At 12:45am I was again awakened by the same loud and obnoxious music. After enduring the noise for 10 minutes I began honking my horn to drown out the offensive music. The music stopped. I was then confronted by the occupant of that vehicle, which turned out to be the night manager, named Roberto. He told me that I was not allowed to park there and that if I didn't leave he would call the police.(There were at least four other vehicles with people sleeping in them parked in the lot who were not rousted.) This guy was rude, unapologetic and ugly. He has numerous facial piercings and a neck tattoo and his taste in music is simply repellent. He mocked my age and called me names and ran me off the property in my underwear at 1am in the night. I have been buying fuel and snacks from Flying J for over 30 years and never before this episode did I EVER have a bad experience at a Flying J or Pilot. I have also been using the Winnemucca Flying J as my half-way rest spot for years without any objections from Flying J. I feel that this guy, Roberto, does not reflect the values and priorities of Flying J/Pilot. As a result of this bad encounter, the next morning, I purchased $120 worth of fuel at Love's, rather than Flying J. I called the Flying J later in the afternoon and shared my complaint with Adelle, a day manager. She was very apologetic, and assured me that she would follow up on my complaint. I did not hear back from Adelle or anyone at Flying J. After Christmas I contacted the corporate office to restate my complaint. The nice lady on the phone assured me that the manager and the district manager would receive my complaint. But nobody has gotten back to me. I am bitterly disappointed. In the past my experiences at Flying J/Pilot truck stops have always been pleasant and commendable. Every location has always welcomed me with a friendly "Hi! Welcome to Flying J." Roberto seems to have a different agenda than to provide comfort and hospitality to weary travelers. Because of Roberto I will no longer patronize Flying J/Pilot fuel stops. I will spend my money at Love's or Maverick's. Roberto's behavior is an embarrassment to Flying J, but if they are going to sustain it in spite of the customers I will take my business elsewhere. The boy should be terminated.

They nearly blew up my RV motorhome. I knew I had at least 15 more gallons room in my tank but the pump stopped. I went inside and asked for help. Their attendant came out and did not tell me that severe incline of that gas station prevents me from filling up my tank (they should not permit stations on such big incline to begin with), instead he kept pumping in short bursts before pump would shut off, forcing more gas into the tank which was spilling over underneath. He had me move to the next pump, which was on even more severe incline and he kept trying to pump again. The gas was coming out, he finally said he saw gas coming out. He said my motorhome fuel gauge was broken when I mentioned that there's 15 gallons room left not just based on gauge but based on mileage driven too. Then he pointed at the stream of gasoline pouring out from out of somewhere under the back of my motorhome. It was terrifying. I had to crawl under the RV toward that gas poodle because he kept saying my RV was broken, but the stream stopped after at least 1.5 gallons leaked out in that spot alone not to mention he had gas all over the back side of the RV where the gas fill cap was. Asked me to move to a different pump, while there was a puddle of gas under the RV and underneath it was all soaked in gasoline, it could have all exploded. I was terrified my RV was damaged and fuel line or gauge was busted, while I was traveling cross country. After gas stopped leaking, I left the station and drove around instead of trying another of their awful pumps. I had washed underneath my RV at the car wash to get rid of any gasoline. Finally, I tried a normal gas station on the flat level ground, and 15 gallons went into my tank without a problem: my fuel gauge was fine. You will never get even close to filling up your tank at this station because of bad incline. On my way back I'd stopped by and told them that the real reason was the incline and not damaged fuel gauge - in response they got nasty and accusatory right away (turned out they know what's going on but don't warn customers), especially when I politely suggested to warn customers with a sticker or something and said that their attendant should not kept pumping, they yelled at me in response and started threatening. I've been completely shaken by the experience as I thought my RV was broken, would leak all gas out or would explode with me next to it, because of their negligent operation. They did not followed any safety procedures when that big poodle of gas leaked they just told me to start the RV soaked in gasoline and move it to another pump, I will not leave this alone.
