They really put their heart into it and if you need severe rehab rehabilitation after say a head injury this is the place to go to get them rehabilitated.. I wish my husband could stay longer here. First, they tried to ignore severe pain and muscle spams due to nerve damage in my hip that…read moreoccurred during my knee replacement surgery as "a little soreness after surgery." I had to force the issue of effectively treating the situation and it still took them 10 days before they bothered to do the correct treatment that should have been done on postop day 2. This borders on malpractice. Secondly, when I was asked, I told them that I expected to be walking without a cane after surgery. I had been forced to use a cane for about 5-6 years prior to surgery due to safety concerns and the need to preserve what I could of being able to use the knee. My expectation of being able to walk normally was completely ignored. Instead, when I tried to walk without the cane, I was told to keep using the cane. This continued throughout my entire time in rehab. Somehow they thought that using the cane was going to help me be able to walk without it. Even I don't think that's right!! This means that I couldn't really walk when they decided to dismiss me from their care. They didn't care about getting to the correct place; all they cared about was that I could stand and waddle around a little with the cane. That is not good rehabilitation. It is coming up on a year since my surgery and I still cannot walk normally because they never appropriately addressed the problems in my hips that were caused by the use of the cane. Basically they expected me to figure it out on my own. I am going to have to go to a different doctor (not one who is part owner of this facility) and a different PT place in order to get proper medical care. I find that disgusting. I will never recommend this PT facility to anyone. At this point I am unsure if I will ever be able to return to my sport. They do not care about performance. Do they even know what that word means? They only care about money.

Children's Therapy Services is the place to go for many needs. They evaluated my son for autism,…read moreADHD, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. They are incredibly thorough, take the time to explain anything that you may need to understand further, make suggestions to help outside of their prescribed therapies, and always help me if I need to reschedule (even the day of our appointments). The therapists are wonderful and focus on positive interactions, give homework that we can practice outside of appointments, and never fail to send a reminder the day before our sessions. They even checked with our insurance to see if the regular copay would cover more time with a therapist, which helped my son reach his goals ahead of the predicted end-date. I recommend them to anyone who needs an evaluation or therapies, and will continue to do so.

I showed up a bit early and Sydney (my Occupational Therapist) was already there expecting me. She was very patient and helpful in finding the right one for me at the lowest possible cost. She also made sure I knew how to take the splint off. She also took time to explain how my injury was healing, so that I knew why I had to have the splint on 100% of the time over the next few weeks. The benefits coordinator (?) Sarah was also great, she had to stay on the phone with the insurance company while helping another patient check in as she came in. No one wishes to have to have PT or OT, but if you do, then SERC is the place to ensure a positive experience for you.
