Within my case my opposing litigate represented herself and stood at the podium and lied over and over again and was believed due to the fact hear say is allowed in Family Court her in Washington in addition to the extreme lack of defense from Pat Chvatal. Not one time did she defend my case or go out of her way to protect my children. On three separate occasions my autistic child has eloped under the care of the opposing litigate and not only did Pat Chvatal but also the commissioning judge Brandon Holt said these things happen.... If you research the statistics of death among autisc children when they elope it is at a stagerring 75-80% due to drowning. After feeding me a line of crap that he thought he could win my case and making me drive to eastern WA 10 times just to go to court and have his assistant postpone (all this was an attempt to make me FEEL like he was working for me). He finally came to trial to convince me that I should just plead guilty and his year of leading me to believe he could win the case would have worked in another County, but not Benton County. This guy is full of it. If you want to spend $7500.00 and waste a year of your life going to court over and over just to have him do nothing except feed you a bunch of lies and give you false hope only to tell you to plead guilty at the last minute you must like being toyed with. My charge was for DUI. I had to sit through sentencing and watch a dozen or more people go up with DUI plus accidents, plus blowing traffic lights, multiple DUI's and so on. Most had no attorneys (the smart move) but all received the same judgement. Fines, probation, Victims panel and one other thing I don't remember. The system is set up to dole these punishments out whether you pay these jerks $7500.00 or not. So why burden yourself with the extra cost and false hope. I can't say enough bad things about this team. They simply are NOT WORTH IT.

Extremely Disappointed -- Look Elsewhere If you are…read moreconsidering hiring this law firm for your bankruptcy, my advice is simple: look elsewhere. From the beginning of our case, communication was a major problem. We were never able to speak directly with the attorney or the attorney's assistant by phone. Not once. Calls were not returned, and emails routinely went unanswered for days or even weeks. We repeatedly had to follow up just to get basic information about the status of our own case. The delays became so significant that we actually had to retake the required bankruptcy course because the paperwork was not completed in a timely manner. Our bankruptcy took nearly a year, even though we provided every document and everything else they requested from us promptly. The customer service was equally disappointing. The receptionist was frequently rude and abrasive, making an already stressful situation even more difficult. During visits to the office, we could hear her arguing with other clients on the phone and raising her voice at them. Hearing clients being spoken to that way was extremely uncomfortable and did nothing to inspire confidence in the firm. Bankruptcy is an incredibly stressful and personal process. When you hire an attorney, you expect communication, professionalism, responsiveness, and someone who will actually be there to answer your questions. That was not our experience with this firm. Looking back, the lower cost was simply not worth the frustration. The stress of dealing with unanswered emails, lack of communication, delays, and having to repeatedly chase the office for information made an already difficult experience much worse. Do yourself a favor and thoroughly research other bankruptcy attorneys before hiring this firm. In our experience, you may save some money upfront, but the headache and emotional turmoil that followed were absolutely not worth it.
