This rating is for the pharmacy. They suck. Find somewhere else. In fact I'm transferring my prescriptions back to the Publix I used to use. They're the only decent Publix pharmacy I've found. This place is ridiculous and the pharmacist is rude. Makes me wonder if it's the same pharmacist from the Publix on eureka and us1. That pharmacy is TERRIBLE as well. This pharmacy has me waiting for blood pressure meds for 2 weeks. Not even to mention the fact that they refused to give me some of my meds to hold me over. Completely ridiculous. Shouldn't be a pharmacist. Because any pharmacist who knows anything would know that you can cause someone to have a stroke by withholding their blood pressure meds. And I'm not just spouting off. I am a registered nurse. So I know when someone is not qualified to do their job in the medical field. And the pharmacist here is NOT qualified. read more

This is a great supermarket with lots of options. They have all the usual options you will find at most Publix. Do keep in mind that it tends to be on the more expensive side. There is lots of parking available. read more

Worst pharmacy ever, they keep playing with my prescription. They keep telling me it'll be ready by tomorrow then tomorrow comes and they tell me it hasn't even been ordered! And when you call nobody answers the phone. This isn't something to play with it's literally medication it's a NECESSITY and they keep playing with it, nobody knows anything literally the most unprofessional pharmacy staff. I like my Publix. Very clean and organized inside. Produce department is always fresh and ready. Bakery is good as well, I can always count to find what I need, even in emergencies, lol! My only suggestion is that we can have one more space to put carts at the end of the parking lot, in front of the street, 112st . and one more on the side of the store towards the wall. Unfortunately, some of our neighbors are not so clean so the parking lot sometimes looks messy with garbage in the floor, McDonalds bags next to the cars, etc. read more

Vegetables seem to be super fresh every time I visit this supermarket - which is not very often. They even have the sprinkler system in the vegetables area!!! I usually don't shop at this store but I definitely won't return after seeing a customer with a large dog in a shopping cart. This is unsanitary and unacceptable. I notified the manager who was aware of the situation but failed to have the dog immediately removed from the cart and sanitize it. I also contacted their corporate office so they can put pressure on the staff to prevent this from happening again. read more

I understand the current situation and the demand of product is high right now but it seems to me Publix's management needs to have a better plan. People are waiting outside for at minimum and hour to get inside (which is fine because of the situation) just to find the shelves are still empty. Then 5 min later you see the meat guy start to stock the shelves. Not ok. You want to talk about chaos. You need to stock at night as much as possible. Or close the doors for a half a day or a full day what ever is needed to stock so when the people do come in then it is not chaos. And during these times. Think about having employees hand out the high demand items 2 packs per person. That way it stays organized and there are no fights and people are not too close to each other. A very clean and friendly Publix. I have a friend from Hialeah whom is totally in love with this Publix. She says that everyone is super friendly and treat her as if they knew her for years. When I have gone, I've noticed the same thing. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I haven't met someone that has been too busy or inconvenienced by my questions. If you are familiar with the area, you know the Publix just up the road, the one by SouthLand Mall ( SW 20711 and US1), feels like you will get mugged. The same is not true with this Publix. The ambient feels a lot safer even though at night you should be vigilant. It would be nice if they would post a security guard outside full time along with the normal security inside. This review is based solely on my deli experience. I am still waiting for my flatbread pizza. The employees haven't received training on how to make them. They also don't have any of the ingredients set up for the flatbread. I've been waiting over 10 mins, other customers after me have ordered and left and I still don't have my BBQ pork flat bread not the customer service that I expected or have received at publix where shopping is supposed to be a pleasure..... I am editing my review.... I had to throw away the two flatbreads I ordered. The buffalo chicken was inedible. The exaggerated amount of blue cheese used was done maliciously. Both flat breads were NOT baked. The cheese was not melted and the bread was soggy. Also both flatbreads were not made in front of me so I had no idea how terrible they looked / tasted. What a shame, this item could have been very successful item for the deli. read more

Please never, never use Publix Instacart, it is the worst service ever! I ordered my groceries at 4:49pm, because I am sick and have No food in my pantry. It was supposed originally to be delivered at 6:55pm, then they kept postponed it. Now the system says that it will be delivered at 11:00pm I am afraid that it won't be delivered, tomorrow is Thanksgiving and Publix will be closed and I have no food! If Publix Instacart knew that they were having delays or shopper shortage, they should have put a Note in their website letting the customers know, that way we customer can decide if to use them or not. I could have used Cornershop by Uber and another supermarket Instead! Very clean, very organized Publix. Not to say that Publix is not known for that, but since its a new Store that just opened up not so long ago, it's way better from the other store a few miles down. The people are friendly and corteous. read more

Produce at this store must not be handled very well. I get digestion problems from their vegetables. The Deli is ok, but the bread for their sandwhiches are awful. The community in the area is straight gutter trash so you do have bums around often at night begging for food. They have two guards there in the evening, one inside and outside. I have only met two good managers there. The rest are terrible and have bad snarky attitudes. The Seafood department is excellent and very friendly. It is a joy having conversations with them every time I go there. read more

This review is solely for the Bakery and their manager! I am an avid shopper of this Publix and have been since me moving in the neighborhood in 2011. However, if you are having an event and are ordering a cake, I suggest to order elsewhere, or you may run the risk of not having a cake for your event. My friend ordered a cake two weeks prior for her daughters birthday. She confirmed numerous times that they could make a half ice cream, half cake for her event. She even confirmed multiple times with the manager. Fast forward two weeks, she received a phone call from a strange number at 7am (mind you the cake was to be picked up at 8). No one left a voicemail. I go to the store to pick up to find out, the same manager that confirmed what could be done, there was no cake because they no longer make ice cream cakes. When I asked him why didn't they contact sooner and not the day of, he claimed that he doesn't know what happened and he was probably "buggin" that day. His unprofessional and unapologetic nature for notifying us last minute the time the cake was to be picked up, they couldn't complete a cake that was confirmed and ordered on the order sheet is disgusting. My friends 12 year old had to have a "plan B" cake as opposed to what was ordered because of the incompetence of this employee who is A MANAGER! Publix needs to reevaluate their way of promoting people to managers because he did NOTHING to compensate for THEIR ERROR! read more

Aside from the parking being a pain, I really prefer shopping at this Publix. It's very clean and new. The employees are all so friendly and helpful. I don't do the cooking in my house so when I was in a pickle the other day about dinner I literally had a personal shopper. I didn't get his name but he was a gentleman in his 50's and it seemed like he worked in the meat dept. he helped me pick out the best steak and suggested the best sides to compliment the meat. He also gave me some recipes and walked to to the products I would need. It made my trip to Publix more pleasant and shorter I'm sure! If he hadn't helped me out I would never have made it home for the season premier of Pretty Little Liars! :P I was very pleased! read more

This is the best Publix ever! If I ever move, I would be so sad to leave this Publix. I've been coming pretty much since it opened in 2011 and I feel like everyone there is my family. The staff is amazing, they all have been there since the beginning, even my 2 year old knows them since he was born, (especially Solomon and Chelsy who cook the demo meals). They always help me and I can ask the manager, Chris, for certain products they don't carry and he will get them for me. So here's the deal, this publix is best to go at in the morning as around 5 or 6 it gets busy. The cafeteria/deli food that they have here is awesome and they have good deals, sometimes we call ahead if we are in a rush and they have a spot they keep warm food that you call ahead in, so it's ready for you to pick up, no line needed. The Spanish lady that cooks the food is awesome too and you can tell she loves what she does so it's cooked with love. The Pernil, which is pork, is great and they have a nice selection of fountain drinks to choose from. During lunch times I would suggest calling your deli sandwhich ahead of time cause it gets busy and the lines are sometimes ridiculous. Overall we love going to publix to eat fresh home cooked food, so if your in the area, stop by fo sho! read more

The deli department is probably the worst I have ever been to in all my years of going to publix. I have waited 30 to 45 mins to have a sandwich made on many occassions. I have gotten fed up and walked away many more times than that. Tonight being a prime example in which there were only two people ahead of me, but the line did not move for over ten minutes so I left. I have also ordered sandwiches ahead of time and they were stolen from the pickup location. The employees work at the same pace no matter how long the line, and appear to be hoping the store will close before they have to help everyone. They have no initiative to come back up other employees when they are getting slammed by customers. Between more than occasional missing hot items like their chickens and the extremely slow service at the sandwich counter, i have never been disappointed so much by a store. Additionally, i do not know if this is intentional, but many times the BOGO items are never restocked during the sale througout the store. So after the initial buying frenzy customers are left with no selection of flavors other than the ones no one cares for. This happens especially with the ice cream. read more

The deli department needs improvement. I never get anything from the deli because no matter that time, the line is always backed up! Sad thing is I literally life 3 miles away but rather go to the Publix on eureka an 147ave. The parking is always a mess! All the idiots parking in the fire lane and the security does nothing!
