There is a great pool with a steam room and a jaccuzzi to chill out in after a big work out which is an improvement on fitness first, but the same service is available at the leisure centre, which is a bit cheaper as well. Its £30 a month for off peak, which isn't great, especially if you work full time because you wouldn't be able to go much. Good gym overall, but a bit pricey.

It has such a lot going for it. There is a great range of equipment which is always well maintained. I think the pool is an added bonus where one can go for a leisurely swim or have fun in one of the aquaroebics classes. A relaxing session in one of the two jacuzzis can be the climax of any workout. The staff are very friendly and always someone on hand for help or advise . There are well qualified trainers available for that one to one training. Booking can be done on line for specific classes such as yoga / palates. The changing rooms are spacious and well equipped with lockers and showers which are always clean and well maintained. There is a cafe which has a good range of food to suite all tastes. Members are entitled to a discount on any purchase from the sports store. All in all this gym has it all so no excuse not to give it a go! And by the way if u are an OAP there is a reduction in the monthly fee.

Pure Gym is a great gym and has a decent range of equipment. Also there seems to have been a few times where the changing rooms and showers have been closed for days at a time for upgrades/repairs etc. That said the gym is big and copes quite well at busy times and the staff and PTs are excellent. The range of classes included in your membership are good and are mostly free as said or at least just a small fee.

The gym equipment is all up to date and the staff are always available to help out or give any assistance that you may need. There are all sorts of classes on which is a good way to get to know people and feel a bit more comfortable around the place but there is no obligation to join just working out on your own is more your thing. My only problem is that it is a little expensive and you have to join for a year to get the best value for money. While this is ok, I'd prefer a shorter term deal like the one you can get at the leisure centre.

Its very much a gym for people for are very, very serious about working out and I found it a little bit intimidating for people who just want to work out to keep in shape. Its all pretty stereotypical with shaven headed men with massive necks and shoulders doing massive weights and standing about talking to eachother. There is very little in the way of atmosphere and its very unwelcoming. You would never feel comfortable asking for help and I can't imagine it would be much fun being a girl in this place.

You can get as good results as any other gym. However, it is very overpriced, but you end up leaving feeling rather ill. The place is filthy. The showers are fungus infested, and probably have not been cleaned since the days of Mike Bulls. The place is in terrible order, yet as stated previously it is a functional gym with expertise of the the owner. Most of the machines are about 45 years old, yet who cares. They do the job. For a pleasurable (and cheaper) experience it is best to go to one of the other gyms where facilities are better. In adddition, the sauna has been broken for ages. Yet Paul's gym is a gym for the hard-core trainers and again, perhaps such facilities are a gimmick. owever, if Pauls gym spruced itself up it would probably lose its clientel who probably love the grimey nature of the place. Artistic gymnastics like you see at the olympics, acrobatics a la Spelbound, cheerleading, adult classes and loads more are offered by this club. Very competitvely priced, kids pay per term depending on what class they want to join. Youngest daughter goes for about 12 hours a week and quite simply adores it. Excellent gym with a focus on free weights and using bodyweight and TRX style workouts instead of…read morehigh tech resistance machines. Really friendly too! The gym is in the Dungannon Rugby Club Stevenson Park complex so its fairly no frills but where it really counts it has all you could need. The main space is fantastic with high ceilings and an array of equipment. There's also a spin studio with regular classes and a large studio upstairs for classes and circuits. The team of trainers also make use of the pitch and outside areas to really make you suffer!! Speaking of the trainers, they are a friendly and approachable bunch and seem to achieve serious results quickly with really positive encouragement - I've seen a big difference myself after only 2 weeks. The gym also has a very even membership of men and women which adds to the welcoming and unintimidating feel. Great place!
