The birthday girl on the Pump It Up birthday throne.
    Emily L.

We came here for my nieces 4th birthday. She had been here before and was SO excited to be having her party at Pump It Up. Having never been here myself, I was excited to see what it was all about. When you arrive, you put your gift in a big rolling basket like they use in hotels for laundry. Once it's time for the party to start, you follow your party host into the first room of inflatables. My niece had the glow package so it was dark, but you could still see because of the black lights. The kids had a blast, the adults had a blast. There were adults in their 50s-60s having fun right next to the youngest party goer who is 3. The adults were talking about how much of a workout it is trying to climb the things and my brother-in-law got himself wedged in one of the blowup things, but my cousin got him out. The one thing I did NOT enjoy was when it's time to go to the next room, they abruptly flip on the lights and it's a shock for the eyes. A warning, or a dimmer switch to slowly bring them up would be great, but if that's the biggest problem, then it's not really a problem. So on to the second room... same experience with different inflatables. Adults having fun, kids having fun, black lights, sudden brightness at the end, moving on to the next room. In the third and final room, that's where you have food. Pizza was included and I must say the pizza was pretty good too. It was Buck's Pizza and I might just have to look into that. The Peppa Pig cake was super delicious too, but my sister made that herself lol. There is a big throne for the birthday girl and a TV mounted next to it where they display pictures that your party host takes during the play time. The kids enjoyed seeing their pictures on the TV and I would say this party was a success. Some of the adults were upset that my niece didn't get to open her presents in front of everyone at the party, but the kids didn't care. Also, when you think about it it's better this way. I'd rather the kids have more time and just take the gifts home to open them then for them to lose some play time for present opening. PLUS, when they open gifts there, they take the gifts out of the bags just for you to put them all back in the bags to take home. So I guess it doesn't really matter. I would definitely have a party here in the future. TL:DR - Three of my nieces that were able to make come (ages 4, 9, and 12) all had a great time. It's fun for kids. Fun for adults. Good pizza. Good times. Watch your eyes when the lights come on if you have a glow party. MUST WEAR SOCKS.

Great Place! Staff is super helpful and the facility is really clean! The fact that all of their parties are totally private is amazing!

What an interesting place! We were looking for place to kill some energy and this was the perfect…read moreplace. Upon entering we were greeted, paid ($25 for play, $5 arcade, slice of pizza, socks and a drink), stamped, and let in. The play space was jammed pack! Full of children and parents. All along the walls are large black chairs for parents to sit and watch their kids. I'm not gonna lie. This place is a lot and I wouldn't recommend this place to parents/ guardians younger than 4-5 y/o. It's hard for adults to see their kids unless they are in the "playground" with them. Which can be tight and awkward. All in all it's okay.

So we have been to The Play Space a few times and it's always been a lot of fun. If you are going…read moreinto any of the play areas, you will need socks to enter. They also put a stamp on everyone in your party's hand to make sure no one is leaving with anyone not in their immediate party. It was fun when my youngest was under a year old because they have a whole baby section that is blocked off from the rest of the play areas. It's gated and they have an attendant there making sure it's only babies and not older kids. It's really nice because this way the babies don't get hurt by older kids. The rest of the play space is an absolute free-for-all. There are slides, a ball pit, climbing areas, padded things to play on, pretend play areas and even an arcade. My oldest is over coming here, it's not really for teenagers, and my preteen is almost done here too. My 6-year-old still loves coming here, though. It's not too pricey either which is great. It does get crazy busy on the weekends. I have found that the best time to come is first thing in the morning when they first open.

They lost a star for closing over Spring Break, which is exactly when my daughter needed her class to get out of the house. Also, they do birthday parties, but they don't have enough slots for demand. My daughter requested her bday party here and even though I called 3 weeks ahead of time, they didn't have any openings that weekend (the weekend after Spring Break was over). Bummer.

I really wanted to love this place. I have 3 kids I wanted to enroll in gymnastics here, but after…read moregoing to open gym, I am going to look elsewhere. Here were the problems: 1. $10 for an hour of play is pretty steep. It should be $10 for 1 1/2 or 2 hours. But then they made the kids stop playing and put their shoes on when there was still 5 minutes left to play. This was especially frustrating because the price is already pretty high. 2. They divided the kids up into a baby room and a kid room, and the rooms are completely separate. This made it unnecessarily difficult for those of us with a kid in each age group and limited my ability to interact with my kids in this space. When I asked if I my 3 year old could stay in the kid room if I was there I was no a very stern NO. 3. They kept telling the little kids they could only jump on the trampolines going one direction. Which would make sense if there were other kids waiting to use the equipment or it was a structured play time. But that wasn't the case, and the unhelpful and bossy employees were annoying. 4. My younger child kept falling on the trampoline and when I got on the trampoline to help him and show him how to bounce I was told I wasn't allowed on any of the equipment. So I wasn't allowed to help my child have a safe and enjoyable experience. It was frustrating. 5. My older child came to me at the end frustrated that the employees wouldn't help the kids use the equipment in the larger kid area and that the employees were really bossy. I wasn't in the big section, so I didn't see this first hand, but it was consistent with what I saw in the little kid section. We won't be going back.
