This has to be the worse storage place in the Carolina's. My unit door was damaged and looked like someone backed into it. My couches got molded because of the mositure in the unit. The customer service rep was disrepectful and not willing to help. Please stay away from this place. Its overpriced, undermanaged and the staff is disrespectful. read more

I just recently started buying auctioned off storage buildings. That is what brought me to this location. I called ahead of time and spoke with their representative Teresa. Ask for more information as I was still new to the process. She gave me information I needed. I go to the facility and she is working behind the desk. She remembers me from calling her earlier. She explained how they do things and then she met me at the unit number that I had just purchased the auctioned off contents. She gave me the option to not buy it, I guess if I didn't like what I seen or changed my mind. Of course the sell went on, that's why I bid on it. She was very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable about the things that were discussed. I wouldn't mind if I got to be assisted by her every time. Thank you so much Teresa read more

My daughter is a freshman an HPU and this was our first time renting a storage unit...,Brooke made everything so easy, explained the master lock system well, gave us lots of tips, was friendly and sweet, and super fast ! I have had this storage unit at Public Storage on English Rd. in High Point for almost 3 years. I am moving my things out this week due to a few different things. Let's start from the beginning. In October 2013 I began to rent this unit as I was moving out of a larger townhouse back home with my parents. For the first 6 months, things went fine. Rent price was reasonable and I encountered no problems. After 1 year, the rent went up which was not a huge problem but not welcomed either. Then after about year 2, the rent increased again. At this point, rent for a 10x10 standard unit was $107 which included the $9 charge for insurance. While I thought this was a bit high I stayed because of the good service I had gotten up to this point. Once moved into the unit in 2013, the light inside the unit never worked. It was not an issue as I usually went during the day and didn't need additional light inside. After a few times of going early morning or after sunset, I realized that the light was very necessary. I asked the office to replace the bulb and then realized that it was more of a mechanical issue. It took from November 2015 until May 2016 for them to fix the problem. The office mentioned that the tenant usually is responsible for issues like that but since they "promised" they would fix it, they did. After that experience and the rent going up to $120 as of July 1, 2016 I am moving my things to a local storage company that is $55 for the same size building and kicking myself for not doing this in the first place. While the experience wasn't completely horrible, I would advise anyone to go with a local business if possible to give back to small businesses and hopefully avoid overhead costs and get better customer service. read more

Never renting from Public Storage again. Had many issues getting my initial payment posted when I moved in and even had to go back the next day to work on it some more. Then 2 months later received a notice from a collection agency wanting payment. Went back to the site and she said there was no problem with my account. Called collection agency and they said I was behind on a May payment. I didn't even rent the unit until August. Can't get it straight!! NEVER AGAIN! read more
