The Amish market also has a donut shop that is wonderful. Each donut is 2.00 and they are made all day long. Open Thursday thru Saturday. There are cheese and cold cut vendors. The Shops at Boardman Park is by far one of the best plazas in Boardman…read more This shopping center offers a wide variety of stores, some fast food and casual dining options, and entertainment attractions including a discount movie theater, live bands/car shows/events occasionally held at Quaker Steak & Lube and The Casual Pint, and a convenient location right next to the Boardman Park! My favorite places to go in this plaza are Target, Starbucks (inside Target), ULTA Beauty, The Salon at ULTA, Kohl's, Panera, Rise Pies, and The Vitamin Shoppe. I'll sometimes venture into other stores as well. The only complaint I really have is the parking lot, which could be organized to keep traffic flowing much better than it currently is. Be prepared for tons of traffic in this plaza, especially on weekends. There are some vacant retail spaces right now, and I'm hoping they will keep filling up as they have been recently. I think this plaza could really benefit from a good restaurant or a grocery store. Overall, I would recommend shopping here. It's a convenient location in the center of Boardman. There are lots of great options here for everyone, and it's beautiful having the park scenery right in the background within walking distance!

I wish other small business owners in New Castle had their understanding of the importance of merchandising...the store is well laid out, and attractive. Their items are lovely--unlike some of the local junk stores that call themselves 'antique' stores. I frequently pop in because they get new things in regularly. I learned a lesson about this place: If you see something you like, get it. I waited a couple days before making a decision and the item I wanted was sold when I went back. When my folks moved here from out of town, I was able to furnish their entire apartment with beautiful *real* furniture from North Hill Antiques. Their prices are generally reasonable; some are out of my budget-zone...but, they seem to know the value of the pieces. And, they will deliver if you are nearby.

There is home décor and even jewelry!! Volant Mills: What a great place to explore.. several floors to browse and my favorite was the top floor which provided history of the mills!! So amazing!! I recommend checking out. I purchased actual "pumpkin spice" here and an antique tray and a cool t-shirt with a tree on it. We spent the most time in this store. Returns are - instore credit only.
