This review would be crazy long if I talked about all the food we got as we ordered almost everything on the menu. Some items we ordered several of. Everything was absolutely delicious. Very creative vegan food. For me the stand outs were the ribs and the Peking duck wraps. Both amazing and crazy to think it wasn't meat. Wow! Tons of beers and drink options. Loved the video game booths they had as well. This place is lots of fun!

Waitress was able to make an exception and get us seated without a reservation. She was very friendly and patient. The burgers and chik'n were all A1. But that's not a bad thing because they offer excellent food, very generous portions, and delightful desserts. The only drawback with this lovely place is that it doesn't offer enough seating to accommodate all the people who want to eat there during lunch hours. You might want to check out their website (http://bluemooncafe.thebigmenu.co.uk/ ) for more information and opening times, but I'd rather you go and try them for real, they're an institution and offer an exquisite experience to your palate.

I had the club sandwich, usually that means BLT - but not this was something more special; bacon, cheese, chicken, lettuce, tomato and Parmesan fries. Wow. The beer was a bit expensive, 4-5 quid for a can of something American (Brooklyn, Sierra Nevada etc) - but given the environment, it's not a begrudging purchase. Go there, order the chicken or pancakes and rejoice - don't order poached egg and watercress like my girlfriend, she had serious food envy over mine!

Everything from the décor to the beer selection to the bizarre (and admittedly delicious) Lucky Shake does indeed scream Williamsburg. They're open all day, but brunch seems to be what they do best. I enjoyed my waffles and fresh fruit, which had a pleasing cinnamon flavor. I don't like whipped cream much, so I was happy to find out that it comes on the side. My friend had good things to say about her smoked salmon bagel, which came with a solid inch of salmon. The coffee is nothing to trek across town for, but is reasonably priced for the quality. Feeling adventurous, my friend and I decided to go for Lucky Shakes after polishing off our breakfast trays. What a wild ride. Whipped cream, hot fudge, fresh strawberries (see mom? I eat fruit), a donut, and a strawberry milkshake....needless to say, I only had about a third of it before giving up, but what a flavorful third it was. Man, I really need to start eating vegan again. If you're coming here for the novelty of the shake, go light on the food - it could be an entree on its own.

When we…read morewent there it was the Sheffield Documentary Festival (at the Showroom cinema) so you couldn't swing a cat without hitting a 'lovee' or a 'darling'; although I suspect this is probably not far off the regular clientele. The only criticism I would have is that not a great deal of thought has been put into the furntiture / layout. Although it is all lovely wooden clunky stuff it really doesn't make best use of the space; if they had gone for something a little less rustic and a bit more slimline then you might be able to get to a table in the corner without putting your shopping in someone's soup. But if that's the worst criticism I can think of they must be doing something right...

There was some salsa music in the background at the right volume. The waitress was a really lovely woman who greeted us very friendly and gave us our seats. We didn't had to wait long or the dishes started to arrive to our table, (props on that one) The meat was very well done, not to spicy or lame. The variation was good, for every person there was something on the menu (which was very clear). Very tastefull, proportion was also just right. Recommendation for the food, this really makes the effort to come back again. It was an overall good experience and had a good night out. They even gave a quick survey at the end to improve.
