A few months ago I hired another service to do a deep clean with the intent of making it a more regular thing if I liked the work. But they were dismal! I ended up spending a few hours cleaning after the two guys they sent out missed a bunch of stuff that was promised. The products they used smelled so strong and lingered for days, giving me a headache for a week afterwards. It was my first time ever hiring a cleaner, though, so I thought maybe my expectations were just too high, culminating in a pretty disappointing and discouraging experience. Absolutely Clean was my second attempt at finding a service and the difference between them and the previous company was night and day. I had booked just a general cleaning this time, and Aksana did a better job than the "deep cleaning" the other company provided at 1/4 the price and 1/2 the man-power! She was extremely thorough and meticulous, cleaning things and areas I hadn't even expected her to. She even got stains off my oven that I had long given up on. She was very sweet and professional as well. The products she used did not smell bad and the scent was mostly gone by the end of the day. This will definitely be my go-to from now on when I need a little extra help.

While our schedule didn't allow us to take advantage of that, Andrew, the owner, personally reached out to make things right. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers and stand behind their work. If you're looking for a company that communicates well, follows through, and genuinely cares about making things right when expectations aren't met, I would absolutely recommend giving La Clean House a try.

So I requested a deep cleaning to get these surfaces clean, along with the usual cleaning. Ellen , the owner and I agreed upon a VERY reasonable price. She was pleasant and hard working and did everything I needed. I was very happy with the end result.

Let me start with the positives. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and the team…read moredid a wonderful job with carpet cleaning and pet odor removal. I don't think our carpets have smelled this fresh in years. Because of that--and because the company took my concerns seriously afterward--I awarded Spotless Clean SD three stars. Unfortunately, I felt compelled to deduct two stars for a couple of reasons. First, the team did not clean what they considered "cluttered" areas. In practice, this meant that surfaces such as my bathroom counter and office desk were skipped entirely. I understand not moving or organizing personal belongings, but there were crumbs and visible spots that we had to clean ourselves before guests arrived the following day. Additionally, things like trash bins and appliances were left out of place, as if the team left in a hurry. Ultimately, I did not feel I received the full value of the service. Second, while avoiding those "cluttered" surfaces, the team nevertheless moved several art prints and canvases that I had set aside for framing. They placed a heavy plastic office chair mat directly on top of them, leaving several pieces crumpled. Fortunately, I was able to flatten most of the wrinkles, but I was surprised by the lack of care shown toward personal items. To the company's credit, Ellen promptly offered a discount on a future cleaning with a different team, which I genuinely appreciated. Ellen also offered to have a team return and address the remaining areas, but we had already taken care of it ourselves. Given this experience, I don't think we'll be using the company again, sadly.

She's courteous of mine and my house's needs in more ways than I can count. When I needed her to go above and beyond and clean my disaster of a kitchen, she made it seem like the easiest task and no concern of mine. I really appreciate the thoroughness with which she cleans generally, too. Never have I ever spotted places that could use extra cleaning after she leans. Truly grateful for her cleans! The people working behind the scenes are always proactive with getting my cleanings set up, giving me alerts, and doing the other administrative parts of the business without disruption. While the facilities and general staff were adequate, the behavior of Marlene, who I just found out is the CFO, was absolutely unacceptable. In a professional setting, one expects at least a baseline of courtesy and respect--especially from someone in a leadership role. Instead, I encountered rudeness, condescension, and a complete disregard for basic professionalism. It was not just a one-off moment either--it reflected a pattern of behavior that suggests a toxic leadership culture at the top. If the CFO is any indication of how this organization treats people--whether clients, partners, or employees--I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Leadership sets the tone, and in this case, it's not a good one.
