That was fine as I did not mind waiting because I know appointments sometimes tend to run longer than intended. The lady from the back came, barely acknowledged me and was speaking to the guy in the front. She took me to one of the rooms for my massage and asked once more if I wanted a 50 minutes massage which would be a man or a 60 minute massage which would be a lady. I told them I don't mind who ever services me as long as it is 60 minutes but I would prefer a female. She said okay and just left me in the room with the door closed. No instructions were given on what I needed to do next and I was waiting in that room for more than 30 minutes....no one came to check up on me, tell me how long I had to wait, there was a langue barrier as I am not sure they both understood what I was saying behave I for sure could not understand what they were telling me for the most part. The massage bed sheet has some stains on it, the little tiny square sheet cover was over used, wrinkled, and had holes. Long story short, I gotta things and left. I'm no stranger to Asian foot massage places, and I'm fine with minimal frills provided the service is good. On 3/20, I visited the Covington Highway location after calling ahead for an appointment. I asked for a foot massage, and there was some initial confusion that ended up with me getting put in the wrong room but it was quickly sorted. I was asked about the type of pressure I'd like, and when I shared that I wanted firmer pressure, they mentioned it would be $10 extra. A little unusual for a foot only massage and not listed on the pricing menu, but it was disclosed verbally upfront. Annoying but fine. During the course of my 1 hour foot massage, the masseuse is on her phone texting and coordinating appointments. She gets up and leaves the room 9 times. 9! To go and help translate with customers who are coming in for their appointments. She's apologetic, but how much "firm" pressure do you think is really being applied when you're massaging with one hand and texting with the other? At this point, I've already made the mental note not to return. Now to the moment that prompted the review: I go to check out and I do tip $10, despite not being happy overall with the constant breaks in service and not feeling like I got exceptionally "firm" pressure. She then asks me to tip $20 instead. To ask for an ADDITIONAL tip knowing that you provided poor service is absurd, greedy, and very bad business.
