Produce and deli area

We arrived in town pretty late and needed to pick up quite a few items. Luckily Publix is open until 11pm. The store was super clean and organized. Everything was very easy to find which was great since I definitely had no idea where anything was. The handful of employees we came across were friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit high to me, but then again I'm from Phoenix. Many options for ready to go food items and such as well.

Breakfast items for 2 days!

Husband mentioned the high price of the Tombstone pizza, saying that "it's $2 cheaper at home." Our cashier replied, "It's because this is a tourist area." Yes, it is, and the sale prices in the weekly circular ARE in effect, but high demand items are pricier here than at home. It was a convenient location to where we were staying, and buying food to cook at the condo was cheaper than dining out. This Publix was like ours at home - well lit, clean, and staffed with friendly, efficient people. It even had a section for Mickey Mouse mementos and other Orlando area souvenirs. The selection for pre-made or heat up at home food was excellent. I chose 2 different salads for my dinner. They were on sale for 2 for $7. But I was tempted to try the lasagna or creamed chicken breast with almonds & green beans. These items looked delicious. They also had a diverse sushi section. Several people were in line for freshly made to order sandwiches.

Never reasonably good selection of fresh produce and meats, I think one of the best parts is probably the sandwiches that you can get here. They didn't have as many selections of single serve drinks those I thought, couldn't find apple juice single serve, ironically. But they do have a big wine selection and alcohol section, along with plenty of tourist Disney/Universal items and water play items. Superbowl display up with all the snacks and drinks you could want.

Jack Daniel's cake

Pretty much like every other Publix out there. We were in the area and had some time to kill so we stopped in to look for a cake. It seems that the cake that we wanted is not something that they keep in stock in any of their stores from what we were told. If they had a day they could custom make one for us but I kind of needed it that day. Quite simply we were looking for a yellow cake with chocolate frosting for someone's birthday. It was their specific request. In the end I ended up having to bake one myself which turned out fine. I would have done other shopping except for be home for a while and this location isn't anywhere near where we live. The store itself was clean and well organized and the employees were very friendly.

Clean, and well stocked. I've used this grocery each time I vacation in the area. I've not had any problems with product or staff.

Ask the Community - Publix

Does this supermarket have ready meals? Looking for meals that are home style but microwaveable after a long day at the parks. Dining out every day for 6 people is going to be way too expensive. Thanks for any help 🙂

Yes in the freezer aisle but also in meat section they have already prepped meals that you can microwave or grill or put in oven

Sprouts Farmers Market

Date of visit: November 28, 2025…read more I'd heard of Sprouts before but never had an opportunity to visit one until this trip down to Florida for a cruise. We needed a couple small items and walked over after breakfast. It definitely has a Trader Joe's vibe, so if that's not your scene you likely won't care for Sprouts, either. Think healthy and natural with fun twist. I found the items I was looking for and while they weren't exactly cheap, they both seemed to be of above average quality and I am a firm believer in getting what you pay for. All of the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful (when's the last time you can say that you experienced that!?), and I wouldn't hesitate to visit another location on my travels if I had the opportunity to do so.

Sprouts Farmers Market (the one I go to in [Your City]) - 5 stars, no notes…read more I'm obsessed. Walking into Sprouts feels like someone gave Whole Foods a personality transplant and slashed the prices while they were at it. The produce section is legitimately gorgeous -- heaps of organic kale that actually looks alive, avocados that are ripe EXACTLY when they say they will be (witchcraft?), and those little cartons of specialty mushrooms I pretend to know how to cook. Everything smells like it was picked this morning, because half of it probably was. The bulk bins are dangerous for me. I go in for almonds and leave with mocha-dusted chocolate almonds, chili-lime pistachios, and some random grain I saw on TikTok that I'll never figure out how to pronounce. Their bulk spices are also clutch -- I refilled smoked paprika for like $0.87 the other day and felt like I hacked the system. The deli/sandwich counter is low-key one of the best lunch deals in town. $8.99 for a massive made-to-order sandwich on fresh-baked bread with all the fancy toppings? Yes please. The "Sprouts Classic" with turkey, cranberry, and stuffing vibes year-round is stupidly good. Meat and seafood counter people are always chill and actually know what they're talking about. Got sold on some cedar-plank salmon that changed my weeknight dinner game. And if you're plant-based, the selection of fake meats and cheeses that don't taste like regret is honestly impressive. Only tiny gripe: the parking lot is a blood sport on weekends and they play the same 7 acoustic covers on loop, but I'll fight for a spot and hum along to "Wonderwall" on ukulele if it means I get to shop here. Sprouts, never change (except maybe add one more register on Saturdays). See you tomorrow... again.
