Pumbaa Lot with Tower of Terror in the background

When Disneyland Resort or the Orange County/City of Anaheim has an event, you know there will be a lot of craziness in the area. Most people will be going to Mickey & Friends for guaranteed parking, but, of course, the freeway will be backlogged with cars. Normally, I would park at Toy Story, but events such as CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County) Walk going on, the overflow lots open. Let's park at worry free (Hakuna Matata) at Pumbaa Parking Lot. This lot is not always open. This is considered the overflow lot of Disneyland Resort. You can find the Pumbaa Lot across the Anaheim Garden Walk on Disney/Hotel Way between Harbor and Clementine. If there is an event going on, please note that this parking lot can fill up very fast. There is only one booth with two attendants. With that description alone, you will know that parking can go fast and be moved to other areas such as the Anaheim Convention Center. Parking prices are the same with the other lots. There is no special price for parking here. Please check the Disneyland website on the prices. Like Toy Story Parking Lot, there will be shuttle buses to take you to/from Disneyland. However, since Pumbaa Lot is not a lot normally used everyday, there are no designs on the bus signifying that the bus is going to Pumbaa Lot. The buses do not look like Toy Story Buses, they are just simple white buses. When you do go back to the parking lot, please make sure you do not go to Toy Story since the Pumbaa Parking Lot loading area is in the other side with the Anaheim GardenWalk loading area. It was a nice, but weird change to parking here. I believe I have parked at most Disney sites. With the 60th Disney Anniversary coming, I know my options and forecast of what Disney may do for the future of parking locations on the increasing attendance to Disneyland. Could there be another Mickey & Friends Parking structure? You know that is a BIG "YES!!" You think I write too much? Well, you can call me a Yelp-O-Holic!

Best parking lot ever. Very close if you want to walk. Consistent shuttles with plenty of room.

"Employee Parking only", delayed our visit to Disneyland and annoyed my entire family.

In the past I've had to wait in line for the tram that goes to Mickey and friends lot for a very long time.

There's no bad parking spot even when parked at the furthest spot. Remember, if you get here before noon they will check your bags at the parking lot and you can enter directly into the park. If not, they will check them at the park. I think it makes the process a little quicker. Recently, they changed buses and I don't like it. They're not as comfortable, they're old, and the level of professionalism is different. I'm going to be mindful though that this is a recent change and they're still working out the kinks. Like today for example, they didn't harness all the wheelchairs before inviting the other guest on the bus so then people had to move when they didn't expect it. It was a crammed mess temporarily. For people needing to change littles or use the restroom before you head home, there's a restroom conveniently located near the entrance for the bus. They even have two family restrooms which is nice when you have disabled children or just children in general.

i prefer this lot over the pixar pal/mickey and friends parking garage!!…read more pros: - much easier to get in the lot compared to the other garage - shorter security literally - drop off is closer to the gates - line to get back on the bus is shorter than tram cons: - $40 (same as the other lot) - much smaller than a tram - may need to stand if busy - i believe it takes longer to get to drop-off spot vs tram

When leaving I stop at the parking lot attendant and she was extremely rude. She say $17 I was like we just came here to eat. By the way lunch $20.47 parking $17 WOW. She was so RUDE not sure her name but I'm sure in reading reviews it's the one girl that starts with a C. She said show me the receipt I said ok I pulled up my bank app to show her, she would accept it. Obviously management doesn't address this. We won't be coming back to eat there. She was in the booth all the way to the right as your leaving.

We requested a manager to approve our ticket to exit for $10 as we didn't want to pay $65 for a lost ticket and we dined at din tai fung, as we waited for over 30 minutes, our daughter had to use the restroom so my wife asked the girl how much longer it would be and she proceeded to be rude and just say "they are coming" my wife asked how long, she replied "idk, however long they take" my wife replied well I can't wait much longer my daughter has to use the restroom, at which the girl replied "when then she shouldn't have lost the ticket" My daughter is 3 years old, I am so upset that a Disneyland worker would insult our daughter and my wife in this manner. This type of behavior is disgusting. I knew right when we pulled up to the window and seen this girls face that we were not going to have a good time but I would have never thought she would just blantly insult my wife and daughter. I write this message so the appropriate repimandation can be done because even if customers of Disneyland have an issue like this, workers should try and find a resolution, not insult and get into a back and forth arguing match. I have never seen somebody act so mean over a parking ticket I swear, this is not how Disneyland workers should conduct themselves Also to note and to make matters way worse there was other attendants there laughing at us, such as a older man with glasses, and another girl to the far right end of where we were at, she would smirk and smile at us while we were visibly upset. We ended up paying $35 to exit once we talked to the manager named Courtney who threatened to call the police on us if we didnt pay, this lady was also extremely rude. We asked her for the first girls name and she refused to give it to us, she said she has hundreds of workers and said she didn't know who we were talking about. I KNOW RIGHT. Thought I was done? Nope. Security also arrived for some reason, it was a man with shades, he walked up to my wife and stared at her through our window, she asked if she could help him, he said no, she then replied okay why are you standing her staring at me, he then replied, I just wanted to get your side of the story, my wife replied why are you the manager, he replied no I am in a different department but mine is coming, she then replied "what does that mean" then he just walked away while staring at us. This encounter was just bizarre and confusing, it was almost as if he was trying to intimidate us but just looked foolish in our opinion. but the main reason for this complaint is due to how the first girl treated us, she was out of line. I didn't catch her name but she was a small petite latina girl who looked very sad and tired, this is honestly just the best description I can give so you can narrow this down and let us know what the next steps are. This whole ordeal was just extremely unprofessional and insane to be honest, everybody was rude to us. I've never seen something like this before in my life.

Most people park here because they think it's for the movies but in actually, anyone can park here. I went to go eat at a resturant, stopped by the bank and taking my time, enjoying the breeze while I watch the sunset on the top parking lot floor. You'll be surprised but you don't have to fight for parking on the first floor for safety. I passed so many cars parked along the 3 floors I drove thru to get to the top and it's still half full up here. There's also a working elevator, if your feeling too lazy to walk down the stairs. Plus I'd rather park here than on Downey St, especially when people are crossing to get to the clubs and what not. Edit : Forgot to mention but this can be alternative parking for going to the restaurants across Firestone. I mean, who really wants to park their car so close to other cars that you have to safely get in and out of it without hitting them. Nuh uh, I'd rather park here and walk a few mins over instead. But that's just me.
