THANK GOD I WAS COVERED UNDER INSURANCE! I had rat boo boo and piss all over my storage and the manager had the nerve to charge a 200+ clean up fee for two units I rented". and they didn't give me my units for free they tried to still charge me! please do not go here this place has a very bad serious rat infestation!!! very unclean!!! i only rented here after a 26 hour drive from out of state and it was closer to my family's home where i would temporarily stay!! after a few months all my things have rat urine and poop all over them!!! i cant move this into my new apartment like this!!!! they offer no assistance!! but threaten you with additional charges if i dont move all my things out or leave behind unwanted or damaged items!! management has no empathy or concern to even send professional exterminators to the the unit or property to help remove these rodents!!! i have to pay over $2000.00 dollars for professional cleaners and movers and yet still pay them storage fees!!! their orange insurance plan only will pay $250 after they take $100 deductible!! it is all beyond ridiculous to me!!! pls again do not use this place!! i lost most of my life belonging in this place!!! its a true horrible nightmare!!! it needs to be shut down!! asap!!! public storage on 1048 e seminary drive tx fort!!!! read more

I see poor reviews here, but they are older also. I have had a fine experience here. I started out with one unit and realized not long into the load that it would be insufficient. I talked to the manager, Justin, and he helped me into a larger unit and we canceled the smaller one once i got emptied. Justin does roam the lot and not just sit at the office. He will ask if you need anything and if everything is OK. ​He also does recognize the neighborhood issues and is concerned about the security of the lot. I've used a number of storages over the years, and I would rate this one as the best, mainly because of Justin's interest in his position. The units I saw were in good condition, doors and latches all were in operational condition. I feel good having my stuff here as long as he is in charge. read more

I definitely would not recommend this place. There area is sketchy. There was a fire at the location and we were never notified. Multiple break ins and never notified. Our unit was attempted to be broken into and we were never notified. They were never available if we had questions and if they were available they were not pleasant to deal with. The gate hours are unreasonable. And when I moved out (prior to the first) and advised them on the first, then they are charging me for an additional month after move out. And how convenient, I can't access my agreement to review it. read more

I reserved a location here online and it was cancelled without notifying me, I only found out when I called to confirm. I reserved another and paid for it online, once I got there and saw that the doors were too small for my furniture I canceled it and was told that I would need to call the online for a refund. I paid $164 and only had the reservation for 2 days and went to see the location and saw that the doors were too small so I canceled and they only refunded me for a key which was $20. As far as the app and the ease of renting online without having any personal contact with anyone I would would give it a 5 star rating. The same goes for the space I rented. The only problem or concern was there was people that looked maybe homeless inside the fenced area. One couple on foot pushing a grocery basket and another man on a bicycle. I believe the couple had a space there but the man on the bicycle I'm not sure. They were still there when I left after unloading my truck. read more

Okay Tangie helped me out yesterday when I was trying to find a storage unit last minute, a made an online reservation and because yesterday was so hectic I left my phone and wallet at the house by accident, she said there was nothing else we could do then thought hey make a new reservation in my boyfriends name since he actually had his id only problem his phone was dead so then we have to find out how we're going to get it booked with out access to websites. So I ask can I use the phone and she lets me, thank god, call my mom and my mom books it for us, the reason we didn't book her location was because they aren't climate controlled which sucked but the fact that she was nice enough to help us get a different location with no problem made us show what type of employee she is definitely loved her customer service it was beyond great read more

My access code was not working and there was no one in the front office from 9am until 4pm. The customer service people took over 45 minutes to answer only to be transferred to another department and put on hold for another 45 mins. When that person came on line he said that there is nothing he can do because my code should work and I should talk to the person at the office... whom I told him wasn't there all day! He was trite and stated there was nothing he can do and doesn't control the office personnel. Also I would just have to wait. Being from out of state and leaving the next day I needed access to the facility for my daughters dorm room belongings. He said that there was nothing he can do and I would just have to wait. A kind patron who has a space there lent me their passcode to get in and out of the facility... this all said THIS IS A PATHETICALLY HORRIBLE facility to rent from and the corporate customer service is some of the worst I have experienced.
