Where could I even begin? There probably aren't even enough words in the world to convey how extremely grateful I am to Dr. Becerra, his staff and practice. They are genuinely the most amazing humans you could ever meet. They treat everyone coming in for a visit just like family. For the past 8 weeks I have been going in, multiple times a week, they have been nothing but professional, patient, kind and caring. Dr. Becerra takes his time with each patient, he never rushes through your session, no matter how many people are waiting, he is always gentle and thorough asking questions the entire time to gage your pain levels. I was pretty bummed to find out that he and Jesse will be moving on, but we wish them both nothing but good luck and blessings in their future endeavors. Extremely shady business. Went there a year ago based on new patient special which offered x-rays you will never get. Service is mediocre, the person who saw me was always in a rush and didn't hear what I said. The worse part is that every time I left I asked if I should pay, and they would say don't worry we will bill your insurance. My insurance didn't cover because of deductibe, I never heard of them until today that they are asking me to pay $460 USD for the "new service special" and 2 sessions. It's like a joke... and I wouldn't be so dissapointed if the service at least would had been good. I doubt all reviews here are real. read more

5 out of 5 and a golden star. We've been coming here since my twins were 13 weeks old, and they just turned 2 years old. Dr Becerra helped my twins with a number of issues including colic since they were born 2 month premature. I've also been coming here myself since I have issues with a herniated disc. I've been doing the decompression therapy every 2 weeks and I have noticed a huge improvement with my lower back. The thing that sets this office apart is that the whole office treats you like family! Dr. Becerra left me with a twisted right ankle. I was reclined on his adjusting table. He asked me if I liked to walk, and I said yes, and then he started yanking on my feet and twisting them. He didn't ask me or even advise me that he was going to adjust my feet. After two days, my right foot and ankle are in pain. I have never heard of any chiropractor doing this. In testing my range of motion on my neck, he was rough and brutal. He also put on the pressure for me to get x-rays of my back and neck. I was not about to submit to getting x-rays done without finding out first if I even liked how a chiropractor adjusted me. He seemed annoyed when I refused x-rays. I have received quality chiropractic treatment from various doctors in the past. I appreciate when a doctor is sensitive to a patient's needs. I could not discern any such sensitivity in Dr. Becerra. He was brusque and brutal. I had a very negative experience in his office. The only thing that seemed beneficial was the heat pack on my back, and I could do that myself at home. read more

My review kinda goes against their regular reviews, but there are definitely some things I need to get off my chest after three visits here. Also, for those who would want to jump on their high-horse; I have had chiropractic adjustments my entire life, with a multitude of different doctors across different continents. So I definitely have something to compare to. I had a chiropractor that I had been seeing in Temecula last year, but sadly due to my work hours and his office closing early, I had to look for alternatives and came across Pure. I went on their website and had seen their 'new patient special' which included x-rays and an evaluation as well as an adjustment. Most places offer this, which is definitely nice. The following two sessions, I was able to use a 'two adjustments for one' coupon which again, is nice financially. Pure has two chiropractors and my first visit got scheduled over the phone with chiropractor Becerra. Upon arrival at Pure, it definitely felt a bit more like a factory than the usual offices I have gone to. Two private cubicles as well as an open area with three adjustment tables and a side room with two roller tables. You can hear every conversation and to me it felt a bit too close for comfort sometimes. I got a physical evaluation as well as x-rays and a first adjustment, which definitely moved certain vertebrae back where they belonged and I felt much better already walking out. The one thing that went a bit too far for me was that I did at some point feel a sharp pain in my back and the chiro asked if some pain gel might help. Thinking he would hand me some, or have his female assistant help me (since it was the middle of my back), instead his hand went straight under my shirt to the middle of my back to rub in the gel (no gloves by the way). Definitely made me feel uncomfortable.. They also made me schedule another appointment to come back for the x-ray evaluation, even though x-ray images are almost instantly available. But I guess that's part of the gimmick. So I came back a second time to go over the x-rays. I did receive a very detailed explanation regarding my x-rays and what was going on in my neck and back. The second adjustment again felt great and I instantly felt better walking out. Thinking I would be ok continuing to come here after all, I came back for my third adjustment. All as usual, I walk in and get taken to a table, face down with a heating pad on my back. I was lying there definitely over 5 minutes before their other chiropractor came up to me for an adjustment. I was kind of surprised because no one had informed me (not prior, not upon entering, not upon lying down) that another person would be doing my adjustment today. My regular chiro apparently had a family emergency, which happens, but why not tell his patients so they at least have the choice to keep or reschedule their appointments? Since there was again strain in my back, I decided to have him do my adjustment, which he did just fine. When I was standing at the front desk, scheduling my next appointments, I kind of voiced my feelings. Instead of being met with an apology or some sort of understanding, I got a snarky attitude and response saying that that's normal and it happens that you can be booked with either, it's not a big deal because they do it all the time. Yeah.. Booked with both throughout your adjustment program.. Maybe.. Not last minute swapped out without notifying patients at some stage?! Never in my life, not at other chiropractic offices, not at doctors offices, have I been in such a situation! Her way of responding definitely resulted in an awkward tension. So little consideration for how a female coming from an abusive background feels about some random strange man all of a sudden standing next to her saying he will be doing her adjustment instead of the guy she was barely getting used to touching her and shifting weight around to do something intricate. Of course they don't know my background, but just the fact that I voiced concern, should not have resulted in such a defensive, non-emphatic push-back and an overall lack of willingness to understand how one might have felt. I had an extremely bad feeling when I walked out of the office and I not long after called to cancel my future appointments. PS: What's up with all the biblical stuff around the office? Really disappointed and almost to the point we're I feel disrespected. I came in serve pain and the doctor could of not rushed me more. My adjustment was fast because they are busy. I felt rushed the whole appointment and for the amount of pain I was and currently am in I am embarrassed for them on for how they treated me. He didn't recommend any stretches, for $90 I got a fast adjustment and xrays and then I have to wait a week for a "diagnosis" . I wasn't given any instructions before I left for treatment at home and I don't see why I physically have to come back there for this and I will be calling them to say that. read more

LOVE this office. I have been going to the office for about two months. Everyone is very friendly, the office is clean and Dr. B is the BEST! I went to Dr. B with server lower back pain, do to a weekend of gardening and washing my car. Dr. B did x-rays, he reviewed them with me and discuss my plan treatment. Before starting treatment my pain was a 10+ and my range of motion was about 20%. Within a week I could feel a difference. After two months my pain is between a 0-1, my range of motion is 98%. I started chiropractic care here about 10 weeks ago. I went in because my mid back has been spasming, like a band across the back ribs that felt like stabbing pain and shocks. I've been living with it but I am a plumber and it was interfering and acting up when I get into confined spaces. Dr B gave me an x-ray and showed me some issues he found with my L-5 area. I was skeptical and the first two weeks it really didn't change. But then I noticed that the spasms subsided. About 4 weeks in I started doing my sit up routine, mostly crunches etc but stuff I hadn't done for almost a year due to the spasms. About 6 weeks in we cut back to once every two weeks and I got back into doing push-ups pull-ups and sit-ups! Now I'm playing racquetball again and feel pretty good for a 50 year old plumber. I had hurt my lower back some how and I couldn't stand up straight an I was leaning to one side while I walked. I went to Urgent care and they didn't do much for me. I was in so much pain and I decided to not listen to what the urgent care doctor said and made an appointment Yvette and Dina are amazing they are so welcoming and they actually care about how you are feeling and if you are in pain. Dr. D is really nice too and he did my X-rays and made sure I was comfortable while doing them. I see Dr. Becerra is a life saver. He actually listened to me; not to respond, but to actually hear me. I have been to a lot of doctors and I feel they never really listen to what I say but Dr. Becerra is completely different. I don't know what my back would feel like if it wasn't for him. I felt miserable before seeing him. I couldn't even walk or move around with out my back seizing up. After my first visit I felt better. On my second visit he went over my X-rays and gave me a step by step plan on how he (we) could fix my back. Dr. Donofrio is my favorite doctor of all time and don't think anyone comes close to his #1 spot. I had originally came in due to feeling tense in my upper back and pain in my lower back. Upon examination, Dr. D discovered I had a huge neck curvature issue that could possibly be causing all the symptoms. He got me on a care plan and fast forward to 4 months later, my neck curvature has gotten closer to normal, I feel more mobility, and the amount of headaches I was having went down. I didn't even know the headaches could've been caused by the way I carried my neck but it obviously had some effect! Dr. D is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly cares about your well-being. We have been patients of Dr Donofrio for over a year and love him! My husband is considered a very difficult case from past doctors and he had pretty much given up. But I found Dr. Donofrio and convinced him to come see him. Dr. Donofrio has been able to give him movement back to his neck and better overall health with regular adjustments. I found this chiropractic office almost 10 years ago when I hurt my back and could barely walk. Dr. Becerra and all of his staff are so great! of course I felt much better and had not gone for a while until recently and nothing has changed everything is still great. i'm feeling back to my old self again with the care from Pure Chiropractic- very professional group, answers all my questions, I get great exercises to do in between visits. I came to Dr. Becerra after experiencing sciatica for almost 2 months. I was in unbearable pain and could hardly walk. I switched to his office after another local chiropractor didn't seem to be able to help me and I was not improving. Dr. Becerra spent time with me at my first appointment, did not rush me, and could immediately locate where my problems were arising from. Within 3 weeks of seeing him, I was about 70% better. Within 4 weeks, I was 100% better. It was nothing short of a miracle. I have seen him regularly for the past few months with almost no issues since then. He does not push unnecessary visits upon you, and even though he gave me a treatment plan, he re-assessed me when he saw my improvements and let me know I did not need to come in as often. That is almost unheard of in the chiropractic world. He will not up-sell you; he is genuinely there to help you get better. I have been debating writing this review because of how negative it is. I have been to a few chiropractors in a different state and none of them have treated me the way Pure Chiropractic has treated me. This is long but it all matters. Initially it seemed great! The office staff was kind and happy to answer any of my questions. I had to reschedule my appointment due to a work conflict so instead of putting me with Dr. Becerra I was scheduled with Dr. Donofrio which wasn't a big deal as it was my first time and I had no preference. I had some x-rays from a previous chiropractor so I could show him that the curvature in my neck was bad and that I needed some help reversing it. Dr. Donofrio was condescending my entire conversation, almost making fun of my request. He said he would help me out but only gave me a "tune up" and never said another word about my neck. My second visit, he couldn't remember a single thing about me. There were no notes as to why I was in, what needed to be done, nothing. I had to explain it all over again, including his snide remarks and belittling. I requested help with my neck and added a request for ergonomics for when I'm sitting in my chair at work. He promised me that he would help me out "next time" and so I didn't press the matter any further. I showed up again and he still didn't remember anything about me. I was pretty upset at this point because when I mentioned my x-rays, he had no idea what I was talking about even though he had pulled them up before. I told him that I emailed it to the office email and he told me to ask the office to send the photos to him... all he had to do was walk less than 10 feet and ask them himself. I never asked them because it isn't my job. I asked him AGAIN for help with my neck and he finally just showed me some exercises. He seemed so bugged that he had to show me that. I was fed up with how unprofessional he was. They undercharged me for my copay and I had multiple bills show up in the mail to pay the rest of the copay. I was definitely frustrated by then and didn't show up again for many months. Unfortunately, I took a fall and threw my hips out of place. I was desperate for pain relief so I booked an appointment again hoping that maybe it wasn't that bad of an experience. I was so wrong. Dr. Donofrio was even more condescending and belittling than last time. I decided to look past that because I needed help. He rubbed some pain gel on my back and hips after asking if it was ok to touch me. No problem, he's a professional and wont do anything weird. I was wrong. He pulled my pants down farther than necessary to rub the gel in to my hips and even lifted my pants up, which isn't normal. The band of my underwear had folded in the process and he found it necessary to unfold it for me, straighten them out, and pull them up.... It was absolutely unnerving to have that happen. I felt betrayed and frightened that he was going to do something even worse to me. I hope I am the anomaly and he is not treating his other female patients like this. It is disgusting and predatory behavior. I worry that no one will take this review seriously but my trust was broken because that should never have happened. read more

Was halfway through my session and then they came in the middle of it to tell me that my insurance was not covering the appointment that I already was in the middle of which made me pay full price out-of-pocket without any warning before hand, overcharged me for every appointment as my co-pay and had to mail me a check of my refund which was 85% of all of my dues. Very unprofessional and unorganized establishment, waited 45 minutes for a five minute adjustment when I tried to reschedule for another day they explain they already ran my card for the appointment without my consent so I couldn't leave and had to be seen. read more

I have been seeing Dr Becerra since March. I originally came to him after injuring my lower back putting my two-year-old son in his car seat. After two visits my back was virtually back to normal. I continued to see him every week for the next two months. Now I see him about every two weeks for "maintenance". He and his staff have been great the entire time. I came with a tight neck, headaches gaining frequency and my hips didn't feel like they were facing the same direction as my shoulders. My son has suffered middle ear infections ( what I was told by medical professionals) since he was 18 months old and put on antibiotics too many times to count to really just wait for the next ear infection . I had severe neck pain when I initially visited Dr Becerra, he was very caring and was able to restore mobility to my neck as well as help relieve the pain in my lower back. I was very nervous of the idea of seeing a Chiropractor as I 'm a very tense person and was worried I wouldn't be able to relax enough, but Dr.Becerra was very easy to talk with and put my mind at ease and made me very comfortable. I had one adjustment with Dr.Donofrio while Dr.Becerra was out of the office and he was very professional and knowledgable as well. I work over 40 hours a week sitting in front of a computer and have a small business that involves more computer work and sitting, so my back and neck had really been suffering along with constant headaches. Dr. Donofrio was really friendly and knowledgeable in his practice. I've been having back and posture problems for a awhile now so i wanted to make sure i was good to go before i left for bootcamp. Dr. Donofrio was very thorough with his assessment and adjusted my spine. It felt like i was getting a massage! They also used a muscle relaxation solution that helped my tense muscles that I got from working out regularly. After the seeing the doctor they put you on a roller machine that massages your whole body. I went home and passed out for hours.
