Mike was particularly timely in calling me after I made an online registration for an airconditioned unit. Then learning they were in short supply, he encouraged me to come up and see what he had. I rented a unit and 3 days later were all moved in. The facility is clean, and the air conditioning is set at 77 degrees so I have confidence that the contents of my unit will not be harmed by Florida's heat and humidity! Management did not inform us of a break-in which led to not knowing our unit had been broken into for a few months. Their rates are higher than others in the area. If they give you a good rate, then expect it to increase significantly every 6 months. Our rate increased 20% or $100 per month recently which is why we're moving out. read more

If I could give zero I would! I called and asked about their climate controlled units and got one under the assumption that it actually was climate control. come to find out our couch was completely covered and mold and lots of mold all over our brand new bed. It is very hot in the building even though it's climate controlled. I even contacted the manager about it and she said that it's what they can do. It's the lowest they can go. She told me she would call me back and never did. Plus very expensive after six months of being there they hiked up our price $70. read more

Theft alert!! You might want to check your storage unit. The units are not fully enclosed at the top to prevent theft. We had a collection of small items that was stolen from our unit. I would highly recommend not putting anything small that is of great value in the storage units here. Also there are no surveillance cameras on the 2nd floor. read more

Highly recommend this location. I worked with Caleb who could not have been more friendly and helpful. We went through pricing options and size options. He took me over to the unit to make certain I could open the main door and was ok with my unit. Additionally he sent me e-mails throughout my first week to make sure I had no issues or problems, which I didnt. Location is very clean and well kept on the inside, as well as climate controlled. Poor customer service and the rent dramatically increases each year. The company does not base their rent on surrounding commercial property as they would like you to believe! Instead they operate on the theory that once your belongings are stored, it will be too difficult or costly to leave. Essentially they take advantage of their long term customers and offer specials to newcomers. Don't be lured into the web. Public Storage's prices are so inflated that it is more cost effective to rent a studio apartment in Ponte Vedra, than secure two storage units. In addition to the costs, they often perform routine maintenance that dislodges the roofing material onto your stored belongings. This has happened to me on two different occasions. I have to disagree with Dana's review. After a hectic move from CA to FL.. I had to quickly find somewhere to store many items. It was like a bad scene from Storage Wars! The moving truck arrived 5 days early, and it happened to be on a day units were for auction. After driving cross country for 4 days... my brain could not longer function. Tanya,an employee and my guardian angel, took charge! She got me the best possible unit... cleared the driveway for the 18 wheeler moving van, and checked on me from time to time to ease my nerves. My monthly fee never changed. She treats you like a friend.. and looks out for your well being. Her coworker( name escapes me) was just as helpful. 5 stars!! If everyone in the South is just as nice as these folks... I just might like it here. Not used to Mosquitos, bad hair days, this insane humidity, the biblical thunderstorms, and these large cockroaches called Palmetto bugs! In summary.. you can shop around but you will find nothing better! read more

I would give this company 0/5 stars if it was possible. Before move in I was told that the building prorates for the month of move in and move out. At move out I was informed that that that was a courtesy and that that they don't do that anymore and didn't feel the need to notify any of their clients of the change. Upon contacting the district manager, Erin, she was unsympathetic and unhelpful. Had I been informed that they didn't prorate I would have either moved out at the end of a pay period or rented from a smaller company who cared about their clients. Paying over $150 to a company for over half a month of unused space is a complete rip off. I was even told by the manager of this specific location that they agreed it was a rip off, but if was their executives decision. Hindsight is 20/20 as at move in the locks on the "securely locked building" were broken, and I should have taken this as a sign to run from this company. read more
