May 26, 2023 Was…read moreable to get appt due to cancellation. Appoint was 3:00pm. Got placed in exam room at 3:28pm. Vet came into the room 3:40pm. First thing vet tech brought up was that my cat wasn't on sedation medication when he arrived. He's declawed upfront but she's worried about teeth. Advice, hold the cat properly to not get bit I guess. I've never ever been to a vet in 16-years that pushed sedation prior to appt as much as this place. I know it's because they want to handle the cats in a more gentler manner but it doesn't work for us. I don't give my cat sedation medicine because the last time I did he wouldn't eat for almost 3-weeks afterwards. The after effect was awful, not ever doing that again. Also, it slows his heart rate down and he's 16 years old. He was taken to have his back left toe nail checked as it was irritated and blood drawn to see where we are at with his kidney disease. I was told I'd get the results back Tuesday and was prescribed an ointment to put on his ear to help increase appetite. So we will see if it works. Got blood work back the following week. Stage 4 Kidney Disease. He needs IV fluids 2x weekly and to rub medicine in his ear to increase appetite. Been doing it at home and it's been working a bit. Been having to feed him baby food and anything wet and new. I'm able to purchase the IV bag and needles from the vet and they let me observe how to do it 2 times. It cost about $20-$25 each time.

Spent tons of money to be told my cat had a neurological issue when I kept asking could it be an ear infection? They said no, sent me to a place up in Saint Augustine at the EcoVets clinic for MRI claimed they called there and that someone would be there and they would send the records. I proceeded to bring my cat there. They had not called and there was no one at the MRI clinic to give an MRI. They were all off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cat care clinic told me someone would definitely be there to do the MRI. So after spending over a thousand dollars and being there for six hours and them doing nothing but bloodwork (which I just had done) But, they said the bloodwork would tell me if it was neurological. I keep asking even there if it could be an ear infection and again they too never checked her ears. I got a third opinion and I was right all along. She had an ear infection and is doing great. The reason I know they never even checked her ears is because my vet cleaned them and got lots out of them. All EcoVets did was take advantage of me because I was crying the whole time and they knew if they kept saying the next test will tell me more, I would approve it. Liars. They should be ashamed of themselves both places.

I needed last minute pet sitting help, and I could not find a place that could take my pup so last minute on such a busy holiday. I called them a day or two before Thanksgiving. They had been booked full for months, but they worked with me and squeezed in an extra spot for my frenchie Bella. I had no other options so I am so glad that it all worked out! Julie is so nice and she sent me updates, pictures and videos of Bella every single day. Bella went to the dog park everyday, and she even got to snuggle with them in their bed! She was spoiled rotten, and I am so glad that she wasn't stuck in a kennel all day. Happy Dog Pet Sitting is great because it's in a comfortable home setting so Bella was not nervous or anxious at all. She felt at home with Julie and Time, and she had a total blast!
