When I called Joann answered and told me "We don't do that and can't help you" and I asked her what don't you do clean carpets ?- she said she isn't going to go into detail but they don't do that --- I am still scratching my head as to what she meant- either they don't clean carpets or they won't clean mine because I didn't want to pay for the additional services or if they refused to honor the estimate they gave me (which is essentially what they did by turning away my business) I did call Stanley steamer who, with all the bells and whistles with all 3 rooms and the carpet was still under $500 and they were great

They raked the first layer and put it in bags and hauled them away, put antimicrobial fogger, lime was distributed throughout the whole basement and the old 12 foot sewer pipe (that was left behind by the contractors that replaced the pipe) was cut into pieces and hauled away. They came and did a great job and one of the best parts was they could not have been nicer. It was a big foul smelling mess and they cleaned it up and restored it. The job is done at a reasonable price and it takes less than an hour if you have a small 600 sq ft apartment like mine. Atila was super responsive from the initial contact to set up time to estimate, through to ongoing questions and completion. Putting up boards for walls and ceiling, waterproofing and tiling took 5 days with minimal distribution while I was working from home. The team dealt with oversized tiles on the floor and walls, out of plumb walls and a sloping ceiling with no problems. The finish and standard of work was excellent.
