First off the place is massive and great for families and large groups. Our waiter was extremely friendly and hospitable. As for food, we had the tartar to start and as someone who has had tartar most of my life (wife is also polish) this was one of the best I've had. Tons of flavour non of which overpowered the meat. For main course I had the duck. All i can say is OMG. Not to mention that my 1.5 year old daughter loved it too! My wife had the warm goat cheese salad and duck pierogis. The pierogis were excellent. Duck was very well seasoned and juicy and the dough was on point . We were to full to really enjoy the salad but from the couple of bites that we had it too was delicious. It wasn't anything special but just what you'd expect from a salad with huge piece of goat cheese on top It's a 15 min walk from the old town (St Mary's church). I think it only has the 1 review because it's out of the way and most tourists get trapped by the abundance of restaurants in the old town. I'm sure they're all good but if you have the time to trek out here I'd highly recommend it

Best pierogis I've had in Poland so far. Based on the…read moresuggestion of the man who waited on me, I chose the spinach and feta pierogis (normally I'm a meat lover too). Wow! So glad I did! They were perfectly cooked and bursting with yummy, garlicky flavor. They were also quite filling which I don't always find with potato or meat pierogis. Also had the carrot, apple, ginger juice which was also quite tasty. The pierogis may have pine nuts so check in case you're allergic (I'm not but something I noted). Pricing: most restaurants in the main streets of Gdansk want 22-40ztl for pierogis and here they were only 16. Very good deal and you still have the luxury of dining on their large patio. Service was good. People working there were kind.

OMG HOW MUCH I LOVED THIS PLACE…read more But first things first, the atmosphere there is so amazing, you can see that people working there genuinely like this place and each other. And that's so important. We were served by amazing girl that was caring and so nice. She kept giving us water so we didn't get hangover next day. Loved it! Drinks were delicious but stronger than I expected. It's good, it means that they don't cheat with alcohol. They have variety of drinks, so you will definitely find something for yourself. I'm going to visit this place next time when I visit Gdańsk.
