My mother was told the dog $5200, and financing was available. Ciara listed all these benefits that she gets from purchasing a pup with them. My mother felt she was getting a good deal since they were including grooming for 6 months, obedience training, and life insurance for her new pup. However these things were not benefits of buying from them, she was charged for all of them. The actual cost of the dog was $3280.83 and all of those "benefits" added up to $2,219.17. Had she been informed that these were not actual benefits, but services she was going to be charged for, she would've opted out. After nearly 48 hours of not receiving an invoice, she had to call and request one which is when we found out all of these "benefits" were mischaracterized. For nearly 24 hours, we have tried talking to the manager regarding this to get these "benefits" refunded and received no response. Which is ironic because Monday the manager called me and text me twice about coming to get a new puppy for myself. We finally gave up on them responding and called the store again. I spoke with the manager Hayden and explained that she was told the cost of the dog was $5200 and it included all of these things which seemed as though they were perks or free benefits of getting a dog with them- no itemization was provided in advance. After nearly 20 minutes of explaining how this was misrepresentation and poor business practices and him clearly not understanding he claimed he will have the owner contact me. I explained to him thoroughly that we're not asking for the services for free. We are simply asking for a refund for the services because she is not interested in them and was not provided a detailed itemization of the purchase in advance- had she been, she would have opted out out of these services. At one point, he initially agreed that it was a misrepresentation, then tried to backtrack saying well he understood how it was a misinterpretation. It is not a misinterpretation because we were not fully informed prior to the purchase. They have not returned our calls and refused to reverse the charges for unwanted services with the financier. We have contacted the attorney generals office to request their review of Puppy Dreams violations by forcing add-ons and lack of transparency. read more

I love my puppy. But think they come from a puppy farm and that saddens me. Also they advised the puppy would be registered and I still have not received anything from them or a response in 4 weeks. My contract that was signed states as much which they tried to skip when reviewing. Puppies are super cute and super expensive.
