I was referred to Dr Anderson by a colleague who was trying to lose weight and increase her energy…read more The traditional methods failed her but Dr Anderson did testing that traditional medicine doctors do not. This then led to a natural remedy or two and a complete turnaround for her weight and low energy. I've always been skeptical of natural medicine but after that story (and knowing my colleague is an educated health care professional), I consulted her for various issues and so have family members. She's very smart, methodical, and gets results. At the same time, she is very safety conscious and I don't worry about taking a natural remedy that may cause harm. The office staff have all been lovely and I very much appreciate being able to do remote visits even Orr COVID!

I was so impressed with her knowledge of biology and the importance of the gut to our bodily systems that I made an appointment for an assessment and help with my gastrointestinal problems. She reviewed my medical history and meds/supplements. She ordered a few lab tests and then recommended a few herbals and supplements that helped me feel better. Last spring, I joined Sage's 6-month weight loss program, overseen by Wendy (labs, supplements, guidance), and weekly guidance and mentoring with a nutritionist (Masters). I was given all of the tools and tips I needed to successfully transition to a healthy and nutritious way of eating foods that support my health and wellbeing. The program includes other aspects of health, such as exercise, calming, and craving techniques. I reached my goal weight and continue to work on weight loss with these tools, and will check in regularly with Wendy. I like being able to meet via Zoom too. I feel so grateful to have found Wendy and Sage Integrative Health Center. I have always lived a more holistic and natural lifestyle but after receiving this diagnosis I was at complete loss. The doctor automatically wanted to put me on hormone suppressing medication. He was not interested in talking about diet, exercise or supplements. Thankfully I had met Kathy at a local chamber meeting. She had always stuck out in my mind for how friendly and welcoming she had been at these events. I always looked forward to seeing her. After my diagnosis I decided to reach out to her for a complimentary consultation. After our initial consultation I was confident that Kathy knew exactly where I was coming from! At the time I was living by a vegan lifestyle and she was more than happy to accommodate her suggestions. Kathy taught me so much about my body and the way hormones and everything else is regulated and related. She helped me get on a steady stream of supplements as well as supplying me with reading, meditation and some personal research. I now take a number of supplements that are all specifically targeted for my condition. I'm about six months out from our last session and I can confidently say that Kathy made a huge impact on my quality of life. I sincerely don't think I would be at this level had I not seen her. She does a ton of research to make sure that all of her suggestions are for your specific needs and everything is tailored directly to what you are working on. I cannot sing higher praises for her. I am eternally grateful that she was able to give me such an amazing guidance and support that I wouldn't have gotten from a doctor. Thank you Kathy!

She recommended some supplements but also suggested getting bloodwork to see if there were any underlying issues. My PCP didn't like some of my labs and long story short-- I found out I was iron deficient and got an iron infusion. My joints had just shut down on me and doctors could not figure out what was going on. I uktimately got diagnosed with some catch-all autoimmune disease and was prescribed meds (harsh meds with sever implications) to "see how they work". Yea- no thanks. So I went back to Dr Nayak and was like ummm I got a problem. She rolled up her sleeves and got to work. Consulted with her colleagues to see if they could understand my labs and symptoms and then prescribed numerous supplements, diet changes, and other modals. She asked me to give her 3 months before trying the prescribed meds. I committed and was feeling better within 6 weeks. I can't thank her enough for helping me get through a difficult time. She prepared me for what recovery would look like and was spot on in each of her assumptions. I learn something new in each of our appointments and I really appreciate her holistic approach to healing and wellness.
