Very cute coffee shop that also sells books. Lots of options for caffeine drinks as well as pasties and some bites. The staff is attentive and friendly as soon as you walk in. The place is cozy, small but feels big with enough space, different kinds of seating arrangements with small tables with chairs and benches with pillows. Very modern. Paid street parking available but you can park in the plaza behind it for free with plenty of parking options. Prices are pretty average.

Sweet eclectic coffee shop. They have a small book store inside too. It's a great spot to hang out and the staff is eager to help and super sweet. I had avocado toast on sourdough with the chili flakes. It's served with a wedge of lemon and a small mound of some kind of special salt- so great. Lots and lots of perfectly ripe avocado (how do they manage that??) and the bread is delish! Good coffee too

Super cute coffee, juice, and bookstore. Food is delicious. I tried the avocado toast and an açaí bowl and both were awesome. For drinks we had a matcha latte and a hibiscus iced tea. The vibe is great with books available to buy. They also have a kids menu and a little kid sitting area. Definitely recommend!!!

First of all the place is pure Tenerife vibes which we love. The place was backed but we were lucky enough to find parking and then some seats. We ordered our drinks with the sweetest guy ever . Danny let us know they were our of a couple baked goods but we ended up getting this yummy apple strudel. We also ordered the churro and flan latte and they were FABULOUS. Seriously 0 complaints. Has to be the best combination of sweet and strong. I know this might be slightly weird maybe not but the best bathroom I've visited ever. First of all theres a fountain in there.... Crazy love that. Second of all there is a sound machine letting out sounds of seagulls and the ocean. Like how perfect is that! Truly felt transported. The design is really beautiful, and I appreciated the laptop vs. non-laptop zone. What made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, though, was the service. Every single person in line ahead of me was greeted warmly. I even heard the cashier having a conversation with a customer about college and how exciting it'll be, which I thought was really sweet. Service is an energetically taxing job, so seeing someone be that warm and engaging with every person made me feel like I was about to have a great experience too. The second I walked up? She didn't look me in the eye once. I greeted her, asked how she was, and got a very boilerplate response that, in tone, felt like "please hurry up and give me your order." It was jarring, especially after seeing how warm she had been with everyone else. I wasn't looking for a full conversation, but from the moment I said hello, I felt like I was bothering her. I left feeling noticeably unwelcome in comparison to everyone before me. The drink I had was okay, which matters, but honestly, how a place makes you feel matters more. I'm sure this review is a drop in the ocean, but it's something I'll definitely be sharing with friends and family if they're considering trying Porfa.

I work nearby, so I just strolled in during my lunch break for a little midday pick-me-up. The staff is pleasant and helpful. My only suggestion is to perhaps have an allergens list for the individual baked goods. I tried to ask the staff about whether some of the treats contained nuts (in particular, the s'mores bar, and the chocolate chip cookie) as I have a peanut allergy (tree nuts are okay). There was a bit of a language barrier and the staff seemed unsure, and tried to err on the side of caution (which I appreciate). However, knowing that a s'mores bar or a chocolate chip cookie is unlikely to contain actual peanuts, I was a little frustrated because it would have been okay for me personally if it was simply that the baked goods were "processed in a factory that manufactures peanut products". Those trace amounts normally don't affect me. I feel like this was likely the case, but again, I'm glad that they just proceeded with an abundance of caution. I settled for a cheese danish even though I was really after a chocolate craving. Good on the staff for being cautious, disappointing for me that I couldn't cater to my chocolate craving. Oh well. I also ordered a Get Green smoothie, which was refreshing and delicious. The coconut water makes it super hydrating. Whether you're staying at the Del Mar hotel or just work nearby and want a little treat, this spot is a great place to stop in.

Opened since the 1970's and French inspired. Cute and stylish place to go. Either sit down service or take out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was quick. The latte and croissant was to die for. So many pastries to choose from that it's difficult to pick. I love the neon sign on the wall that says "Meet me by the grinds." There even was a champagne vending machine to buy small bottles. Wine bar located in the back. Attached is a beautiful floral store to buy flowers and other items. What a cozy and unique place to go. I will definitely be back next time I am in that neighborhood.

One side is the floral shop and the other side is the coffee bar. The entrance to the coffee bar where you place your order is way too small for the amount of traffic flow they have coming in and out. I felt like I was in the way no matter where I went. The employee taking our order was not the nicest and definitely was overwhelmed. This isn't a regular coffee shop where you can place your order to go and still drink your coffee or hang around. We were told If we were not eating or drinking at the coffee bar you will not be able to sit down. Ordered two iced lattes and two empanadas. Coffee was okay but the empanadas were really good!
