I went into Public to pick up my anti depression medicine tonight and they said it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow after 4pm. The bright sparks at Yelp have definitely messed up the reviews between the Publix supermarket and the Publix pharmacy but this business is titled "Publix Pharmacy" and so I'm adding my pharmacy review here. Somehow, I remembered that I would need to bring my medications with me but at the last minute when it was time to put them into the bag, I forgot. So now I'm off on a two week road trip and I'm going to be without my prescription. Publix to the rescue! I stopped in here, told the nice young lady my story, and she punched a few keys on the computer. Lo and behold, my prescription is available to be renewed here and transferred from my regular Publix back in Charlotte. Bada bing, bada boom, I got a text message a few minutes later that it was ready to be picked up. I hadn't even finished my shop at this point. That's service! Pleasant, efficient, friendly. I was in Dville for the day so of course u needed to do a Publix and Kroger run. Nope you can't get the same things at one store. I run to Publix for the deals. BUY 1 get 1 free has always been a favorite. I don't have to buy both if I don't want to. This location is a nice size and up to large with the rest of their locations. Everything was nice and orderly, fully stocked shelved and of course nice employees. I had to go to customer service for a raincheck in Persil. No problem. I wanted a raincheck on Prego Cooking Sauces but a clerk was nice enough to find some for me. My only issue was the cashier. I had a few coupons. He was holding up the line because he was trying to scan each coupon after the item. Smh. This was annoying and drew attention to me that I did not want. Hopefully he won't do that to another shopper. All in all the store was in point. read more

Publix, Cosby Station is our favorite place! My little one happily has very great taste both artistically with the pleasant atmosphere and numerically with the weekly deals that align with his structured schedule of likes! (ASD) Alice, Sarah, Dana, Dorothy, Micah and Mary Grace are all very sweet and special people in our lives as we are there for an item or several, usually three times a week and have been for close to eight years now. They definitely feel like part of our family and they could honestly not be any more friendly or kind to him. Needless to say when someone goes out of their way to be kind to your child, you naturally love them. So super gracious, there aren't enough stars for your lovely staff and relaxing aesthetics in your store! read more

I called to place a takeout order today starting at 1:33 pm. No one answered in the Deli. I then placed a call to customer service and informed them the line was going unanswered. I was forwarded to a manger, guess what, no answer. read more

The first encounter was great. My doctor called in the antibiotics and within a few hours, I was picking up my antibiotic and it was free. I was impressed... and then... I had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic and called the pharmacist...while I was on hold waiting for her to pick up the transfer call, she may have accidentally pushed the hold button and I heard her speaking ... only she wasn't speaking to me... she must've been talking to a colleague and the conversation I overheard... let's just say was not something you should hear in a place of business... there was attitude, cussing, and ugh. Anyways, she later on may have realized this or whoever was in charge of putting people on hold, and she proceeded to pick up the phone and actually talk to me... I told them what happened and asked her if she has any suggestion since it was a Sunday and the the doctor's office is closed. This is my first time ever experiencing this, so I called the Pharmacist as it was instructed on the medicine packet it came with... It said to call the Pharmacist if I have any questions about the medicine ... SO I asked her, based on her knowledge, if what I was experiencing is in fact a serious side effect/ simple allergic reaction or am I just over reacting... she then responded with a very unsure " i PROBABLY WOULD stop. IM NOT SURE, but if I were you, I MAYBE will not take anymore until I talk to the dr. What it SOUNDS LIKE is that you MAYBE are having a reaction, and i THINK, you COULD BE allergic but IM NOT SURE." What a waste of my time! I have already done all that guessing, and I didn't need to hear it from someone else who was even more unsure of myself! I understand that no one can possibly know and be an expert of every single drug and its side effects, but the fact that this pharmacist did not even stop for at least 30 seconds to really think about it, and if she was not sure she could have put me on hold and researched or look it up, or some other effort so that she can have a better answer... I know she was not that busy since she had enough time earlier to have that painful-to-hear conversation, and even if she is, she could've explained such and tell me that it may take a little while to get an answer or she may have to call me back etc... there could've been so much more done... but instead, a few guesses and a suggestion to call the doctor... I felt like I just called a 1-800 number and this pharmacist had a talk time she had to meet. She just couldn't wait to get me off the phone. I do give another star to this place since she did instruct me to call my doctor and advised me that there should be an on-call doctor and request for a call back...and I am very grateful of this advice. However, I am a bit weary to work with a business who hires people who are not confident or truly committed to their line of expertise. read more

These are hands-down the best chicken wings I've ever eaten. In my opinion, Buffalo Wild Wings, Pizza Hut, Wing Zone, or Hooters doesn't hold a candle to these. All the chicken is tender and comes right off the bone and the sauces pack a delightful flavor. The only place I can think of that comes close to these wings is Mr. PJ's. read more

I've stood in line (only customer) for 20 mins and counting... waiting to place an order for a sandwich. The associate Lynn is fixing an internet order (I assume) but she's waiting on chicken tenders (1 min), she needed to cut up some tomatoes, some cheese, and get boxes.... (this is all while I'm STANDING in line) again, I'm the only customer... standing here. The store itself is very nice. The customer service, ummm, could use a little work. 5mins later... Sandwich fixed It took her exactly 3 mins... (FOR THE GROCERY STORE NOT PHARM) Do they not have a protocol for long lines??? I pass Wal-Mart to get here. Picked up all 5 of my items in 1:33sec and sat in line for 10 min and it didn't move an inch (Literally). The cashier left her post for some reason and I never saw her return. The only 2 open lines were spilling back into the frozen sections and staff that were around were just walking around. This isn't the first time and this isn't the only location this has happened. Publix please talk with your evening Manager on 9/23/17 at 7pm and ask why this happened. Anyways I left my basket their and had to go to Wal-Mart and get all my items. It took me 8000 steps in-store, but I was in and out way faster and Cheaper than this Publix (and the one on Lee Rd. at 4pm on weekdays). You're Fired! read more

Prices are a little higher at Publix overall but its definitely worth it. The food is fresher, staff is friendly, store is organized very well, and their deli/bakery is awesome. 20 wings for 9.99? Cannot be beat! I love that the employees help customers out to load their car, I never take advantage of the service but its great its offered. read more

This Publix is great for higher-end grocery shopping, pastries and great bread. The staff are usually extremely friendly. Unfortunately, Publix does not mark down deli and dairy items approaching or past expiration date, though probably still edible for several days past that. I'm so tired of this under stocked store!! For over two months now I have had to ask workers for items that should be on the shelves!! They only have two heads of lettuce out at all times, haven't had banana Popsicles in months!! Stopped caring Lysol shower cleaner. This store suddenly sucks!
