While I was grateful for the opportunity to rent this facility I have to admit I didn't think…read morethings through(my fault). If you are thinking about renting this facility for a extended party, my rental was 4-11pm, there's a few things you should know... 1. It's an amazing room. Truly. 70 people fit nicely with enough room for a DJ. The park is available for your super young guests and that provides bonus points Definitely... BUT..... 2. You won't need to work out at the gym the day of your party because you'll be required to move gymnastic equipment before and after your party. The bright side? You'll work some muscles!! :) The downside? You'll pay an extra 40 mins to move the stuff which means 1 hour added to your rental price. Sadly while your moving the equipment, you'll realize you paid THEM to move THEIR equipment. Gee whiz. On Top of that you will be sweeping and cleaning the faculty as well, because it might be dirty. With that said, there's a chance you'll be sweaty at the start of your party... Decorating still needs to be done after all! Also when you're super sore the next day...you'll know why. ;) 2. While your moving all the equipment and cleaning, before and after your party, you'll realize what an AMAZING boss you are!! Why you ask? Because you paid a Barranca Vista worker(mandatory) $ 15.00 an hour to NOT help you sweep the room, to NOT help dump trashes at the end of your party. Are they there to help you move the equipment? NAH...they're there just to make sure you move it properly and put it back exactly as you found it, THAT'S it. If you need anything you'll find them sitting in the office surfing the net. Not a bad gig right? You'll also realize you're the best boss ever because you'll also provide dinner for your new employee!! While I would have offered, I didn't need to because she joined the family line for tacos. Again..amazing Boss! :) All of this amazing fun for $700 dollars PLUS a 250.00 dollar deposit. Not bad right? Disclaimer: I'm a non-resident, so residents pay less. Congrats to you. As I said in the beginning, I didn't think things through when I was told about the equipment. I own that. I just feel compelled to help prospective party renters go in with eyes wide open, give personal experience to help them make a well informed decision on whether it's worth the money. Of course everyone's experience is different. Our party was a blast and we'll be back for sure, but it will be a free park party for us. :)

Ventura is changing though, prices at "Antique" stores are outrageous now. Better to go to the Thrift stores, you can find a few of the same items for lots less. On one trip we were looking for a covered candy dish. Antique store wanted $30 - Thrift store - $1 Woohoo! It seems like they are pushing out alot of the more eclectic places and putting in chains like Jersey Mikes and foo-foo chi-chi clothing boutiques. Let's hope the book stores never go.

Plus, the recent renovations have made it 10x better. Props to whoever designed the setup - they really thought it through! There are actually two gym buildings, so you've got options depending on what you're looking to do. There's also a pool if you're into swimming, and if you need a run, there's a track nearby. They covered all the bases when putting this place together. One thing I really appreciate is that they let the students run the music - and they crank it. It definitely adds to the vibe, and it's nice to hear that the younger generation appreciates some good old '90s and 2000s music. I just hope no one complains one day and gets it shut down because that would totally kill the atmosphere. Most of the gym-goers here are polite and respectful, which makes working out a lot more enjoyable. It's also kind of fun to see all the gym rats checking themselves out in the mirror - definitely adds some character to the place! Like any gym, it definitely has its peak times when it gets pretty packed. But if you go during the quieter hours, it's an absolute oasis for gym rats. The students using this gym are seriously going to miss it when they move on to chain gyms - they don't know how good they have it! Whether you're lifting, doing cardio, swimming, or just trying to stay active, this gym has you covered. Just plan your visit right, and you'll love it!

My roommate would always workout in the hall adjacent to the massive windows. I'd chill more because I had Ballet daily. The pool is fun bc there are fitness classes in the water, joined in on a handful with my former boss. So... after taking this dance class with my friend and deciding that I'm an uncoordinated…read moremess...and having fond memories of step aerobics in middle school..as they were my favorite part of our gym class... and having found this place... I decided to try it. Yeah. So I thought it would be a piece of cake... I thought it'd be slow... old people... you know... my type of exercise. Well... this is what I "assumed"... There's this famous "Odd Couple" quote.. When you "assume" you make an "ass" of "u" and "me". - Felix Unger Yeah. Easy? Slow? Not. At. All. I've never jumped up and down and had to do so many high energy things at once. I tried to keep up but after awhile... I just wanted to die. Well, when I first got there before the teacher was there... there were some other ladies and they all just had the "step". I figured... I'd put some of those other things under the step to make it "higher" and hence "harder". Not too smart for a beginner. I also should have brought water. After awhile I had to step out and take a drink because everything was spinning and I was starting to feel really lightheaded. I came in thinking it'd be somewhat peppy but not too challenging. It's not that way at all. It's a full hour of basically running up and down and jumping all around this step to lots of super fast music. There's also some weight work in the class...which isn't a biggie for me. I'm used to carrying and lifting stuff... but my legs are killing me. I'm sore now.... I can just wait until tomorrow. I guess it's going to take some getting used to. Other than that: The facilities are extremely nice. There's several indoor basketball courts and indoor climbing wall (which I'll have to check out someday) and a gym. I'm not really a gym person... but from what I could see there are a lot of machines... and when I got there there was hardly anyone there... but when I was leaving it was pretty packed in there. The places where they have the classes are nice. Hardwood floors... tons of windows looking out over a whole bunch of greenery... and vaulted ceilings with skylights and fans. It's a super nice facility. Much nicer than some of the other gyms I've even been too. I'm not a workout person... so once a week is great for me... and to take any amount of classes for the day and to use the gym is $5. They have a ton of classes that you can check out. You can also go and come back as the young girl at the front told me. That's pretty awesome. It's small... quiet...and it's in a nice area on the border of Agoura Hills and Calabasas.

There was an option to…read moreadd 30 minutes, but honestly we were pretty tired by the end so an hour was enough for us. It was five adults total--my mom wasn't able to play since she's disabled, but the staff was really accommodating, and we just left the door open so she could sit and watch us play, which worked out perfectly. The games were really fun, and the customer service was great--super friendly and helpful! We had previously tried Activate (which is similar), and I'd say we actually prefer the grid-style game at Activate since it feels more competitive. With RGB Run, the game started to feel a little repetitive after about 30 minutes, so I think it's more geared toward a shorter, one-session experience rather than a full hour. The main reason we chose RGB Run was because they offer private rooms, which is a huge plus. I didn't realize, though, that you're limited to just one style of game when booking, so I was a little disappointed they didn't have the specific game I had hoped for. That said, we still had a really fun time and I'd definitely recommend it for groups who want a private experience. Overall, a really enjoyable spot for something different to do with family or friends. I'd give it 4 stars--mainly because of the limited game options--but everything else (especially the service) was great!

It was an interactive game and I recommend this for all ages. The goal is to clear the blue tiles on the board while avoiding the red tiles. It is safe to stand on the green tiles. Basically, the floor is lava game for 15 minutes. They have two rooms available for the game. There was no wait for a room on weekday, so I would call ahead if you're stopping by on the weekend. I'm not sure how long its been open, but some of the tiles lost its sensitivity. There are different levels to choose from like novice, standard, and difficult. We did standard and it was a workout for me. It is priced per person, the more people then the cheaper. Rooms are equipped with a screen, camera, and phone holder to record your experience. They have a back room to hold a celebration too. And a locker to place your belongings.
