I could tell her what I needed and trust that it was handled, which is pretty much the best thing you can ask for on a wedding day. And then there was Josh! He was absolutely fabulous behind the bar. Great personality, wonderful with the guests, accommodating, and just genuinely fun to have there. He fit right into the day and the vibe of the wedding. The signature lavender lemon drop was a huge hit, too! Josh also handled champagne pours in the main reception area in addition to serving guests at the bar, helping everything flow smoothly without missing a beat. I would work with Ronnie and Josh again in a heartbeat. Fizz & Flow was one of those vendors that simply made my job easier, and that says a lot!

We very easily could have been defeated by the situation, but the staff at Opal 28 always made us feel supported and positive that our event would be amazing! Even though people were working remotely and, I'm sure, dealing with their own stresses, there was never a lapse in time for communication and answers to any and all of my questions that came up over that year. Often times, my questions were met with so many thoughtful options and possibilities that it was clear the Opal 28 staff was a trusted team with a ton of experience! On the big day, the staff took all of the decorating and arranging into their own capable hands and off of mine and the venue looked even better than we imagined! I love the flow of the space, giving guests different areas to visit in both indoors and out. The food was impeccable and I should mention that in the time between booking the venue and having our wedding, we had gone totally vegan and wanted a plant-based menu. The chef came up with an entire list of possibilities and everyone was blown away that it was a totally vegan menu. Having the available apartments upstairs was also a huge help as we were able to add one for the night to use as a staging and changing area and place to store extra needed items. I can never thank the staff of Opal 28 enough for their care and professionalism and ability to keep everything positive and calm in the face of so many unknowns. I highly recommend this venue for any and all festivities and look forward to visiting again!

They customized three cocktails for us and even drew us a gorgeous chalkboard that had our specialty cocktail names on it. Also love the fact that they have a small seating space in back - Perfect for ducking out of a busy event or fun for taking photographs with friends. The bartenders could not be friendlier and the drinks could not be more amazing! Kate worked with our budget to meet our needs and even handled the drinkware rentals for our event. She was such a pleasure to work with and always quick to respond. Now I just need an excuse for another event so we can hire them again!!!

After looking through a ton of confusing wedding websites that make you fill out a form to learn pricing, it was refreshing how transparent Significa's cost is. They have different packages that you can customize for exactly the hours and features you want. Collin and Jay more than lived up to that first impression that this small business is driven to deliver on personalized, great experiences throughout the entire process of planning for a big event. We hired Significa to run the Magic Mirror Photobooth and DJ'ing at our wedding. Collin and Jay were both extremely professional to work with and quick in responding to emails. I always heard back from Collin same day (if not within an hour), even when reaching out on a weekend. Meeting them in-person to talk through what we were looking for, I found them both personable, considerate of what we wanted, and dedicated to providing outstanding experiences to their clients during planning and the big day. Collin bent over backwards to accommodate my procrastination on our photo book, coordinating with a vendor and communicating with me to rush the order through. I was very impressed with: (1) having all my entertainment needs provided by one company (2) the level of customer service provided throughout the whole process and (3) that the photo booth and music selections are highly customizable! Lastly, I have to say that the magic mirror photo booth is SO cool. It really doesn't come through how fun and modern it is until you see it and use it in person. Everyone at the event loved it. I will definitely use Significa for my photo booth and DJ needs in the future, and am passing their name around to all my friends and colleagues.

I called Soiree and lucky me, they were still free for Labor Day weekend. I talked to Molli and Krissa, and they were able to lower their rate (since I picked a venue they knew well) that was within my wedding budget. They offer a great variety of services, and had I known sooner that planning a wedding required so much work, I would have totally hired them to do the whole thing from the start. Since I'm not local, most of our "meetings" and information exchange was done over the phone and via email (yay for modern technology). Krissa was able to coordinate and effectively handle all the follow ups and pointed out a lot of details that I had totally either forgotten or not known about. She was available to discuss my last minute changes and ideas and make recommendations for our wedding. Our wedding was a complete success. Most people have told me it's been one of the best weddings they've been to (definitely ranking high on the "best wedding food" list as well). I'm glad everyone had such a great time - and I know it wouldn't have run as smoothly if I hadn't hired Soiree. Even the smallest weddings require a lot of planning, and as a bride on the big day, there are many other things to be pretty and dolled up for - no need to worry with a great wedding coordinator!

I'm glad we hired them and I'm glad we spent the money to have a coordinator to take care of the day so none of us had to! The reason they don't get 5 stars is that the actual day-of, I had a hard time finding the coordinator. I was the bride, I was busy, obviously, but people kept coming to me with questions. Vendors, people involved in the wedding. I kept having to tell them "please find the coordinator." I didn't want to be involved in any of the logistics on that day, which is why we hired Soiree. It was frustrating having to tell so many different people involved to do this and that really irritated me. I also felt like I never saw the coordinator. I wanted someone to be on top of the timeline and coming to tell us when we needed to be somewhere for something (example: is it time to do the first look pictures, etc?). But that never really happened. I realize that she was busy coordinator all the behind the scenes stuff that I wasn't involved in, but some guidance would have been nice. I don't regret hiring Soiree but I do wish that they had been a little more accessible on that day.
