Instead of pulling me aside to talk to me, she lectured me with my child in the room to prove to my daughter that she was her advocate. I withdrew my child from therapy because there was no support for our family unit, just divisiveness and projection. Just because I put my child in a therapist's care, it doesn't give them the right to assume that what they assume is always right. Kimberly was making assumptions that was wrong. She needs to address her own personal biases and past trauma before she can work on what a healthy mindset really is.

I started seeing her with my ex-husband and my kids and in therapy. You're supposed to feel safe and secure and I was crying and was telling my daughter how I felt and she immediately snapped at me. Talk to me like I was a child disregarded. My emotions told me that I was Never supposed to show emotion towards my daughter and put that on her which in my opinion and I've always been taught in therapy that being honest and showing emotion is a good thing. She made me cry all the way home and after I got done talking to my therapist and multiple people about what she did, they agreed that there was nothing wrong with me, showing emotion. And the fact that my daughter was not comfortable, she was not her outgoing self. She was quiet and meek that is quite opposite of my daughter's personality. I even reported that one of my daughters had a full-blown eating disorder and she did nothing about it I was reporting abuse going on after their father's house and she did nothing about it. I would be very cautious when seeing this therapist.

She listens and really pays attention to what I am saying and recalls what we talked about from previous appointments. I feel like I can trust Dr Hamilton and she is not judgmental. I was able to work through a lot of my issues quickly and feel better about myself. As a one-man band Dr. Hamilton runs her own office and is very easy to communicate with. My appointments are always on time, and she always gives me several convent choices of times to choose from for followup visits. After visiting Dr Hamilton I feel more comfortable and relaxed.
