I'm SOOOO thankful for that rejection because there's no way they would've done what Tame did. I truly thought we were going to have to give up one of my girls because of fights. I've never had an issue with training in my 40+ years on this earth & was so disheartened. Tame turned that around. I have the tools now & knowledge of some new tricks to help me & most importantly them. We were lucky enough to get paired with Riley who was so prompt with communication. We did the long program & he (and his team) went above and beyond to put our minds at ease. Even after we brought her home they still answer our random questions. I live in the Ft. Worth area & can tell you the drive is worth it! Thank all of you guys so much for everything! I can never thank you enough!

Our busy lives simply didn't allow us to dedicate the time needed to properly train her ourselves. After two and a half weeks boarding at Tame, which was also a nice reset for us, we have a well trained dog that can easily fit into our busy household. We would highly recommend Tame and plan on using the boarding program going forward to reinforce the foundation they setup.

Being a husky mix we shouldn't have been surprised. We did 4 sessions with Dawn and she helped us with the basic commands and we saw a major change in Alphie. He listens to us so well now and is more responsive to our commands. We are still working on the leash reactivity, but he is slowly improving. The main thing was that Dawn gave us the tools to calm him and/or distract him when he gets into a reactive situation. We are hopeful he is going to get much better. Repetition and routine is key. Dawn was amazing to work with. We went to her house twice for the training and she had an awesome yard for Alphie to run around in, and we got to see how amazing he is off the leash with her dogs, which was so fun to see. Thank you Dawn!!

After taking them both to work with Dawn several times we made great progress. I've had several other typical puppy training issues and each time Dawn has helped me understand why they are happening and what to do about them. She is so friendly and calm about it I never have to feel like a bad dog mom! We still take Leia to board with Dawn when we are away- Dawn just mixed her right in with all the other dogs so she can have fun and play, spend time outside, and enjoy the other people around. I would choose this over a kennel atmosphere anytime! And as a bonus, Dawn works on training reminders with Leia while she boards her, so I get a refreshed dog when I return! Dawn is the BEST!

He came home knowing sit, down, stay, and come when called. He wasn't that great on a leash yet because of him being so young and she had worked wonders with him on the collar as the breeder we purchased him from never had any collars on him. Before he went there he would constantly scratch any collar we put on him and pull on the leash. I would recommend them for training any day! They also did great socializing him with children!

I thought I would have to remember to contact them during daytime hours to schedule but she texted me within a few minutes. We went back and forth on what I needed and got our petite golden doodle on their schedule. Anyway...groomer Lauren texted she was on her way and arrived inside of the schedule window. We discussed what we wanted and she verified everything and gave suggestions that we could do. Lauren was fantastic and texted us throughout the process and sent pics. We initially thought we needed a full groom but she thought she just needed to be cleaned up. Anyway, this is the best service I have received from anywhere this year!!! I will definitely be using them over and over A+++.

Previous boarding experiences were fine however when they screwed our boarding this last time with…read morevaccine records and did not have the date of a vaccine they needed the ball was dropped. Manager onsite 10/14 apologized that previous person put the date in wrong in 2024 so it did not flag as overdue and the next person who checked the records I just sent for 10/2025 visit did not actually look and just approved it. We had to scramble as the vet was closed and we flew out next day. Over $600 to fly with pets and change hotel to pet friendly and buy all supplies and spent vacation driving extra because the hotel was so far away from the city. No follow up call from PP during this. Once I left negative feedback we got a call and further excuses claiming they emailed me the day prior to the reservation about the vaccine date which is a lie as the manager the day of the reservation said they had the ALL CLEAR and there was NO reason for them to "double check" previously reviewed reservations. Excuse me but needing a vaccine date for an upcoming or day off reservation but claiming an email was their ONLY communication attempt is ridiculous. They call and confirm, they send text reminders, etc. We had NONE of this. In the end we were offered a one night free stay for each cat for next time which is about $100 - as IF we will be booking again. Moral of our experience is if you book call and confirm but also remember this is a corporation and they do NOT care about people. The employees are nice but also remember they just work there. Will have to now find a better option before our next trip.

Let me assure you that you can teach an old dog new tricks. Or at least better manners... it's interesting to see the drastic improvement from the younger students as well. Robyn makes learning fun for both the pet and the owner, everything is taught with a gentle touch, putting the animal first. If you're considering dog training to help you and your pet, you'd be hard pressed to find better instructors than Robyn and her Team. Sammie gives them 5 woofs as well! Robyn helped me work with basic obedience right after I got my Hazel while Robyn was still at PetSmart. It was immediately clear that she has a next-level understanding of how to translate what our human expectations are into language and consistency our pups can understand. She is efficient and yet effective at explaining why the techniques she teaches work. Well a couple years passed and, for the first time since I adopted Hazel, I was going to be traveling somewhere she couldn't come. While looking for solutions, I considered a Board and Train situation but was weary of trusting my pup to just anyone. By complete happenstance, around the same time I ran into Robyn and her husband while running errands! Lo and behold, they had started their own training company and would board and train Hazel for me. I was so relieved! This was the first time I had left Hazel with anyone other than family and the first time she'd been left for more than a night. Robyn and her staff took great care in communicating. Hazel is a breed mix of some famously smart and stubborn breeds. Training effectively requires consistency and, most importantly, cooperation from the owner. Robyn and her staff excel equally at working with the dog and 'training' the owner. I am so excited to continue learning and working with Goode Dog Training to give Hazel and myself the best possible foundation. I couldn't recommend them highly enough!
