I've been doing bar for years and this my fellow yelpers is not your average run of the mill bar studio, trust me. While traveling for work, I mustered up the energy to try this locally owned studio. The workouts are great. The instructors are helpful and encouraging. The room is small and considering How COVID spreads you are taking a chance with your health by going to class there. I stopped supporting the business mainly because one of the owners went on a political rant after class. Her views and language made me feel uncomfortable with supporting her business any further. It was anxiety inducing to have to hear it in an environment that should be neutral. read more

Yay! Pure Barre in Bozeman! I've become a huge PB addict and was excited to be able to get a workout in while visiting Bozeman. People who have pilates backgrounds will recognize some of the core exercises, and the working sections of the workout are mixed with yoga-inspired stretches to let you catch your breath and work on flexibility. What I love about PB is that it very effectively targets tough areas - think thighs, seat, hips, lower stomach, triceps and shoulders. The instruction at this studio was consistent with the classes I've taken in Seattle, with great encouragement and good music. The cute decor in the lobby and bathroom, snacks (apples, nuts, M&M's...) in the waiting/changing area, and big, bright window in the studio are all nice touches! I do have a couple of suggestions for this new location. First, cap your classes to fit the size of your studio. The Saturday 9:15am class I attended was VERY crowded! I've been to busy classes in Seattle, but this class felt like it had 2-3 more people in it than the room could comfortably fit. People were crowded on the barre and the floor space was at a premium. Second, add a water cooler to the waiting/changing area. Third, add some double bands to the rotation - they may be torture devices, but they make for some of the most effective exercises! read more

I've been a barre fan for a while, but with other companies (B3, bar method, etc.), but pure barre just won me over! I love that it is low-impact, but high intensity. All of the instructors I have taken have been friendly, engaging, energetic, and motivating; they make the 50-minutes go by so quickly. This great new studio is a perfect fit for the Bozeman community. Nestled in the heart of downtown, Pure Barre Bozeman provides a great workout for all ages. The classes are challenging to all fitness levels. The instructors are experts and able to assist in proper technique as well as provide modifications to make the workout more difficult or a bit easier. The website is user friendly and makes buying packages and scheduling classes simple. I've taken classes from multiple instructors and have been impressed with all of them. I went in for my first class with a friend. From the first walk in- welcoming, helpful, during class the instructors are helpful, encouraging and make you feel comfortable. Even the crowd was encouraging! This is more of a little community and I feel the price is reasonable, perfect location, nice people and smaller groups. I tried one class and loved it!!! I wanted to try another class this morning. Tried to register twice yesterday and twice this morning and it wouldn't recognize my user ID . I tried to call for assistance and got an answering message numerous times. I never received a call back. I drove in (15 minutes) to attend the class which appeared to have room from the web-site. My user ID was correct and the class was full. The staffs response was underwhelming. read more

I love pure barre, and was so happy to be able to take a class in Bozeman on my road trip to Seattle. I actually took 2 classes, with 2 different instructors. I took my very first pure barre class today with Sarah White, it was amazing! It's completely different than most workouts, really focuses on small muscle groups. Bonus, Sarah's a babe and super helpful with tweaking poses and exercises. My advice: do it!!! read more

This was a great studio! And a great first time experience with the Pure Barre Classic class ran by Holly. I'm a personal trainer so I have high standards for my workouts, both in terms of the class content and the instructor personality. Both were fantastic. The class was challenging but not in a discouraging way. Holly was both encouraging and very helpful with modifications and making me feel comfortable at my first class - and this was no easy feat as I was 9 months pregnant upon taking this class! Both the instructor and the class content made me feel the best I've felt in a long time, both mentally and physically. The environment itself was also supremely encouraging and welcoming. This studio offers a workout that is targeted and effective! Classes are only an hour and you can truly see changes after just a week! The schedule also offers a wide variety of class times that allows me to fit it in every day no matter what else I have going on! I was skeptical at first, but now I am truly addicted! read more

I have never been a fan of strength training. I took advantage of the Seize the Deal and am hooked! I can hardly wait for the next class, and even though I can hardly walk to it, it's so worth it. It's amazing how quickly you become stronger, and the workouts never get easier. Change is constant as long as you want it to be. Push yourself a little harder for big payback. No pain no gain has new meaning to me now. I would recommend this class to anyone, young or old, couch potato to body builder, short to tall, it fits all!!! The instructors are great at helping you gain strength, but safely. I'll be going for a long time. read more

PURE BARRE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I started taking classes in January and have lost 26 pounds since then. It has sculpted and toned my body unlike anything else I have ever tried. I have a more athletic build, and have never been able to workout and not look bulky. PB has completely leaned out and toned my muscle so I have definition in every part of my body but not in a bulky way. I'm genuinely excited to go to class everyday to see the instructors and my friends that I have made in class. I have also become addicted to the workout clothes they sell. They have great brands that not everyone in Bozeman already has and do sales all the time! The girls are all so friendly and knowledgeable about the product and the classes and are always willing to help in any way they can. I also use the app on my iPhone and it makes scheduling classes super easy. Anyone looking for a new workout and a life change PB Bozeman is the place to do it! read more
