This is a smaller and older store compare to other Publix,however this store has the same great costumer service as other stores and is very clean. The bathrooms are kept clean and they always have open registers to assist costumers. This store is older but has the same features as the newer stores, I enjoyed shopping here. read more

The online process of ordering Subs is the worst! We ordered 5 subs online and the order said it will be ready in 45 minutes. It's been over an hour and only 1 sub has been completed at the time of this review. I was in the deli watching people place sub orders and literally the lady made about 7 subs in 10 minutes. She was fast! So my question is why does Publix offer ordering on line when you can just walk in and place your order in the store and receive it faster? It defeats the purpose of online ordering! Come on Publix. You can do better! This is the 2 nd time in a week this has happened. read more

I love Publix! Publix can generally be counted on to consistently be clean, well lit, have helpful and friendly staff, bags your groceries. and does not require customers to sign up for loyalty programs to receive deals. Some items can be a little more expensive st Publix, but the other benefits outweigh this. A pricing heads-up: On the Publix private label sour cream, three of the 16oz sour creams are cheaper than two 24oz. Buy three small and save a little if you need that much. I do; I bring some sour cream as my contribution to a local soup kitchen a couple of times a month. If a pricing error occurs, I can count on Publix (1) giving me the correct price without an argument and (2) correcting signage issues to prevent reoccurrence which has not been my experience with competitors. I especially appreciate the floral department. The floral department offers an assortment of inexpensive, pretty flowers in pots such as mini roses, tulips, etc., depending on the season. These make excellent table arrangements. I prefer the potted pretties to cut flowers, which Publix also carries, because the plants last longer. Using Publix's potted plants as table center pieces has helped control event costs for a local nonprofit of which I am a member. Usually, we can find flowering plants with pot-wrappers already on them, further reducing costs and complexity. I also appreciate that Publix contributes to its local community, including donating its excess bread and pastries to local food pantries. I volunteer at a food pantry and have seen how much it is needed and appreciated. Today, I had an issue with a cashier that was completely ignored by the manager. The cashier in one of the 10 items or less lines was helping a customer as I approached carrying three items. She waved a customer with a basket of well over 10 items in front of me, forcing me to wait. When I complained, the customer told me the cashier said she could do it (which the cashier did). The cashier didn't respond or speak to me at all. The manager who witnessed the incident just strolled off without addressing the situation. I switched lanes. When I left the store, the customer was still checking out. I took the picture. Additionally, when I told the new cashier what had happened the other one just turned around and glared evilly at me. What really upsets me is that the first cashier simply could have said "Oops I didn't see you" (even though she clearly did) and/or said "I am sorry", but she didn't. read more

My wife came home crying a minute ago after shopping at Publix at Woodland Center on Rt19 N in Eustis Florida.We shop there weekly and most of them know us. My wife was accused of stealing after someone that worked there gave her a sample and was later confirmed by the manager. McKenzie was the person that accused my Wife of Stealing! We have shopped at this Publix for several years, ever since we moved to this area. We do most of our regular shopping at Aldi's now as their prices are better without giving up quality. But we still shop at Publix some also, especially the BOGO items we use. But their prices aren't as low overall as their ads seem to suggest. The meat prices seem particularly high. We appreciate the free prescriptions they offer for frequently used generics, such as some diabetic meds or common antibiotics, and we also like the recycle bins out front for plastic bags and styrofoam. Apparently they now offer a service where they shop for you and deliver it, but by the time I require a service like that, I will probably be in a nursing home anyway. read more

I want to let Everyone I know about Publix at Woodland Plaza. I purchased cold eight pack of Cooked chicken Oct 21 2022 and other products at this store. I finnally git around to eating said chicken Oct 23 2022 I woke up at around 2 00 am on Monday October 24 hurting from my belly with a fever of 102 degrees . I tried everything I could to resolve this issue and had to live with my pain till Thursday when a family member brought Me some antibiotics and Pepto bismo. WARNING This store manager did his best to help me and told me to call corpate to which I did as he requested to only get the oldest hustle in the world .They offered me 100 bucks even after I told them I had lost a week's work due to thier chicken which the store told me not to bring the chicken in just pictures. This is where the WARNING COMES TO EFFECT. NO MATTER WHAT TGE STORE SAYS IF YOU GET SICK BRING THE FOOD PRODUCT BACK TO THE STORE CAUSE CORPARATE WILL TELL YOU WITHOUT OUT THE PRODUCT TO TEST THEY ARE NOT LIABLE I hope this helps anyone that finds themselves sick from pre cooked food from this store. And if you do get sick go to the hospital and have them test you while your sick so you can sue Corparate as the law is they are LIABLE but you need to cover your back side cause your talking a multi million dollar business read more

This store is one of the worst, they always advertise and when i go to purchase they don't have them, OUT OF STOCK, I know its not a vendor shortage but just bad management. I will go to the store on David Walker and I always find the product. The stores are only 4 miles apart. This store is really clean and organized but I'd never come back to this or probably any Publix store. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS for what's offered. I can get the same stuff for much cheaper at a gas station (which is usually an expensive option). I could easily go to the Winn-Dixie across the street and the stuff was cheaper. Walmart is cheaper then both. But the prices here are just so out there... It was unbelievable considering how packed this place was. Do all these people make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year?? They must in order to afford to shop here! I hope the employees make more then minimum wage otherwise I can't imagine how they could afford to shop here either! We also went back to the deli and the food was expensive and looked like it had been sitting there ALL DAY. It was crusted over and just nasty. And they wanted $11+ for this! No! I have been in Florida 2 yrs now. I am so very impressed with Publix and their employesles. This store is immaculate and all employees are helpful and kind. They are especially diligent on the handling of the virus and are trying their best. Retail is not easy work and I commend them all! The deli chicken has gone downhill and one could say the same for the meat department chicken. The chicken used in the Deli's for the fried chicken and rotisserie must be coming from a different supplier as in previous years. This would make sense considering the US has now approved imports from China. With Publix policy on finding ways to make more money for the managers bonuses and employee stock sharing it makes even more sense. The founder is definitely rolling in his grave with the direction Publix has taken. The rotisserie's have gotten smaller and often none of the chicken from the deli tastes like chicken. If that was even possible. There seems to be an undertone flavoring of garbage. If I had to best explain it, the deli chicken tastes old, it sat on the loading dock too long, then it was undercooked, then cooked again, sat out on the counter for a day, then warmed up and served the following day. The bone structure doesn't even look normal and unusual fatty deposits that end up tasting rotten. The fried chicken has gotten to the point where its hard to know if its a breast or thigh. Large amounts of uncooked breading on a single piece seems to be consistent along with a flavor that might be considered chicken. read more

I've been so frustrated with Publix recently. I usually stop in 2-3 times a week and purchase 20 items or fewer. Recently there has almost always been an item that rings up at a higher price than it is supposed to be. Today my item was advertised as $4 off but they tried to charge me full price. As promised, they fix it in my order right away. But there is no evidence of them fixing the underlying problem - the next person is probably paying $4 too much for the item. The supervisor came over to give the cashier a code to fix it, then went off to their break without even asking which item was incorrect. It is really frustrating to know that you need to remember the prices of all items and correct things. read more

I go to the Publix in Eustis, Florida. Their service is excellent. I love their "Buy one, get one free" specials and the bi monthly gas card special. Their meat is a bit high priced so I wait for sales on that. All in all, Publix makes the shopping experience great and I like knowing that Publix is considered an employee owned company. I think it is because they have profit sharing but not sure. All of their employees that I have spoken to tell me they like it there and have good benefits and a fair wage. I think that makes them happier to be able to deal with the public. read more
