Bottom line: 100% worth the hike. I'd say it's a low level, but that's sort of age dependent, do expect some difficult areas and mud. Length is about 10-15 mins. There might be a line.
Long line: stopped at La Bellota to park. This seems to be the norm and as long as you get a Medalla from the bar no one will complain. You have to go around a gate, and from there the hike is like 70% downhill (so more fun coming back). Expect a decent amount of mud and slippery areas. For reference, my 70ish in laws made it with minor balance assistance. The spot has gotten really popular so if you notice in the first picture there was already a line forming behind us..... on a Wednesday. Make sure to get a tetanus shot before coming; rust everywhere. read more
