There is free parking right behind the building and is easy to walk to from the downtown area. The inside is much bigger than their previous location. This allows for more seating inside. There's something special about a place that can remain part of your life for that long. On this visit I went with the chili (which is a must with cheese and crackers), pickle fries and regular fries, and everything hit the spot. You can still come to Ray's, get plenty of good food, and leave feeling like you got your money's worth. Ray's has been a Kent institution for a reason. The staff are never overly friendly, but the member working the drive thru Wednesday 23 June at 9:19 am was downright rude. No "hi", snatched my card out of my hand... ug. I am in the service industry and I ALWAYS over tip... in this instance she got zilch. If they are all set unhappy it makes you wonder how the company treats its employees. read more
