Not "blissful" at all from the get-go. You'd think that a small, independently-owned business would appreciate clients and strive harder. I will not be returning. From the moment I entered, they were not welcoming or nice, seemed bothered, too many people hustling around, too much noise going on during my session and when speaking with the owners, was pretty much told my feelings were wrong. Very hard for them to return a phone call. There's plenty of other spas around to consider when looking for these services. Previously, sent my resumé in many times (they always seem to be hiring) because I thought this might be a wonderful place to work but I guess with their management, now I see the reason for the high turnover. Couldn't even get a response back or even an acknowledgement, but in the long run, thank goodness for that! read more

I called and was able to get a same day Awakening Manicure/Pedicure (90 minutes). Alex was my provider for the services, and was very meticulous and took her time with my much overdue nails. It was quite a different experience having to wear a mask and having a barrier, but that's just the times we are in right now. Cleaning protocols were adhered too also. I love coming to Pure Bliss Spa, and have ever since they were in a cute little house on Toney Penna Dr. It might cost a bit more than other places, but its peaceful and quiet for a true pampering experience. I had the best manicure here! The room is quiet and relaxing and the mani was perfect. The nail tech took her time and was friendly. I also has a Vi peel here and was very happy with my results. If you plan on booking a mani or pedi be sure to call weeks in advance, they only had 1 nail tech and she books out quickly. Called the same day for a spur of the moment facial and massage. The kind lady was able to get me in at 3:45 with Tina for my facial and 4:45 with Christina for my massage. Both were more than great- these ladies were experienced, passionate and went above and beyond during both treatments. We were looking for a spa in Palm Beach County to use a gift card at. This is how we happened upon Pure Bliss Day Spa. In an area full of big hotel spas, this place is a home-grown welcome change-of-pace. The staff was great and very concerned to make my wife and I feel comfortable as we entered to get massages. Also, our therapists were very attentive to customize our treatment to our needs and even gave advice on how to sleep and stretch to relieve pain in the future. The setting was a quaint little house-turned-spa with modern decor and soothing music. We didn't get a manicure or pedicure but those areas were more than your average pedicure chair and they use all-natural and organic supplies. My wife is already planning to go back to try out some of their holiday specials. So if you are looking for a retreat anywhere in the Palm Beach area, I would recommend Pure Bliss. read more

My experience at Bliss was far from blissful. My husband and I booked 90 minute massages and throughout the entire (literally, entire) massage, all I heard was noise coming from outside the treatment room. I heard doors opening and closing, often times the doors slamming shut. I heard constant talking and laughing, so much foot traffic, people walked past my treatment room every 30 seconds. The most disturbing part was the phone ringing. The ringer was cranked up so loud it was obnoxious. Throughout my entire 90 minute treatment, I pondered ways to remedy the disturbing noise that kept me awake and alert, not able to enjoy my massage. The level of noise was truly so disruptive and frequent that I couldn't enjoy the experience, I almost asked to end the massage at 60 minutes as I wasn't enjoying. When the massage concluded, I shared my feedback with the lady at the front desk and her response to the noise was "well, we are a small day spa". I'm sorry, but that is an unacceptable response, particularly in the service industry, and especially in the industry of creating a peaceful, relaxing environment. I provided recommendations to the receptionist regarding the noise level to avoid future guests having the same experience I had, however she didn't seem too concerned or interested, so I would like to reiterate my recommendations: install rubber stoppers on the doors to avoid slamming, have your staff wear rubber sole shoes so the sound of plastic soles don't echo through the treatment rooms, in general minimize the foot traffic, discourage staff from loud conversation next to treatment rooms, and most importantly, get a Bluetooth ear piece for the receptionist or turn the ringer down on the phone!!!! The volume of the ringer was ridiculous! Unfortunately my experience overlooked how nice Alex (female) was as I truly enjoyed her. My husband and I drove an hour north to visit you and we don't plan on returning, in spite of a great experience a few months prior. Not when we can go to The Breakers spa or a spa closer to home and spend the same amount of money and actually enjoy our time. read more

This is now my spa of choice! I had the best massage ever from Arpad and the best mani/pedi from Jennifer. The staff here is very friendly and the treatments are AMAZING. I love that this spa is a "green" spa. The products they use are all natural and you don't have to worry about getting a mani/pedi and the tub having those jets that are a petri dish for disease. They have these lovely spa bowls that are excellent! I felt like this was really my first massage even though I get a massage once a week because this was the first time I felt a therapist really tried to address my needs. I love this Spa!! True to its name, it is Pure Bliss. It started the minute I walked in the door. I was met by a friendly staff member who offered a nice cup of tea. After only a few minutes, I was ushered back to the massage room. Soft music was playing as I lay on the table with my eyes closed. The massage definitely took my aches away and left me mellow. I put on a plush, comfortable robe and went into another room for my facial. More tension was relieved as the therapist gently massaged and cleansed my face and temples. My face looked so clean and rejuvenated!! On to my mani/pedi....more massage......MORE BLISS!!! The Therapist answered my questions regarding skin care and made suggestions on which product I should use. They sell the product on site. My mind and body was definitely rejuvenated after leaving Pure Bliss. The staff is professional and knowledgeable and answered any questions I had.
