Got here at ten minutes to 11am and everyone was already packing up to leave. Not worth the time to drive all the way out here.

Absolute gem of a business. I'm from the West Coast and have never seen anything like this. My only…read moreexposure to the Amish, call me ignorant if you must, was through literature, movies, shows, and word of mouth. This as my first time visiting this area and I can't wait to visit again if inly for The Amish Market! What a lovely place to spend a weekend morning. We had a couple of coffees: delicious. I had a fresh out off of the oven pepperoni Stromboli: magical. I ordered two dozen individual pies from the bakery for Thanksgiving and they were the star of the show. 10 out of 10 would recommend coming here. I halfway joked to my girlfriend that if this was in my neighborhood or if I lived next to one of these that I would be here every weekend, buying fresh eggs, bacon, and coffee. 10/10

We also ordered a cheeseburger as we heard they were absolutely incredible. The wrap was filled with fresh vegetables it was yummy. The cheeseburger comes with fresh hot thin French fries that were so yummy. The burger comes with pickles and mustard and ketchup you can ask for them not to put it on. It was perfectly cooked and the flavor was absolutely on point. The Amish market also has a donut shop that is wonderful. Each donut is 2.00 and they are made all day long. Open Thursday thru Saturday. There are cheese and cold cut vendors. Furniture and custom leather belts and hats. They have a place you can purchase dips for fruit and veggies and they make up beautiful trays daily. Homemade stuffed pretzels with everuthing from breakfast items inside them to just cheese. Fresh cup up fruit and veggies. Every kind of prepped salad you CAN think of. Veggies who veggies sliced. Fruit whole fruit sliced. The best place to find goodies for the weekend. Fresh meats to buy and take home and cook. Ready to eat prepped foods to eat there or take home. A shop for spices and wonderful things to use in the kitchen. This place also has a section where you can buy homemade fresh baked cookies cakes pies, breads. So much here to look at. Candy too.

The Shops at Boardman Park is by far one of the best plazas in Boardman…read more This shopping center offers a wide variety of stores, some fast food and casual dining options, and entertainment attractions including a discount movie theater, live bands/car shows/events occasionally held at Quaker Steak & Lube and The Casual Pint, and a convenient location right next to the Boardman Park! My favorite places to go in this plaza are Target, Starbucks (inside Target), ULTA Beauty, The Salon at ULTA, Kohl's, Panera, Rise Pies, and The Vitamin Shoppe. I'll sometimes venture into other stores as well. The only complaint I really have is the parking lot, which could be organized to keep traffic flowing much better than it currently is. Be prepared for tons of traffic in this plaza, especially on weekends. There are some vacant retail spaces right now, and I'm hoping they will keep filling up as they have been recently. I think this plaza could really benefit from a good restaurant or a grocery store. Overall, I would recommend shopping here. It's a convenient location in the center of Boardman. There are lots of great options here for everyone, and it's beautiful having the park scenery right in the background within walking distance!

Volant, PA is so charming!!! What a great day we had exploring all the shops…read more Parking was a breeze - spacious parking lot available. Credit cards accepted in all the shops we visited. We were limited on time so I couldn't explore all the shops but here's some feedback on the shops we did visit. Oak Creek Creations: My favorite shop - purchased several items here. Conveniently located near the parking lot. Pricing was fair - compared to the other shops and I loved the selection!! We spend the most time in this shop and will no doubt be returning. There is home décor and even jewelry!! Volant Mills: What a great place to explore.. several floors to browse and my favorite was the top floor which provided history of the mills!! So amazing!! I recommend checking out. I purchased actual "pumpkin spice" here and an antique tray and a cool t-shirt with a tree on it. We spent the most time in this store. Returns are - instore credit only. Kitchen Shoppe: Super cute store with items for your kitchen and coffee too!! I was able to get my favorite - shot in the dark (coffee with expresso). I purchased a beautiful handmade wooden cutting board here. Bottled pop was available too. Wicked Little Witches: Cute store. We didn't stay long since they were under construction but a lot of cool items to browse. A lot of handmade purses and cool home décor. Volant PA is just an amazing place and only an hour drive from Pittsburgh.
