I've been going to the Taylor'd skin studio for 7 years now, and let me tell you.... I had…read morestruggled with really bad cystic acne and pigmentation since the 8th grade and tried everything you think of to try and clear my skin. When I first moved to San Diego, somehow it got even worse and I felt really hopeless that I would have nice skin. I had searched up dermatologist and acne specialist in my area and this spot popped up. I ended up giving it a shot, and ever since that first consult, I knew I was in good hands. I started with the acne program and then eventually graduated to the more "fancy" facials. After about a year everyone in my family noticed such a big difference. I even got my brother and mom to start coming here! Sometimes I even get random compliments from people about how nice my skin is and what my routine is (then I immediately refer them to this spot). My specialist Iryna (love you girl) is the sweetest, most calm and patient person ever. If I ever am freaking out over a break out, she reassures me about the plan and how we can work our way back to being clear. Any question I have, she listens and really works through it with me. And honestly everyone at the front desk is super and sweet and welcoming. If you are looking for a change THIS IS THE SPOT. I promise you, it's all so worth the investment. I can confidently walk out my house without makeup now (which I NEVER used to do from 12-19 years old) and I have the Taylor'd skin studio for that!! :)

The Yelp reviews were great so decided I would give it a try. Thanks Yelp! You have never let me down! This is a cute place tucked away in a small center. The parking spots are numbered, which threw me off. I didn't want to park and have my vehicle get towed but I learned you can park in any numbered spot. Now on to the stylist, Rodrigo. Rodrigo is super sweet and welcoming. When asked what I wanted in a haircut I explained that my hair is naturally curly but I often wear it straight so I just wanted a trim and nothing too short. The end result is amazing! My hair looks healthy and I still have my length. Thank you Rodrigo! I'll definitely be a repeat client!

I had a really disappointing experience at Shape Threading. My usual threading person wasn't there,…read moreso the owner did my eyebrows instead. Unfortunately, I was extremely unhappy with the results. I had naturally nice, full eyebrows, and she made them much too thin. She also cut a significant amount of hair from the top of my brows, On top of that, the threading itself was very rough and uncomfortable. She was pulling hard with the thread, and the whole experience felt unnecessarily painful. I definitely do not recommend getting your eyebrows done by the owner, and I will be going elsewhere from now on it's unfortunate because I have been coming here for years and lady that is usually their is always so welcoming.
