I really appreciated Dr. Andruchow's knowledge and patience with me. There was often a parking spot close to the clinic and it was free too. The seating area has about 6 or 7 seats and it's never so busy that every seat is taken. The rooms have magazines but I never wait long to see the doctor. Her front staff would call me to remind me of appointments and also when they would book my ultrasounds. There was confusion once when the staff didn't know where I wanted to book it even though I was going to the same lab for the last few years and I booked my appointment myself. The staff seemed to have changed over the years but overall they are alright.

There is sanitizer all over the place so this was also reassuring. After my first appointment with Gordon Grant, I knew I'd come to the right place. I I had been feeling run down and depressed and immediately after I noticed an improvement in my energy levels. But the big thing I noticed was my mood was better. It was if I had been in the dark and now the sun was shining again. It was pricey, but worth it to feel so much better. I connected with Gord on a personal level too, as we are both gardeners, a bit eccentric in our views and in favour of alternative wholistic practices.

Recommended for anyone who needs specific pain management but you do need a referral with a requisition from your doctor for a specific reason.

The only downside to this Medicentre is the staff. They aren't very good at communicating and come off as very rude. It's worth it though for the doctor's.

There's a Sobey's and Starbucks on the main floor which is convenient to grab a drink or bite to eat before waiting what could be a while for your appointment. The Starbucks gets busy first thing in the morning but the line up moved pretty quick. There are 4 elevators so it's never a long wait to go up or down. There's also 3 comfortable chairs in the lobby close to the security desk. I have found that the washrooms are just one large stall on each floor but two sinks. The offices are nice and in the one I was at on the 20th floor, it had big windows and a great view north of the building. Something to look down at while having to wait for an appointment.

Don't forget to keep your entry ticket as the only place to pay is inside the building. The building is clean and bright, although the stairwells fit one person only and the stairs themselves are built for tiny feet. In the building, you'll find a Sobey's, Kopio Coffee, a CIBC, a Pita place, Funky Pickle (pizza), a hair salon, a liquor store, the Department of Family Medicine (UofA), the office of the Association of Academic Staff of the University of Alberta, a dynalife blood/urine lab, a pulmonology office with the ability to do complete lung functions, an x-ray location (MIC), and I'm sure a bunch of other equally important places.
