Our home store Publix in Tarpon Springs. Always so nice to walk in here, the store is always clean, well stocked, and organized. The Deli is the straight bizness....makin amazing pub subs for our days out on the water, or even if we're just grabbing some popcorn chickens or wings to go. Why four stars? Well you pay about 30% more than the other grocery stores, unless you're getting their BOGOs, which are pretty awesome. They are always rotating so if we're not getting a BOGO we're trying not to by there due to the delta. I mean come on, its 2024....everything is more expensive (and no, its not a particular person's fault...Publix is always a little 'spensibe :) read more

How does a grocery store "run out" of onions, bread rolls, etc???? Went for a sub & was told just that. The only bread they had was much "skinnier, smaller" (their description) wheat rolls or hoagie rolls(also shorter)...of course same price but it was very difficult to eat because the insides were way too big for the bread to hold! When I arrived there were 2 in ahead of me & soon, 3 or 4 behind me. Many unsatisfied customers I expect. We love our "Pub Subs" but there is no excuse for this. This location has lost a customer. Needs new management. Workers were doing their best. read more

their hot deli is the place for you greasy deep fried cod. I mean greasy & soggy they won't even give you tarter sauce or ketchup for the potato wedges. I was told what aisle to buy then in. I thought this was a take away Neal. Guess not. The ocra w tomato tastes like the can i was so hungr and still so disgusted by the food but mostly the young dark haired server who said no we do not give condiments who ever sells fish & chips w no tarter sauce or ketchup. Nasty , Nasty food & attendant PLUS. I was told the Neal was $6.59 But I was charged $7.91 just to throw it away!! BUYER BEWARE!! Never going back there for groceries or anything!!! read more

NEVER use Publix Tarpon Springs for prescriptions unless you are willing to call MULTIPLE times AND hear a different explanation EVERY call only to be told after FOUR days that they're unable to get the medication your doctor prescribed. The medication in question is for HIGH BLOOD pressure. It is readily available everywhere else. read more

This is my Go-To Publix. It's 3 miles from home, and smaller format than some of the stores in the area. It's got everything I need , everything I want. I love their fresh fruit and veg section and of course I LOVE their bakery! The employees are always polite, willing to help out when you need them. read more

I called the Publix deli tonight and ordered 20 of the naked hot wings. These do not have any breading on them and that's why they call them naked. The very nice woman told me they would be ready in 30 minutes. I came up to the deli counter and gave my name and a nice man went and brought them out for me. These wings are perfect! Publix has the best naked hot wings anywhere. The price is nice too! read more

Called to cancel an appointment with pharmacy and was on hold for 10 minutes. When someone does finally pickup she takes another two minutes asking me questions to tell me she has to transfer me. She promises they will pick right up. Stayed on hold for another 5 minutes, had to hang up. Worst organized Publix I have ever had to deal with. read more

Everytime I need a cake I go to Publix! I love the raspberry white chocolate. But I recently got the chocolate for a birthday and it was delicious! Their cakes are always mosit and made fresh. They also decorate them beautifully and they are always a crowd pleaser! read more

Publix, Publix A grocery store. I came for a few things But I left with much more. It's best to avoid it Sundays or after work. Trying to park here Turns me into a jerk. They've reorganized recently And moved stuff around. It took me a while Before the peanut butter was found! (on the bread aisle??) The cashiers and baggers Greet me with smiles. Since I don't shop Winn-Dixie, This is worth the extra miles. read more

Publix!! The best grocery store in Florida! Always clean and the staff so friendly. I am always able to find what I want (and, guess, what? Always leave with more than I went in to get). Employees are always so friendly and offer to help me to my car with my groceries (even though I look perfectly capable of handling it on my own) -- still, they ask :) Publix was not a grocery option when I lived in Indiana so I'm glad I have this excellent store just down the street from my home here in Florida! My deli meat always comes with either dirt or some other kind of meat mixed in which is black or dark brown flakey substance. Either you are not cleaning of your work tables correctly or you dropping my food on the floor. Higher some people that take pride in there work! read more

If I could give this pharmacist no stars I would. The Publix pharmacist here at this location is aweful. She wouldn't fill my son's prescription that his doctor called in asking for the medication to be increased. Then she claimed she call his doctor office to verify the prescription is being increased. But the doctors office was closed for the holiday . So it's not possible that she spoke to him. my sons doctor is also out of the country on vacation. read more

The best grocery store around.. Just moved here and have been to publix a few times. Definitely somewhere ill continue to do mu shopping. I do wish they had a rewards card, perhaps some type of earned points system to entice the shopper to go more often. Either way im very happy with publix and will continue to shop there. read more

Clean, well organized, nice decor and lighting. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. They will break packages for you if needed so you don't buy excess. I just wish they had a Greenwise section. read more

This store is ok. Been here many times & they always seem busy. Today I went in to the same situation, many people shopping. One thing I did notice was none of the staff there seem to smile or be happy at all, I passed 4 of them & even when they looked at me, there was no smile or even hello. Seemed like all the staff was pissed for some strange reason, other Publix seemed to be nicer. Good location, easy parking. Unfriendly staff. read more

I went to publix today to order a cake for my sons 3rd birthday and the lady in the bakery was soo rude and said nope cant do that and told me that I had to pick a cake from the book. So she walked us there half way and left us and said something out of the book or nothing. I have ordered cakes from the tarpon springs location for 20 years. I will never ever order my cakes there again. I went to another publix and they asked to see my design and said absolutely we can do this. so I do not understand what the problem was and why a publix worker is so rude and has no customer service skills. read more

I had my doctor call in a prescription to the pharmacy here, as my doctor informed me the medication would be cheaper to pick up here, then at my usual Walgreens. When I called to check on my prescription status, the pharmacy tech I spoke to was extremely rude. I had never been to this pharmacy, so the pharmacist deliberately had a very nasty and uncaring tone in his voice. He proceeded to ask me multiple questions. The way this man was talking to his customer, was simply unacceptable on a professional basis. He was insinuating that I was some kind of drug addict, over and over, just because I had never been to their pharmacy. Avoid this Publix Pharmacy at all costs. I was made very uncomfortable, and his attitude is something I've never run across when it comes to a professional environment like a pharmacy. I'm appalled and disgusted. Do better! Treat all of your customers with respect. I'm still completely dumbfounded at how this man spoke to me, and I NEVER get online and write any reviews. read more

Publix and Publix Pharmacy, US 19 N, Tarpon Springs, FL Had it not been for the pharmacy, I would have rated this store with a five star. The grocery store is good. The clerks are friendly. The sales staff will go the distance; could be a little bit more friendly. But, ask them for something you don't see and they will either find it on the shelf for you or check the stock. I had this experience recently trying to find Italian sausage. None was out of the kind I wanted and the man went right back and got a new case. Why would I go anywhere else. Frankly some of the best customer service I have found. Always clean, well organized. Their deli chicken is great. The only detractor is the pharmacy. I had to call several times to get an answer to a question. One of the staff acknowledged having heard my message. No call back. I tried to reach the pharmacy manager. Have I heard back yet? No. We were going to move our families prescriptions there; especially since we shop there all the time. But, I am not going to beg a retail vendor to accept my business or cash. I don't expect a call from the pharmacy manager. While the rest of the store always has people in it, I rarely see folks at the pharmacy. Color me surprised! read more

Wonderful supermarket. We purchased the wrong batteries we needed. Since we are traveling by boat, it would have been hard for us to return them for the right ones with the almost 2 mile walk from our marina. We talked with Justin, a manager we believe, and he brought the ones we needed to the marina for us. And even refused a thank you gratuity. Wonderful service. Thank you Publix. read more

They make really great cakes! there bakery has very good items, and fresh. one thing i like a lot about publix is they have nice carts, i know thats weird, but they are just smooth to use, unlike walmarts lol. there food is great and there fruits are always the best.
