Beanies whole-food shop is a Sheffield legend. It has been meeting the whole- and health-food needs of the local population for over 20 years. They somehow manage to cram an extensive range of fresh, organic, frozen and dried food products into two small rooms and then find room for cleaning products and other carefully chosen environmentally sensitive stuff! The shop is run as a cooperative and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There's almost always someone on hand to offer advice on products and you might even be given recipe tips. The shops very popular with students and young families and because it's small it can get a crowded at certain times of the day and week. Parking can be a bit hit and miss. read more

I love this place! I have since moved away from the area but I would always be in here every weekend for Organic fruit and veg, delicious Organic bread and various other treats. My vegan house-mate has always been a fan of this place also due to their extensive range. All the staff are super helpful and lovely and I still make the odd trip up to here if I am in the area. Good selection, none organic fruit and veggies as well. Wide selection on vegetarian and vegan foods. Fresh bread and types of biscuits and other treats. They supply cleaning supplies. Very helpful and friendly staff. read more
