UNCLEAN AND LIARS; DON'T BRING ELDERLY HERE! (READ UPDATES)…read more FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Our first few minutes in the facility, and this is the "clean room" we walked into: random hair on the AC, a pile of blue clothing in the corner, a brown stain on the blanket, a dirty toilet, trash on the floor, and a very stuffy atmosphere. No greeting, no welcome, nothing. I will reconsider updating this review if we receive proper care, or if we decide to transfer elsewhere. UPDATE: I asked the morning janitor to clean the restroom. She used a dirty brush and some strange, foul-smelling soap water to scrub the floors. Then, when I asked if she could also clean the toilet, she used the same brush she had just used on the floor to scrub the toilet. UPDATE #2: - THE BAD: Our loved one was tired and wanted to leave the facility. We told the admissions staff that we would be leaving, and multiple staff members came and checked her out. They all said she was allowed to go, as my mother explained that we have home services that can provide the same care she received in the facility. We then asked a rehabilitation staff member if we could take a belt home. She brought it and asked her supervisor, who then said she would report us and have all of our loved one's benefits taken away if we decided to leave against medical advice. This was despite us telling them multiple times that she would be with someone 24/7, just as we had been with her while in the facility, and that she already receives home care. They then claimed that if we left against medical advice, we would be responsible for paying for her stay and that Medicare would not cover any portion of it. A simple Google search I did before walking into the admissions office confirmed that this is not true and that it is a common myth or false claim that nursing homes sometimes spread. I asked the admissions staff to show me the law or rule in writing, but she claimed that they were not allowed to print anything out. When I asked her to show it on the computer instead, she tried to change the subject. After calling the nursing director and explaining again that we are with her 24/7 and that she already receives home care services, they now claim, "Oh, why didn't you just tell us that in the first place?" and attempted to make the situation seem like a misunderstanding. It appears to be a case of uneducated staff spreading false information, seemingly to pressure families or generate money. Do not bring your loved ones here unless you hate them. The admissions staff also tried to make my mother seem uneducated. While my mother may not speak English as fluently as you, she clearly knows enough English to work in America, drive a Mercedes, own multiple Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags, and live in a house that they could only wish they could afford. - THE GOOD: Nurse Kim and the other staff who actually saw our loved one on a recurring basis were kind and professional, as all healthcare workers should be.

She thought she was better than me but she met her match because I was talking to my physical therapist and she interjected herself into the conversation and I turned to her and said " little annoying brats need to learn their place and I suggest you find that place before I cause a scene" and she went to the facility director and told on me OH WELL IF YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE NEEDS REHABILITATION DON'T GO HERE
