Perfect spot to rent a hobie car sailboat for an hour on Fort Pond. Remember they are cash-only! You can leave your essentials at the front desk with he friendly staffer. We had no trouble getting one mid-day Friday, and the weather cooperates with a nice wind. $50 might seem steep, but it was worth it for the 3 of us to get out on the water and for my daughter to learn how to captain. The dude at the dock made sure my wife could control the boat and gave us a little guidance, then we were on our way to some light sailing fun. Most boat rentals in Montauk seem to be for bigger or motorized craft, so look for what suits you. read more

A hole in one for family fun. A great way to wind down after the beach! A challenging course- watch the lips!

I don't know what my life has come to that I am reviewing a mini golf place but whatever here it goes... Not much to do in the offseason in Montauk so my wife and I hit up some mini golf. This is fun spot next to the water and it will give you an hour of fun when you need it. It was only $10 to play and it was a great time. The 18th hole is not a hole you cant keep score on it so make sure to beat your competition in the first 17. There were some challenging holes and it is a place that is a good for kids if you have them. Come check it out! read more

Being a mini golf enthusiast, I had low expectations of this place. I was wrong! The place was clean, organized, and had a nice view of the pond. The flow of the game went nicely, and they had some fun courses. The one downside is that they have a very small arcade in the upstairs building, and there were unfortunately no pinball machines. Overall though, a good place to drop $10 per person per game, it's a good attraction for the money, and they should keep the price reasonable like this to keep people coming back. read more

Mini golf was cute- very clean. Place advertises arcade and there was maybe 2 games working. Just wanted to give anyone bringing kids a heads up so they don't look forward to it. Years ago when we brought our kids the arcade was a nice distraction on a rainy day. read more

Rented a pedal boat from here while on vacation. It was so much fun !! Only $40 for an hour and we got to pedal all around Fort Pond. Staff was very friendly and the owner even let us borrow his watch so we would know when our hour was up & needed to come back. I'm still kicking myself for not bringing my cell phone because we could have taken some really great shots, I was too afraid I would drop it in the water though LOL They don't accept credit or debit so be sure to bring CASH ONLY CASH ONLY CASH ONLY!!!!! There is an ATM on premises or next door at the 7-11 read more

What does one do when they have some time to kill during their time spent in Montauk? They play mini-golf, of course! We decided to go here since it was so close to our motel and we didn't have much else to do at the moment. Their mini-golf course is very nice and has some fun little characteristics. After some photo opps and almost completing the course, we got to the last hole and our friend scored a hole in one, which won us a free game! I think we'll be holding onto that little slip of paper for our next Montauk visit. They also have paddle boats and a game room upstairs if you don't want to hit a ball into a hole. read more

Went here with my little brother (he's 12, I'm in my twenties) and we both had an amazing time. We seriously forgot about our phones for two hours straight. Great place in the heart of Montauk to spend your weekend. It's right by the water and so charming. We even bought a T-shirt! Will be back soon. Staff is awesome! Thanks for the great time. :) read more

After 20 years of coming to this fine establishment me and my family have always received top notch service and an exquisite experience filled with life long memories I will always cherish. Not only is the staff wonderful the holes are maintained very well and not tattered and beaten like other mini golf places in the area. The boat rental service is always helpful and friendly. The workers make sure every boat is scrubbed and clean! Not only that but the workers give clear and easy instructions on how to have a blast but also be safe! In the 20 years I've visited I feel like I am family and would recommend to anyone in The Hamptons to visit. read more

This place is amazing! The highlight of our vacation! Me and my family came here because we saw they had canoes for rent. The lady at the front desk was super nice and told us all of the different things they had for rent besides the canoes. We walked back to the dock and saw the sailboats which looked like a lot of un. The guy who works here explained everything to us in great detail about renting a sail, and was extremely informative. After some contemplation, we decided that we were going to try sailing on one of the catamarans for the first time. Since there was a wait, we went to the hotel to change, and then came back dressed appropriately to go into the water. We also brought cash since they do not accept credit cards, however they do have an ATM on premise. They older gentleman who works here took the time to give me a lesson on how to operate the sail. He did a fantastic job on explaining to me exactly how to operate it. After my lesson, my family go on board and we went sailing for an hour on the lake. We had such a blast on the lake, it was truly the best experience we had on our 2 day vacation in Montauk. Do yourself a favor and visit this business if you are in the area. They are so friendly and informative that you won't regret it! read more

Beautiful spot on the water to play a quick game of mini golf. 10$ a person and 18 holes. Beware some of the parking rules of changed in the area. We were able to find street parking right across. read more

September 16th and shit down for season during the week already even though there are hundreds of people still coming out here! Interesting business model for a mini golf in a location that won't see anyone all Winter long, you'd think they'd want to make as much money as possible before it gets cold. read more

I went here on July 4th to rent a paddle boat (I can't comment on the mini golf). They were surprisingly not crowded given the day, and we were quickly served and set up with a boat. I thought the price was a little outrageous but given where we were it was to be expected. The view wasn't spectacular, and I think there are better places on Long Island to go boating with much nicer scenery but it was still a nice way to kill an hour. read more

Me and my girlfriend came to Montauk to celebrate our 6 year anniversary and we came across this place. Walked up to the counter and literally just stood there for 3 full minutes while the guy looked at his phone. There was a lady at the counter, too. She was on the phone with a customer when we first walked up, and that's fine, but after the phone call, she looked at me and just looked away. We eventually just walked away. We have a funny story now but I'd definitely never recommend this place to anyone. PS- I wasn't being silent. It was very obvious that I was standing there read more

This is a perfect stop in Montauk! If you're looking for classic fun, this is the place to go. With simple yet challenging 18 holes, you're sure to find yourself in the competitive spirit. If you're looking for a boat rental, this is the perfect place! Sailboats, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and pedal boats - even if you're a beginner, there are friendly staff at the docks to teach you all you need to know. Fort Pond is an enclosed lake, so beginners don't have to worry about currents or losing their way. Had an excellent experience all around, between the staff, the course and sailboat rental. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some activities in the sunshine in montauk! read more

Golfing was fun. Most of the staff was really nice but there was a father and son that argued a lot when we paid to go sailing. The son tried to brush it off but we left after only 15 minutes because we just didn't feel comfortable enough to stay for the rest of our experience. Wouldn't recommend unless you are just going to play golf or want to see some family drama.. read more

Gotta love this classic mini golf spot that I'd consider a landmark Montauk spot. Not fancy, and shouldn't be. Hobie cats, paddle boards, kayaks also available. We've taken the Hobie's out - fun! Good spot. read more

Going from the bay to the green this place has you covered. This isn't any traditional golf course its one with 17 holes, a chance to win a free game, and paddle boats. Now as for a mini golf course the place is average, nothing bad or good just average. I would say they cheap-ed out on the last hole because space and put a small never to win uphill box for a free game. When your having a group competitive game sometimes the final hole is all you need to win, not a disappointing ending. As for the location its perfect in the middle area of town near ice cream and all the works. Great to use to kill time and hang out before going out. Lastly they rent paddle boats which is a nice twist which can help you go kill time. I would 100% come back because i have done this course 3 times over the summers. But, the creativity isn't amazing and the amount of people that go make it hard to enjoy. read more

Puff & Putt - Mini Golf Near Me - Montauk, New York

Best mini golf course on the east end! I've had nothing but amazing memories playing here since I was a kid. Nothing is better than renting a boat out after winning a free game on the 18th hole. While sailing the Hobie Cats on Fort Pond is really fun, it might be the cute guy who runs the boats that keeps be coming back:) Can't wait to go back this summer! read more

A fun place to hang out with friends while showing off your mini-golf skills. $7.50 for a game - cheap as a pint! The courses are pretty easy, that you get through them pretty fast. The difficult one is the last one, where you only have one shot to get it in. If you do, you get a free game! Should mini golf not be your thing, they also offer paddle boat and kayak rentals. I can see this entertaining a big group - some of you can go out paddle while others enjoy a game of mini golf. read more

The most no frills mini golf I've ever seen. You could construct something a little more elaborate by digging holes in your back yard. I have a soft spot in my heart for the place simply because I grew up playing mini golf here, but after playing elsewhere, I really don't have the same appreciation for the "quaint" (boring) course. Anything moderately entertaining in Montauk is going to make ridiculous amounts of money during the summer because there really isn't too much to do there, so I guess they don't really need to make it more interesting, but it would definitely benefit them to have the holes constructed of a little more than astroturf and wood planks. read more

It's old school mini-golf which has not changed much since my husband's childhood days. He is certain that some of the holes like the volcano is the same! Our kids had a blast and we one free games on 2 consecutive visits (hole-in-one on 18) so they are probably fans for life. There is a small arcade upstairs which is vintage but my kids were enamored with the pinball machine. Many of the other games were out of order. There are also paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, etc. but we didn't take any of those out but others seemed to be enjoying them. The service was very friendly and helpful. We came 3 times and the same woman (long blond hair) helped us and was very patient and welcoming. It might not be one of those new glitzy courses with all sorts of bells and whistles but if you want to have some laughs and a good time you will! We will be back! read more

The view is out of the world amazing some of the best moments I cherish for the rest of my life. the guy even held my hotdogs for me I even left my shirt there and they offered to hold it but I was too lazy to go back and get it I had the best time ever there . highly recommended read more

The course is better than the Montauk downs, and the boats are flawless. Best service in all of the Hamptons!

An average miniature golf course. The views were great and we had fun. At $8 a pop, it was a nice way to wind down an evening. Could use some upkeep and updating, but what miniature golf course doesn't? read more

This place was amazing. I took my wife and kid there and we had an amazing time. In fact, we were in Montauk for 3 days and went there each day. One day we went and played miniature golf-so fun! The next day we took out a peddle boat and saw the beautiful area the lake borders. The next day we went sailing. We had an awesome time. The staff was so friendly and helpful. This family run establishment was a staple for my summers growing up. Amazing staff and tons of fun for everyone!

HELL YEAH I'D LIKE SOME MINI GOLF! what a great spot to have a goofy fun time with friends while in Montauk! BONUS? Get a hole-in-one on hole 18 and win a free game (guess who won?! THIS GIRL!). this place also has a very dated/small game room (it might entertain a 3 or 4 year old for like 5 minutes, but that's about it), as well as paddle boat/kayak rentals. overall, a nice little place not too far from the main village area. read more
