It's a shame this Publix is so close to my house because it is overwhelmingly my least favorite place to shop. Did you hear about the new flavor soda, chips, cheez-its, etc..? I can guarantee you won't find it here. Shelves are consistently out of stock, they never order new products, the deli counter staff is the most apathetic, slow, uncaring group of people ever, everyone in Boynton seems to bring their dogs in to shop with them, produce section is only half full, floral section is half dead, the cold drink cabinets at check out are usually warm, and the management just stands at the front watching everything and doing nothing. Went to this store yesterday to purchase 2 prime rib roasts as they were on sale. While I waiting on the butcher, I also picked up a strip roast, which were also on sale. As I was heading to the cashier, magically this Publix manager appears and says "good morning", I said good morning. Then I noticed that she had positioned herself in front of the double doors as if she's playing linebacker. I thought that was odd but didn't say anything as I was now in the check out line at this point. After I pay with the cashier, this same manager walks over and looks at my receipt and says "there is a 2 roast limit on those and I replied that I only bought two prime ribs and one strip roast. Without further comment she walks away. She certainly acted like she had an attitude, was rude, made me feel like she thought I was there to steal meat and then actually walked over to look at my receipt at the check out line to tell me the 3rd rib roast would cost me full price when I didn't even have a 3rd rib roast, just two. I'm very offended by this treatment and have been a patron of this store for many years, never approached this way before. She's a rather large, tall lady, next time I'm in the area I will stop in to get her name. It was around 9am on last Thursday morning. I could describe her fully but will get accused of being inappropriate , so I won't. read more

Supermarket Publix - that ubiquitous grocery store located on pretty much every corner of south Florida. Everyone seems to have a love / hate relationship with this brand of reseller and frankly, I am on the fence. Publix is one of those places that you need to go to and frankly, they just have certain things that are better than the lower priced options. In no particular order, the plusses are, in my opinion, the cold-cut / deli section and the wine section. Not too shabby are the seafood and produce sections and everything else is sort of equal to other retailers. The dry-goods sections can give you sticker shock in many cases.  I'm not saying you are going to get off cheaply in the other sections, but the other sections are somewhat elective such as you want Boar's Head cold cuts - you pay a premium.  A jar of Hellman's mayo on the other hand, should not be $3 more than any other store on earth. Publix is hard to avoid and well it is a necessary evil in a lot of cases. They are usually well stocked and this location is clean and brightly lit. The parking lot is a bit of a challenge, so use caution. read more

This is the 4th time I've gone to this Publix and their seafood steamer is down. I love buying seafood from Publix and having them steam it but their steamer seems to be always down so I have to travel to another Publix :(. read more

Had to worst experience today at Publix deli at this location. I ordered two subs from my Publix app that was supposed to be ready at 12:15 and my boyfriend went to pick them up and they were not ready... He then waited in line for at least 20 minutes to order the same subs that still weren't made by the time he was done in that line. I don't know about you, but my time is valuable and we ordered ahead of time because we have things to do. I think it is very disturbing that these idiots can't even do their job. I will never return to this Publix. And I suggest that everyone else go to a different location. And as I was writing this review I was just informed that the workers at Publix almost put ham salad on my sub instead of tuna... I'm a pescatarian, and that could've made me really sick. Here's an idea Publix why don't you hire some people that are competent instead of these fucking idiots that could've put me in the hospital. read more

The only reason they got more than one star is because of the pharmacy. The pharmacy literally saves this entire store. I used to love this place, (like the motto says) but it has since gone down hill. Now I only shop here out of convenience when I ABSOLUTELY have to. Much like the ghetto Wally world. The only part of this Publix that is worth a nickel is the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are the BEST! Always smiling, happy, call me by my 1st name and love my PTSD dog Bella in fact Bella wags her tail and smiles as soon as she sees the pharmacists! Just recently I filled my order with Mandy and Miriam. Now Mandy is an inturn and Miriam is the pharmacist they deserve 5 stars all of their own! Both fantastic women in their own right and brightened up my day after dealing with Publix (and the public) being out of everything (Almond milk, whipped cream cheese, country white bread). Meanwhile expiration dates still being on the shelves, me bringing it to the attention of customer service while Chrissy at Customer service rolls her eyes at me...... This store needs a complete overhaul. If it weren't for the fact that it were so close I would never shop here again. Maybe I would still get my medicine from here because like I said, it is the only pharmacy worth anything. So, to sum up, Love the pharmacy detest the store and all its expired products. That is if they have it in the 1st place in stock. Get to work guys. I miss the old days when you guys were awesome. Please do better. read more

Just another typical Publix. it's right around the corner from my house, so I use this one all the time. Sometimes awake can be a little bit long to check out, not my experience today. Very quick and easy. I ordered a birthday cake, it looks like the name is slightly misspelled, but not a really big deal. It could just be the way the writing is in cursive. Sometimes I enjoy the conversations when I'm paying for things and that helps distract me from things like the photos I posted. I'm mad that I spend my money there and they don't care to impress me a little bit. I picked this publix because of how close it is but I am more than willing to drive the extra 5 minutes, where they don't showcase soups that have been obviously sitting there all day. Do better publix, take a little more care of paying customers that keep you in business. read more

Grabbed a Starbucks and ran in for some groceries it's off of Congress st so it's always a little tough to get in and out of. Lots of parking and the is areas pretty nice. The store was clean the delis always busy so see if there's a line if so walk around and get your other groceries first. The bakery has sample chocolate chip cookies I always ask for 2 for the 2 kids I don't have. So times check out lines are long but it's still the best grocery store that I've found. read more

Every Publix is pretty much the same to me except for two things: the deli and the pharmacy. The deli is very slow most of the time. Sometimes I'm at the deli counter for 15 minutes waiting. Also, a lot of the workers back there are a little bit rude. The pharmacy is very slow and time consuming too. Nice workers here though. Other info... Good bogo deals. It's Publix, so you know what you're getting. They have great BOGO deals, prices a bit higher than everywhere else. But on ready to eat things it is a disaster. This is the second time I've bought fruit here that is nasty. This time the cantaloupe had bites taken out of it. The time before, it had a smiley face carved into it. Stay away from their poultry, it is garbage. Rated by inspectors at a level D quality. Everytime I buy chicken here it smells funny and tastes worse. read more

At Customer Service desk I was greeted by Darla. I presented 2 items along with my receipt and advised I didn't receive the BOGO discount. Darla backed away from me and said "We don't take returns...". I said it wasn't a return, I brought the items for verification and an adjustment. She repeated "we don't take returns..." "you didn't even buy it at this store" and other rude, unnecessary comments and ignored me. I asked to speak to the Asst Manager nearby. At the end of her curt and unprofessional service, Darla stated "Thank you for making my job harder". I shared her behaviors with the same Mgr. Also, while shopping for disinfectant wipes, I asked an employee which isle to find them. On the shelf identified as 'Lysol Disinfectant Wipes', I found containers of "Real Simple Compostable Wipes" distributed by Clorox company. Once home, I found the product contained No Antibacterial components. Since Publix is not accepting returns and not wanting to be subjected to Darla's indignation, I'm stuck with a product of no use to me. Won't be patronizing this store again read more
