That facility is brand new and super clean. Online rental, and fist time access was a breeze.

Nothing improved, and customer service got way worse. They were rude, never answered their phone and when I brought up the 10 dollar increase the 3rd time, I was told I was "lucky it's still so cheap". That was the one time I've ever gotten a response from them. When I called to make sure my cancellation went through, the man was so rude and hung up so abruptly now that I'm no longer a customer, I assume. With the weather, so much of my stuff was ruined and the unit was infested with spiders. The dust and dirt was equally bad.

I have a second floor storage unit in a 5x10. Honestly it's much better and bigger than I thought it was. They have carts/flatbeds near the front of the doors for the indoor climate controlled storage to help you load your belongings into the building. They hold quite a bit and move easily. Take your time going around the corner with big loads or else you could lose some stuff or run into a person that may be coming. It's nice and quiet in the storage facility. The storage facility provides you a lock and shows you exactly how to use it. The husband and wife I worked with were very patient with both myself and another customer who was in before me. They do offer 2500$ worth of property coverage for an additional $10 at the time of this review. They have both autopay or on demand pay (where you call in to pay). They do check monthly to verify if your lock is still on the door before billing you. They do request a notice of writing for when you leave before next month billing, I think it's 10 days. However you can email them to communicate when your rental is ending. They do not give out the gate code to anyone unless they're on the list for your unit and they will ID you. They're hours of operation is 6AM to 9PM. After 9 pm you will be locked in and will have to call law enforcement to let you out in which you will be billed at least $25 for. If the property has to cut your lock it is a $25 fee and you have to do it according to the office managements schedule. This location does also rent out uhaul trucks. They do not accept uhaul trailers.

Unsatisfactory customer services…read more I have no signed contract with company, as they took over from previous owner and failed to provide notification. They are now trying to collect rent for December after moving out and told by their employee nothing owned. Now stating on phone it will go to collections if not paid, when contesting the bill. Save yourself a headache, do not recommend.

Public Storage Purchased this location from Arizonia Storage Company and names changed on 11/4/24…read more The Prior Management Team and Company was Extremely helpful and cared about their customers and helping them out. Had a Unit with Arizonia Storage Company and had a Paid Contract. When Public Storage purchased the Location, we revived notice of change in price. Went in to talk to the office on a Tuesday and they said they could not honor the original paid contract they would have to contact the regional manager and get back to use. a few hours later the office called and said they are going to honor the Contract, and we do not have any payment due until the end of the paid contract. The next day log in to the Customer Portal to make sure this was reflected on the account. and it was not. Stopped in the office on Wed. and they now are telling us no they are not honoring the contract. we would have to make a full payment of $309 more over what was paid on the first lease with the other company. (if you go online or call the rate that is beeing offered is about $65 less than what they wanted to charge with the new contract that was offered to us). or need to vacate out of the unit by 11/28/24 they Will not Honer the Paid Contract and demanded new Lease with a Very Hefty Price increase for the Unit. They told us we would have to get our payments that was paid from the original owners, also refused to honor the hours of access that was given in the original contract. It has been now more then 20 days after they have taken over and they still do not have the Elevators fixed for customers on the 2nd floor they have to use the Stairs to access their units. I would not Recommend this Company to even my Worst Enemy Wish we could Leave a No Star rating. All the Review's prior to 11/4/24 are not Public Storage.

I've only been renting a unit from this place for about 2 months now and in the beginning things…read moreseemed to be ok I recently went to my storage unit and walked into it and the light that was supposed to come on didn't I saw one of the workers there who was cleaning and I asked him about it he stated to me they work off of motion detection and acted like he couldn't be bothered to assist me I said maybe the bulb was burned out and he assured me it wasn't I went back into my unit and tried walking around Making plenty of motion and it stil didl not turn on I walked back out to the guy and said maybe you can try. He walked in to my unit and then walked back out again acting like he was put out of having to assist me I said well can I get the bulb changed out and again he said it wasn't the bulb and said it's just a poor design with the lighting here and laughed then shrugged his shoulders and walked away with his trash can and cleaning supplies and went upstairs I pay almost 200.00 a month and even thought the light to begin with isn't that bright I still should be able to see in my unit....if it wasn't such a hassle to pack and move my stuff up I'd go to another storage facility and would recommend that if you need a storage unit don't go here and go somewhere else I only give them a 2 stars because the 1st guy who signed me up was nice and pleasant to work with

David says he doesn't care about reviews because they don't affect his business…read morehe says that his units are 98% full and that's probably why he was so quick to vacate mine in such a hurry throwing all my s*** to someone else's auction so he could rent out the unit again and profit from the removal of my things in the auction that auction money goes somewhere probably towards his pocket. Good news is I'll never have to deal with that loser again and I won't be ever storing my stuff ever if the storage unit takes your stuff more than leaving it on the street why would you store it for that kind of money why would you spend all your time and effort and money to get stuff into storage just to have them take it all. It's not even logical even a stupid person shouldn't be doing that. And their version of noticing me that my stuff is going to go my stuff is overdue it said call us when you get a chance that doesn't sound like urgent pay us quick before we auction your stuff. The entire purpose of putting things in storage is so that they'll stay there until you come and get them out not till they decide to move them out for you. As far as wide and I pay I wasn't sure how far behind I was but I knew I was a little behind so I called him up and he said too bad so sad we already got rid of your stuff. And then to add insult to injury he tries to make me take accountability which is his big stuff. Says he doesn't feel a bit sorry for me and I need to pay my stuff on time what did I think would happen. Of course I knew what would happen if it stayed too long I read the contract just like he did. Unfortunately they did not successfully contact me they made a few weak attempts then they took my stuff. So I asked my other landlords of storage units and they said they would never ever do that to their customers so don't tell me this is what the industry standard is supposed to be you're just a jerk an idiot and you deserve whatever bad karma comes your way. One day you'll be the one on the wrong end of this kind of transaction and I won't feel bit sorry for you either. Well from here on out I'm going on with the rest of my life but I'm never ever going to store my stuff in a storage unit and 100% chance never ever in an extra space storage facility in Maricopa. It's overpriced and they don't value you as a customer you're just money coming in. The location in San Tan Valley they treated me like gold. What a difference between run run well and run poorly.. So David doesn't care about reviews they don't affect him so why am I writing it I don't know I thought it does affect him I thought it affects the entire industry when they don't treat their customers well and everybody finds out about it.
