Fairly cheap and the service was friendly when I set it up. The app is super easy to use. My only complaint is that I feel like no one cleans the common areas. The same two dead roaches were in there the entire time I had my storage unit (since January). It would also be nice if they enforced some rules about courtesy. There were often vehicles parked in the dead center of the lane while people were just hanging out when they had plenty of room on either side to park. The staff that works here is nice, but the facility is a pain in the butt to use. I've been there for 10 years (don't even ask what my rent is now) and the few times I have actually had to go there, half have been a pain. For example, today I went there and met a bunch of people to move some stuff out. All the doors and gates were locked and nobody picked up the phone. There was a line of people waiting by the time I drove 30 mins home, got my gate code information, and came back. That wasn't fun. The facility is pretty clean and safe, but between the prices I'm paying now and the problems mentioned above, I'm glad this is my last month. read more

The lady who worked in the office was very helpful & courteous. I do like to use the phone app to open the gate when I arrive.

The young lady there "Josie" was an absolute doll to do business with, she was knowledgeable, professional, great appearance and smile! Worst storage place ever. Rodent and roach infested!! Rats ate through the wires of my hot tub. Was forced to use roach bombs every week to keep boxes and furniture from being infested. Complained to management and was told I should more insurance to my policy to pay for damage. Very disgusting place!!!! read more

First month $1?!? What a deal! What they don't tell you, it that you are required to pay $10 for their insurance on your stuff plus tax. Even added onto the monthly $79 charge, that's not bad. What's bad is steadily raising your rates every year. No loyalty for longevity whatsoever. My monthly bill was over $150 by the time I moved out of my 10x10 non climate controlled unit. Now for the fun part. After years of being stored, I noticed that one of my wooden headboards had water damage, and all of my stuff was infested with bugs. I told the clerk at the desk, and the young lady gave me a flier for their third party insurance company, Orange Door. When I contacted them, I suddenly had to pay a $100 deductible, and would only get up to $2000. After filing my claim, now they wanted me to file a separate claim for "vermin" and that would pay a maximum of $200. When I returned to the office to discuss the misgivings with the clerk, she continuously repeated that they have nothing to do with the insurance company, almost as if it was practiced. Being that it was the first day of the month, I asked if I could move all my things out that day, and she responded that I would still be responsible for an entire month's rent. I responded that I found that policy ridiculous, and she immediately snapped back that my credit would be affected if I didn't pay. She responded with a few more snide remarks on my way out the door. When I tried to contact ANY phone number for Public Storage, I would be directed to that specific location, making it impossible to air a complaint to anyone above who is in the store. Horrible customer service, rude staff, and an even worse insurance scam. read more

If I could give less stars I would. My brother had a storage unit with this facility. He passed away in April. He had many problems with them but after his death they got far worse. We have tried to access his belonging since May. We tried in April but did not have the death certificate yet. We were told we couldn't have access but they still wanted payment. Thru research of our own found out we could send in certain paperwork and should be able to get in. We did everything necessary then were told no again. I have spend literally hours on the phone getting the run around. Finally the district manager called back thinking I was someone else. Rude would be an understatement with this conversation. I was finally about to convince him to let us pay the storage cost minus the late fees since they knew in April that he passed. When my aunt went to pay they still tried to charge her the full price as well as a cleaning fee. The fact that they tried to take advantage of a grieving family this way is just disgusting. read more

I quickly stopped in to pick up information for my sister who is moving to the area and the lady I spoke to was just great. Eilen (sp) was so helpful with her answers. She quickly gave me a pamphlet and made sure I had the company's information to give my sister. What I thought would be a dragged out waste of my time she turned into a pleasant encounter. Protect you thing by finding a better storage company. Highly upset and disappointed with my Public Storage experience. I joined the United States Army in April of this year and decided to store my belongings here while I was away for training based off the good review's I read. After my training was complete I returned home to have my things moved to my duty station. When I opened the unit again in September there was clearly a huge rodent problem. On top of that the roof had a hole in it and water had been dripping all over everything. Most of my things in the unit were fairly new and expensive. The vermin insurance policy for public storage is ridiculous only covering $250 at the max for all damage. I was paid for the water damage but my losses greatly exceeded that. In my opinion I felt that because of all the problems with the unit, they should have waived my payment for that last month at least. I called the corporate office several times to discuss the situation and the big boss, (Justin?) Who they kept sending me to, was never available. Still I left messages and the calls were never returned. This morning I received a phone call from some debt collectors saying that I owe Public Storage money. Leave to go serve my country and have to come back to nothing. I know that was a mouth full but people need to know what they may be getting into. Something my have sentimental value to you and trust me when I say that rats eat everything! Also don't trust all of these positive review's on here. They asked me to go online and give them 5 stars and type a nice review even before I moved my things into the unit so I'm sure other people were told the same thing.
