The thing to remember here is that the word 'Budget' is clearly stated in the name of this hotel…read more If you're looking for a 4-5 star hotel with hot and cold running everything, then this isn't the place for you. On the plus side - the location is awesome. Right alongside Olympic Park and ANZ Stadium; the staff are reasonably attentive; there's a coffee machine on most floors; the rooms are ...... well ok, let's talk about the rooms shall we? (It's a budget hotel Bruce - remember?). When I opened the door to room 525 I thought that I'd accidentally opened the broom cupboard. There were 2 beds. On wheels. Which slid away from the walls every time you went near it. The shower was a small (miniscule) cubicle area that anyone of larger stature would have trouble in. The toilet was even smaller. In fact so small that there was barely enough room for me to ........ write this review. I guess that if yr looking for somewhere to simply rest your weary head after a long hard day - then this would just (only just) suffice. If you're out to impress a date - save your money and find somewhere under the stars to pitch your tent. Far more romantic. ......

This is as stated in the name a budget hotel. So everything…read moreis very basic. We didn't spend much time at the hotel so it didn't really bother us. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I was expecting much, much less. The room was equipped with a split system air conditioner so the minimal bedding isn't so bad. It was quite warm and humid whilst we were staying at the hotel so I grabbed my partners Boost Juice Loyalty card and stuck it in the electricity activator thing so the A/C would remain on whilst we were out We were accompanying my partners younger sister and friend to a concert (I don't know.. Some teenage boy band) so we had a 4 person room which comprised of a double bed and single bunk beds -even then there was not much room. Don't expect much privacy whilst utilising the in room as amenities as there is no bathroom door.. There is a curtain that closes off the room so you can shower and get dressed in the rooms doorway. Imagine a hospital curtain. The shower wasn't too bad - I've paid a lot more for a whole lot worse! Water was hot and pressure/water volume was good. The toilet is very small and there is no air flow/exhaust fan so it's hot. So get in and get out! At the end of it all we simply stayed here as my partners sister said she wanted to pay her share and it is what the young ones could afford - it worked out to be $36/night per person within 10minutes walk to the concert venue.. Who could complain?!

My daughters treasured the pool and entertainment options around and we really loved the breakfast…read moreat Novotel. As it was my first time to Sydney I also appreciated the help from reception to find my way around town, they explained public transport options and were always there when our family needed anything. We accidentally forgot to bring a luggage piece when checking out. I informed the management staff who assured me they'd do everything to find the luggage and have it returned to us. The rooms are state of the art with large flatscreen TVs and a lot of options to watch. Cleanliness was superior to other hotels in the same price class. Overall I'd only suggest that the checkout times can be improved, we had to wait in line for 10-15 minutes but I suppose that can happen. Thanks for a great stay @Novotel Sydney :)

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip. It was not my first choice but it was closest to my…read moreworkplace. Price was reasonable, but everything about the hotel was pretty sub-par or below. Rooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. I noticed that the hallways are pretty dated and could use some up keeping. The carpets were all lined with dust on the edges which is pretty gross; it wouldn't hurt to steam clean the carpet every once in awhile. The elevators were quite annoying; extremely slow and one was always broken. Average wait time for an elevator is about 15 minutes. I had the breakfast buffet one day and it was pretty average, your standard eggs and sausage. The next day I ordered eggs Benedict which I'm not sure how they make their hollandaise sauce but it was like eating pure mayo. I would suggest skipping meals a this hotel and just go to a nearby cafe/restaurant (which there was plenty of).

Close to Sydney Olympic Park, and within walking distance of Massey Park Golf Course, Hotel Concord…read moreis a great spot to unwind and have a quick drink on a Friday afternoon. The recently refurbished establishment isn't the type of place you would want to spend all day in, but it has its charms, and in my opinion, is a lot better than some of the other pubs around Concord (but then again, that isn't saying much!). Facilities offered at Hotel Concord include: * TAB * Bottle-shop * Accommodation- rooms start from $60 for a single room, up to $160 for the family room (four single beds, one sofa bed). * Reasonably priced bistro meals (the $11 Big Beef Burger is pretty good). * Fox and Sky channels * Juke box * Public phone (how rare are those nowadays?) * EFTPOS facilities ($20 minimum) and an A.T.M. * Hotel shuttle boat offering transport between Cabarita and Circular Quay. * Wednesday Night Trivia from 7pm onwards. * Thursday Night Poker from 5pm-9pm. $2000 prize money. * Pokies
