Respira lung clinic 15353, 97 STREET, EDMONTON, I finaly won to get a referral to do a PFT test since I have been dealing with worsening breathing and neuromuscular issues for years that has reduced my quality of life to none as a single mom. I told the technician I was there to once and for all get the proof that I have real breathing difficulties so that my gp does something about it. I truly did my very best effort in that box and couldnt execute a satisfactory result for the machine, the technician made me redo the test, again, again, again, again, again dozens of times if not more, for a whole hour trying again, my friend told me he was starting to be really concerned because my face was blue when I finaly got the machine to say I past and the technician allowed me to stop AFTER AN HOUR. I then met the respirologist who told me I successfully past AND THAT MY PFT WAS COMPLETELY NORMAL. My friend asked the Dr; ''UM do yo ueven see on the report the 17 times she failed or only the 2 times she succeded?'' SHE SAID: ''NO, I only see that she past it and thats all that matters'' Are ufucking kidding me ??? This is literally life endangerment, There needs to be criminal charges against the people working there, manufacturing results to look normal to make sure I do not get help for my breathing problem is something only a psychopath would do. Definitely going as far as its gonna need to go to get justice for that fraudulent INVALIDE test result that could COST ME MY LIFE NOW. read more

Needed to purchase a replacement mask and some supplies for a CPAP machine. Reception staff were unprofessional and made multiple errors with my invoice and provided me with the wrong mask. Wish there were alternatives in Edmonton for this service. It is also very challenging to get an appointment. read more

Was in today 1/20 at about 1 PM with a full face mask that I had broken the clip for the head gear on. Not only were the whole staff at the front counter exceptionally helpful and pleasant they went well beyond in helping with a fix for my mask and could not have asked or hoped for any better care from them. My experience at PulseAir yesterday was excellent. My appointment was on time and proceeded smoothly. I received an Echocardiogram, administered by George. He was professional, courteous and I was confident in his abilities. The front desk staff person was polite and efficient and I would not hesitate to return to PulseAir. read more

tried to call to see about ordering supplies...none of the options helped and ended up hanging up....this is terrible service ....I think I will try to find another office that provides the same info and maybe their service will be better. I was told I could try another type of head gear for my CPAP machine and if it didn't work I could get a refund...only that didn't happen. When it didn't really work that well and I returned it, I had to fight with the receptionist to get the $200 credit added to my file....if I hadn't objected and insisted it be recorded, I don't think I would have gotten it. Now I need supplies and feel obligated to go there but it will have to be in person because I can't get any one on the phone...such a poor operation 1 read more

Very unfriendly and rude staff at the reception, even they don't bother to reply to your greeting however the technician is nice and happy to answer your question. Not sure whether this is the one place but if you have another place choose for another. Doesn't recommend it at all, it looks like management doesn't care because you can see a lot of complaints regarding the rude behaviour from the staff at the reception. read more

Dr Bhandari did not follow-up or book tests that were needed. I took the initiative to get the requisition from his office, booked the tests and booked a phone follow-up, which he did not fill. I called for results and was told there were none. Not a good place to go. read more

I came here to pick up a Sleep Study test machine and return it later on. The staff were quite helpful in completing my questionnaire and the explain the process to complete a sleep study at home. I got the impression that they sell/promote the use of CPAP machines but also that these machines are really quite useful if apnea is indeed diagnosed for a patient (they came close to promoting it even if a patient doesn't have apnea which seemed a bit bizarre to me, but I'm not a doctor, certainly not one that specializes in sleep issues). I didn't have to wait long. This location is a bit out of the way and the buses to this area aren't always terribly reliable (I missed some connections getting to and from this location), but there is ample parking. read more

My son was referred to PulseAir by a family doctor. After having his machine for a short period of time, his mask broke. I took it in for a replacement. Due to PulseAir only having a 30 day warranty on their products, I had to purchase a new one at $200. I was fine with that until I found out that AdvancedAir in SherwoodPark has a 90 day warranty on the same products. So I would highly recommend AdvancedAir in SherwoodPark. Also, I found the staff at PuseAir not very customer oriented like AdvancedAir. I took my son to AdvancedAir today. His first response when we left was "Wow the staff actually listened to me in what I had to say, not what they wanted to sell me". So if you can get out to AdvanceAir, I would recommend them over PuseAir. This is the first review I have ever written but felt the need to warn people about how one money grabbing companies warranty can vary so much from another company. Buyer beware!!!!!! read more

Would give negative stars if possible. Registered my Dad and husbands machines right when recall happened. we were told we would get a call when new machines came in. We kept calling and calling and kept getting told they weren't in even though other people we knew had theirs. Posted a poor review and had a call that day. Went and got new machines, they had no problem having me leave with my Dad's machine knowing he was having 37+ apneas ON cpap saying "he needs bipap" giving absolutely no direction. I called them incompetent (my husband was there). Within 15 minutes, I got an email banning me from coming there. Then they try reaching out to my parents to make an appointment knowing I'm the one that takes care of everything due to my dad's health. Then my brother goes to get his new machine and they said that he doesn't get a new machine, he gets a new part not a new machine. Philips confirmed that Pulse Air received new machines to exchange for recalled machines but wouldn't give one to my brother. Go here at your own risk. I am a patient of Dr. Kam Birdi. He is a very caring and dedicated gentleman. Prior to seeing doctor Birdi I had been using a CPAP for several years. My last sleep study was done at the Edmonton General 4 or 5 years ago. The reason I see doctor Birdi is that an MRI determined I have a lung problem. As a result I have had regular breathing tests and chest Xrays. Recently I had the sleep study at home since my old CPAP is on its last leg. I have never had any appointment at this facility where I have not been treated with diplomacy and respect. read more

PulseAir is a great place for sleep apnea treatment. I was there recently getting a new machine after 5 years. I was helped by Ashleigh Peterson who was knowledgeable and helpful. We haven't gotten to the clinic. We have had 2 appointments cancelled. My husband has been coughing blood a lot since February of 2019. We were lucky and got a family doctor in Leduc. He had X-ray and was referred for a CT scan. That happened in June. We finally got an appointment at the lung clinic for September 26. An hour before the appointment it was cancelled due to Dr. emergency. A new appointment was booked for October 10. Today that appointment was cancelled with no date for new appointment yet. The staff seem to be trying to accommodate but it's very frustrating. read more

I would give them no stars at all. I went for an appointment and the young girl doing the lung test was rude and acted as though she was more qualified than the doctor. I saw Dr. Bhandari and he was pleasant but offered little except trying to push the CPAP machine. The so-called follow up was phone calls pushing a "free" trial of the machine and one call while I was away from the doctor. I called the office several times and spoke to the woman pressuring me on the free trial. Called back to book with the doctor, and I was "discharged" for not calling back...but I had been on the phone with their office several times!! Apparently if you are not interested in purchasing their equipment they aren't interested in helping you. High handed, rude and not helpful. A money grab for sure. read more

I am a new patient at PulseAir and a patient of Dr. Bhandari. The care and concern that I received from all the staff was polite, warm and welcoming. The Technician that did my breathing test was very friendly and helpful and chatted with me through the whole test. Dr. Bhandari was extremely pleasant and at no time acted rushed or disinterested. He answered all my questions about COPD in a direct and honest way. Very nice man that I would recommend to anyone experiencing breathing problems. read more

This clinic is horrible. If there's any way for you to be seen elsewhere please take my advice and do it. They are unreliable and cancel appointments at the last minute after months of waiting. They also do not follow up after you've undergone tests that require your results to be reviewed. STEER CLEAR. read more
