Nothing concrete was ever addressed during therapy, and nothing positive came out of it. I know that's not much to go off of for a review. I am just here to affirm the low quality of care that others have also clearly expressed. On numerous occasions, important points were completely overlooked--I was not heard. We talked in circles. I utilized this facility in order to receive a bariatric Psychological evaluation. The evaluation was completed 2 weeks ago yet I have not received the proper documentation needed to submit for my surgery. I have called on multiple occasions asking for my medical documents, and all I am being told is "I texted the doctor". This is ridiculous that my information is being withheld from me for so long, I should not have to beg for the documentation that I need! DO NOT USE THE SERVICES HERE! My kid went twice it was horrible. He just wanted to talk to someone, I was referred by my dr office cause he is in high school and started off in special ed, just for learning disabilities nothing else. He needed someone to talk to and he ended up starting school with no one but me to talk to and we had no help from them just problems! Horrible problems! We are looking for his old therapist but we cannot find her! He still needs therapy but I would never go back here ever again, worst decision ever read more

If I could give this place a lower review, I would. Be careful when bringing your children here. The "therapists" are students and are still learning. Most are NOT licensed!! They will tell your kids that they should have called CPS on you. This happened to me. They damaged my relationship with my son and caused me to have a suicidal moment!! Its absolutely ridiculous that my mother comes back from this place sobbing and crying cause of a therapist! Apparently the place was very un-welcoming, but the location wasnt the issue. My mother began to introduce herself, but soon was badgered when responding to financial questions, claiming that my mother can afford luxury things when shes barely making it as is (like cell phones or medicine)with ME her son helping pay for her own perscriptions. Sge was rushed filling out assessments and verbally told to hurry up when my mother has visual impairment and has trouble reading.And WORSE enough gave her advice BLAMING my mother for her own troubles and insulting her motherhood !!! Which resulted in her feeling devasted and hurt rather than getting positive reflection on issues. Im furious that a mental therapy institution harassed my mother over subjects rather than offer support and comfort. Im a frequent mental therapy patient who's gotten great care from many places for years, Im very aware of common protocol and therapy conduct ,but her experience had nothing of the sort. Completely unprofessional! A waste of time and money! I found this "office" from a listing online through my insurance site. I was searching for a female psychologist, which turns out are often very booked in this area. So when I was told I could be seen the day I called, I was a bit leery. Imagine my surprise when I drive up to what is not even a professional office, but a very rundown home with bars in the windows.... Wow. Nothing says you are safe and welcomed like barred windows- especially to children! So I enter a door with s laminated sign "family psychologic services" how professional. At the front window, the girl tells me to sign in and go wait in the back room. The wall and doorway are absolutely filthy. I go to the back room and instead of a therapist coming to greet me, there is a buzzer that you need to ring when it's your time. Unbelievable. A woman, I won't name, kind of friendly brings me to her sloppy cluttered office that feels like an old lady's unkept house. And without introducing herself properly, just says so what's going on? I'm like, can you tell me who you are? What is your approach to therapy and what you do here, and then I will tell you about me. I just felt like she talked in circles, didn't say much and didn't seem like anyone who would be therapeutic to anyone. I was annoyed but gave her one more chance. The second appointment I felt a knot in my stomach having to bring my children to this dirty little house. Instead of talking or doing any real conversing, she read my kids books while they colored. They didn't even pay attention. I was so annoyed I picked up cell phone and started to text just to see if she'd notice, she didn't! Or she didn't care! I did not need a babysitter. And it really angers me that people are wasting money on such poor quality services! They are so cheap and disgusting they won't even clean the building or hire someone to do it. I am very, very happy with the service that I received here. I am always welcomed and treated as a friend. I go on a weekly basis and I talk about various different things and Sean always listen to me and responds to me when there is a response. Sean has always treated me with respects and my opinion on different various things. Sean does listen to me and just doesn't say ah hun like people do when they act the they are listening to you. If I have a problem or I am visibly depressed, Sean will ask me what is wrong and will get to the problem that is bothering me, even if I say I am fine and nothing is wrong. I am happy that I do go here and will recommend anyone if the ask me. read more

Sadly, I had a similar experience here as the other reviewer. I was shocked by the low quality of the services here.

It's very painful to deal with traumatic events; even more traumatic is meeting with therapists who act callously and treat you as if you are a burden. My family and I will never return. Our experience was saddening as we were all treated rudely. Its unfortunate that the services were for my two traumatized children. Please consider patient care and respect for patients. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place is still very much open and the reviews from 2014 are still true of 2017. Expect that when I went into the waiting room the woman who I was supposed to see just walks into the room arms open and announced to the room " Who is here to see me!" this was my second time there. The place itself did put me off and yes it still is a run down house that was converted into makeshift shoe box office spaces. I wanted to give it a chance despite its appearance. However after the therapist, whom I had previously opened up to in our 1st session, FORGOT WHO I WAS. It was only my second time seeing her, however when I saw her the second time she literally didn't know my name. I would image a professional would have an appointment book or APP that says who you would be seeing at what time. As well as some notes with something along the lines of, I don't know, THE PERSON'S NAME AND WHAT THEY TALKED ABOUT LAST. Long story short, I knew it would not work out after this therapist started eating potato chips 4 minutes into our session. YES. EATTING. PO-TA-TO. CHIPS. Apparently my issues where that enthralling.
