She loved the school but it needed a lot of physical work. Ceilings falling in, walls cracking and extremely bad electrical system. She had a teacher whom was extremely sick and my daughter had multiple substitutes and all the students were behind. But the staff was friendly and teachers were knowledgable.

Curtis was drenched head to toe in Nike. Henry.... well... I don't know what to say about him... he was kinda a trouble maker, but he was funny. OOF, then there's Demarcus. He was a bad, bad, bad, child. He would get into fights with Henry when school was dismissed on Fridays. everyone would pile in to see the fight. it was awesome. Demarcus always won though, because he was a meathead. And don't get me started on that kid Demario. He was WILD. He would pop off at people, and Jessica would have to basically babysit him in Miss. Jp's class. Then there's Nyla. She used to annoy people with her constant singing. legends say that she still shows off till this day. And Mr. Thirkill. He was an awesome principal. Miss. Harris. she was nice, and she could tell when students were lying. Then there was this one ragamuffin, who couldn't keep her mouth shut. she was so dumb and she couldn't do anything for herself. I stopped being friends with her in middle school because she was just fake. I hope she gets paddled one day.... she's still in middle school because she flunked, so she's still a child. paddling sessions are in order. Then there was another kid, he was whiny and annoying. I lowkey regret being mean to him. He sometimes had his okay moments. BUT... HE CRIED ABOUT EVERYTHING, AND I WANTED HIM TO STOP CRYING BECAUSE HE WAS ANNOYING. A'Tavious and I made a fire mixtape about him. it goes as follows: Yo [INSERT KID'S NAME HERE] you're gonna get a beat down. I am gonna make you cry cause tonight, you're gonna get a beat down. Then there was Coach Hendricks. she was an awful PE teacher. she would always tell us to work our bodies, not our mouths, but you can obviously see that she had been bending her rules. She brings food into the gym and makes it smell like a burger joint. She used to take our snacks and lunch money. There was a time when she took Henry's chips and ate them in front of us. we were all peeved. Like i said before, Orchard Knob Elementary was an amazing school, filled with amazing memories and memes. I am a Sophmore in high school at the moment, but i stilll think about OKES. Thank you for training my brain from Pre-k to 5th grade.

Cleveland State is one of Cleveland's greatest assets in my opinion…read more Perched in Cleveland's northern on the side of Candies Creek Ridge, this two year community college has significantly increased its graduation rate over the last several years. I recall going here right out of high school back in 1996. Although I didn't graduate at that time, it was a great place to go to allow me to transition from high school to college life. I've since earned a B. S. from another local school but Cleveland State is where I started. With the programs that CSCC offers and the emphasis that Tennessee places on higher education, if you live in the Cleveland area, there's no excuse for you to not be taking a class or two each semester. Even if you're not trying to earn a degree, the offered courses will still help you in your career or help you change a career. Stop by and talk to a counselor.

Cleveland State Community College is one of the biggest joke of a college in the area. None of…read moretheir staff is trained. The advisors have no idea what they are doing, and do not help you plan or set up your classes to help you have a plan or teach you how to navigate college. Their business office is completely ridiculous and will have you running all over the place giving you the wrong information, that changes every time you talk to someone different. The financial aid office is probably the worst department in the whole school. Not one person in the place knows anything, and they wont let you speak with anyone who does. Forget about reaching out for help if you are taking a Tn ecampus class, there is no help, and no one at the school will help you. No matter how many emails you send, no matter how many times you go up to the school, no matter how many times you call. CSCC is notorious for giving students and parents the run around. I would recommend driving to Chattanooga and attending Chattanooga state if you are planning to attend community college.
