Every time I come to this Publix on State Road 52 I am always pleasantly surprised by how friendly, neat, clean, and always in stock. This store happens to be. Every aisle is always polished to a high sheen. Every shelf has product on it, and other words, they are always in stock. Sometimes the prices on a few things are a little bit high, but there are things here that you can get at this particular store that you can't say another Publix or another grocery chain. I just enjoy shopping here because they back their food. If you have a problem with the food they'll replace it no questions asked even if you cook it and you overcook it and it comes out crummy. You bring it back to the store and they will either refund you or give you a replacement. They always have great customer service, friendly staff members who are willing to actually walk you to a product. There's always plenty of parking spaces. The one thing that I think that they should concentrate on a little bit more is to have more handicap parking spaces. I myself, I am handicapped and I had to park a distance away. There's always someone in the parking lot cleaning gathering carts and making sure the carts are clean when they put them for the next person to use. read more

Well, once again, change number 8,642 to this Publix processes. You no longer pick up your pre-ordered deli items from the front of the store, they have now changed the process back to the old way they did business which is you show up at the deli to pick up what you pre-ordered from the deli, I swear, I couldn't make this stuff up! The timing is still off, take your time getting to the store because your order won't be ready (75% of the time) according to the instructions on the email you received with the time posted on when your item(s) SHOULD be ready. If you're an extremely patient person, it probably won't bother you, but if you're taking blood pressure medication, I suggest you show up at the store when they open and place your order right at the deli to get it within a reasonable amount of time. Regardless, nobody's going to be in a hurry to help you with anything until they get ready, but they'll eventually get tired of looking at you and decide to take your order. Am I the only one that has noticed items in the sale flyer are never carried in this store? I'm wondering if this is just a ploy to get you in the store only to be let down when you're told "this" store doesn't carry those items that are in the sale flyer. Just curious, why would you advertise items in a sale flyer that you don't carry in the store? I'm still trying to figure this out...BUT, if you are lucky enough to find items from sale flyers, more disappointment will set in when there are none in the stores because "it didn't come in on the truck". If I had one dollar for every time that I had been given that excuse, I certainly wouldn't be sitting here reviewing a Publix that is never going to get any better, that's just a fact. I would say "do better Publix" but I don't think that's ever going to happen in my lifetime, but rest assured that I will be back to continue my rants about the worst Publix I've ever visited in the state of Florida! read more

Went to the land o lakes location. Clean store. Friendly staff. Ordered the "ultimate" boars head sub (whole) from the deli counter $9+ tax. Absolutely delicious 5/5. Customer service 4/5. Pricey for a grocery store sandwich. 3/5 for cost/value. Would definitely go again! read more

Might be the worst experience I have ever dealt with over a $6 item. I proceeded to your self checkout with some Mayfield dessert items. Had multiple signs that stated B1G1 free. I had two items that I believed to be on sale. Did not ring up and the female employee running self checkout said that I can not mix and match. So I went back and grabbed another two items of the same sku. Still NOT ringing up on sale. She still does not want to help me and refuses to take any action. I go back a THIRD time and at this time a male employee meets me there to help. He looks at the items and supposedly the items I selected were stocked in the wrong location. Not only was the sale sign wrong, but the actual white item identifier was wrong as well. 8 of them put in the wrong location which is not my fault. The male employee was not able to help me over the error of the stocking situation and of course the rude female self checkout employee did not want to help as well. Her answer to me was that I "read the sign." All items were stocked incorrectly which the male employee admitted to. She did not want to adjust the price at all because the male employee said so. "He's the produce manager, I have to listen to him." Very disappointed with Publix and how this was handled. The lady up front was very rude and should not be in customer service. Do better Publix, I can definitely go elsewhere. read more

Best Publix around! The folks here go above and beyond. Where else can you get to know your pharmacist (Win) the baker (Dawn) customer service (kaylee) and produce (John), and so many more friendly faces! Every time I go I am greeted by these wonderful people. It is a joy to see these helpful folks! I will give a few examples... Thanksgiving, I was looking for Pumpkin Bread mix, and CS Kaylee called around for Libby's pumpkin mix for me, she followed and and saved me two boxes of mix... then John from produce also a sweetie, cut up an apple and we both tried it since it was a new type that I had never tried before! In the bakery, Dawn is always friendly, sharing her knowledge of baked goods, recommending breads that my husband is happy to devour with his dinner! And let's not forget all the folks in the pharmacy. Every one of them, each doing their diligence to make sure scripts are filled... always saying hello, and remembering my name. Large Publix supporting the Moon Lake area. Located off of SR 52, it's easy in and out with ample parking. The staff is quite friendly and doesn't hesitate to answer questions. Clean and neat, they were open until 10 the eve of Christmas Eve and it seemed that the store was a ghost town. We came in and got what we needed and a few items more. Checking out was a breeze. If I'm in the area, I'll certainly stop in. read more

I am surprised this Publix doesn't seem to be on Yelp already? It's newer. This is my favorite Publix for flowers. They always seem to have nice ones. I thought all Publix had nice flowers, but some don't. :( This is a large new suburban Publix. Usually not very busy. Employees are friendly. There's a nice park across the street if you want to hike or bike or horseback ride before you grocery shop. read more

this store has the best deli. !!! the gal in the deli, i called and requested a party platter (large deli ring) as I had last minute guests arriving.- usually u need to order 24 hours in advance, but this gal, said she could do it the same day. best customer service, and the bakery also... also, ordered chicken last week, best fried chicken!!!! but we only like SINGLE dip, not as much breading...and the deli gal said, not a problem and it will be waiting for me. read more

I LOVE Publix. First of all, the cleanliness of this store is absolutely superb. The shopping carts are never damaged or run-down. This store has such a peaceful atmosphere that it makes shopping truly enjoyable. The staff is really friendly. Whenever I walk into this store, I am greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. This store deserves a 5-star rating. I am never disappointed when I walk into Publix. It is where I will continue to do all my shopping. read more

Don't understand how Publix can charge $8 for a small bag of cashews and still remain open. This supermarket chain prices are well above the norm. The prices at Walmart for the exact same products are about 30% cheaper than Publix. read more

People at the sandwich making station were very nice but the whole process was quite confusing. One person in front of me yet I watched multiple employees making sandwiches on other tickets? Maybe they were called in? Idk but I waited about 12 mins before I was finally asked what I wanted. When I got to the window to look in, the vegetable options were literally littered with pieces of fried chicken in almost every container. They were chopping fried chicken for sandwiches and it went all over the station. I watched in horror as one of the employees that was making some kind of chicken sandwich kept reaching into the lettuce to pick out pieces of fried chicken with the same gloves he handled all the chicken. So unbelievably unsanitary. I have gotten sandwiches here before and never seen this. But the way everyone was going about like it was normal practice made me feel sick. I will not return. read more

I went to this publix today, I went to have two sandwiches made, there was two lady's working, they both saw us and ignored us, they both turned there backs on us and ignored us, my husband and myself waited about 5 minutes thinking maybe they would help us, still ignored us, I then asked a man working behind the counter to page someone else because the two lady's working didn't want to help us, both lady's Hurd me asking him for help, they again ignored us, we waiting another 5 mins for someone to be paged, no one came, I them went and talked to the manager, that was very wrong of there staff to just rudely see you and ignore you one lady was just playing with papers flicking the pages back and forth, customers are always first, so if your wanting any service I absolutely wouldn't come to this publix, we left after the manager said sorry, we didn't buy anything we then left, and we won't be returning!
