This tattoo shop has talented artists and a great atmosphere. My tattoo artist Ash Robinson is very detailed and creative. He's very open to his clients ideas, and I respect and appreciate that he knows what colors/style/sizing would look best on ones' skin. Very professional overall. I'll definitely be returning to him for more work. read more

Coolest tattoo place in Lancaster... in the whole antelope valley for that matter. Ashton was my artist and has been for years now! Very attentive and overall just fantastic thank you! read more

Bob is an excellent tattoo artist! Awesome work this man does... Some of the best work by far in the Antelope Valley. Plus, he's so down to earth and the shop has a great vibe! I've had at least 5 different pieces done by Bob and I love them all!! He is a master when it comes to covering up tattoos, you'd never know it was there when he's done. Not to mention his prices are the best in town... He's definitely not like some of these other clowns in town who want to charge you $$$ an hour for work you'll regret having done. Bottom line.... You want your tattoo done right...go to Psycho City on Ave I and ask for Bob. read more

I don't recommend going to this tattoo parlor because one of their workers named Ash Robinson. I feel like he robbed me of my hundred dollar deposit. He did not tell me when I made the first appointment that I had 72 hours to cancel to make another one. I spoke to him a few days after I made the first appointment and I told him that I think I was coming down with the cold and he said call me or write to me the next day and let me know and we'll work something out. So the next day I wrote to him saying I am sick can we reschedule and he wrote back saying no can do. You didn't do the 72-hour rule. And I said what do you mean and he said I need 72 hours be able to reset another appointment for you and you didn't do that and I said you never told me I had that much time to do. So he's keeping my $100. He said if I want to make an appointment I have to send him another $100. I found out from his last job that that is the reason why he was fired. So I do not recommend having this man doing your tattoos read more

He's pretty good and very patient and easy the place is unique looking overall great experience!!

This place is awful at piercings , I wanted a septum piercing and this dude literally pierces so close to the outside of my nose. I got the same piercing today in yuma arizone, my eyes didn't ever water he knew what he was doing. Don't go for here for anything challenging fir the staff, like a septum piercing for instance read more

These guys rock and do awesome work. Wouldn't ggo anywhere else . Ben and Bob I have so many compliments on my tats from you two.. look forward to my next ones read more

I love the west Ave I location. It's clean and I've always felt comfortable there. Ben does fantastic work I just wish his schedule wasn't so full (I know! That's how awesome he is.) Their studio is old school style with all the blood safety and medical certificates and equipment to be sanitary and safe. I've not been to the newer location yet. read more

Got my one and only tattoo here in 2007. A big one. That poor decision will haunt me for the rest of my life. FYI, the tattoo sucks. Pretty much when friends and family think about getting a tattoo, all they gotta do is look at that one and they change their mind. read more

This is Erik I just got one from Ben I have more than a few tattoos this was my first shop experience. I have to say It was the best tattoo experience I've ever had ben is great at his craft light handed and a really chill dude I would strongly recommend that if your looking to get some ink go in and see ben. read more

In the Spring before COVID hit, I was looking to get some work done for the first time. With some asking around I was referred to Rooster over at Psycho City. As great an artist he is overall, his work in traditional style is the place to go! Easy to work with, knowledgeable, and delivers. Thanks Rooster! read more

Got my 1st tattoo by Ben in 2008, and my 3rd by Ben in 2015. He is amazing. I am always nervous but he always calms me down and is gentle. He said his nick name is gentle Ben. read more

After my first couple of tattoo's at another shop in Lancaster, I wanted to find a place where i felt 100% comfortable, since the other place wasn't super professional and I would only go if a friend of theirs came with me. I came across this shop and walked in (about 8-9 years ago) and Matt (or Max? Chris?) was available. I wanted a stencil of a Mickey Mouse jack-o-lantern, he made a copy and we got to work. Very fast, good pricing and he even threw in a free Taurus symbol on my ankle since it was sooooo tiny. I came back a few weeks later since the Taurus had partially faded and my artist was no longer there but Dr. Claw offered the free touch-up anyway, although reluctant but thank you for being helpful. I went back for another tattoo to my first place and then returned back to Psycho City, where I walked in and Dr. Claw was able to fit me in to his schedule. He was professional & gave me exactly what I wanted, simple cursive lyrics across my back. They were in Spanish so he triple checked with me that they were correct & even adjusted the color I wanted them to be. Clean place that takes walk ins. read more

Rooster is awsome!! My new favorite artist in the AV and it's taken me a long time to find one. Fuck yes

Just got my 2nd tattoo from Ben. Could not be happier. Price was reasonable and they turned out just like I wanted (both were custom). Ben pays close attention to detail and takes time to get it perfect. read more

This place is junk, you walk in and the guys look at you like your bugging them. They ask what you want but then tell you it's not pricey enough for their shop. Don't come here worse place in the a.v!!!! read more

Yes!!! They did absolutely amazing. Such a nice , clean tattoo !! And they were fast!!! Will be returning.

I have been trying to get in touch with this place for over 2 weeks. I have left numerous messages with no return call and no one ever picks up the phone. I guess it's time to try somewhere else. read more

Mike did the writing on my upper back tattoo about four years ago. He was super professional and very friendly. He even retouched it up for free about two years ago where my bra strap was wearing it away a little bit. I've recommended people to go there and went with my friend Sierra when she got her first mandala tattoo. read more

I got a a red star on my arm the guy who did it did not shade it all the way. It needs work. I don't think I will get anothe tattoo from this place again. My arm was red for about a week did not noticed it until the swelling went away. However their piercings are the best. I had my nipples pierce along time ago. It was fast and painless. Any of you ladies want your nipples pierced this is the place to do it. Very professional and easy going. read more

Adam Gregg is the piercer at this shop. He's personally pierced me and did an excellent job. He has over 10 years of experience and I wouldn't trust anyone else to pierce me. He's very knowledgable, professional and quick. He'll make you feel very comfortable and make sure you feel the least amount of pain possible. Get pierced by Adam! read more

Was going to have work done for myself and my husband. A large full back piece for my husband and both forearms for myself. We were going to have Ben Coye do the work. He took a deposit and said he would take a couple weeks to work on our designs communicating with us. Sharing the design progress and tweeking it as we go leading up to appointment day. We never heard from Ben. Not one time. We never saw ark work. On appointment day Ben was a no show with out even a phone call that he wouldn't be there. At the shop, my husband told them he'd just take his deposit back and we would call it done. No harm no foul. But the guys there, 3 total, said they couldn't help him and wouldn't give him his deposit. He asked for the shop owners phone number, Mike Pike. They said they didn't know how he could get in touch with Mike. he asked for Mikes phone number and they said they didn't know his phone number. They refused to help. This had to be the biggest waste of time and worst customer service ever. When you're going to get permanent artwork on your body you would expect the artist to talk with you. I texted Ben multiple times and he never once responded. We still haven't been contacted and have not been given our deposit back. I do not recommend this shop. read more

I've been here once with a friend. He got a small tattoo, I forgot who did it, but they gave him a good price. That artist was pretty rude but aside from that artist in particular, the piercer, his apprentice, and another guy who was drawing flash art was extremely nice and helpful. As for the tattoo itself, it came out okay and the artist did it quick. I've seen some excellent work come out of this shop. read more

I LOVE this place!! I live on base and was here 2 years before i decided to comit to a tattoo shop here in the AV. I did a lot of research and found Ben Coye, who's work I absolutely love. He has done a thigh piece and the inside of my bicep on my arm so far and both pieces are amazing. I couldn't be happier. I've also had the top of my foot done my Jay which is also a badass piece that I love! The shop is clean and has a very friendly environment. These guys are experienced and are super helpful. They will work with you to make sure the piece you get is something you won't regret having on your body for the rest of your life. Every time I go in it's a good time and I always walk away with amazing artwork! I will be sad when I have to leave this area and find a new shop!! read more

I havent been in a while, but Jojo did my tattoos umpteen years ago and they still look great!

Psycho City Tattoo is where I first got my tattoo. Ben Coye was my artist, he was and still is AMAZING! I have three tattoos with him so far and I'm sure it won't be the last. He was very kind and patient with me. During the session he always asked how I was doing, shared his interesting stories and made the experience easy going. His work is beautiful and he takes pride in his art. This shop follows the best standards of cleanliness which is very important to me. Overall, it has great tattoo artists with great personalities and a safe environment. read more

Got my first tattoo here. I recommend this place to everyone. I got it on my foot. It hurt, but it was totally fine. If you don't want to get a tattoo because you're scared of the pain, just do it. Bob is a great artist, he's super talented, patient, and focused. Come here!! read more

*AVOID* AVOID* AVOID* I got the worst tattoo there ever by 'Rooster'. He did a Joker tattoo on my forearm and Joker looked like he had a pine cone for a nose and the blood in the tattoo literally looked like red string... I went in later and asked him to fix it and all I got was an indignant response... and he ripped me off for $20 in change to boot. I've had to have this tattoo covered numerous times just to hide his shitty work. WORST TATTOO EXPERIENCE EVER! read more

I have been going to Psycho City to get my piercing's by Adam since 2006, I have had surface piercings, Micro-dermal piercings, Lip and Vertical Lebret, High nostril piercings, I have had it all done it through him. He is a very intellectual trustworthy individual, has been in his profession for many years, he is clean, certified, sanitary, and he can also make you feel completely comfortable and relaxed in the piercings that would seem naturally embarrassing. I rate him as well as the entire shop as a 5+++ They are open and friendly to consultations. I have recommend so many friends and family to this shop. read more

Ive been going to Adam for several years now, & I can honestly say hes hes the only one I trust to ever pierce me again. His knowledge & professionalism can't be beat. He has great ideas if you don't know what you want, & custom orders jewelry to ensure you leave happy. Best of all, he doesn't pierce you JUST to take your money. read more

Psycho City is probably the best shop in the entire Antelope Valley. Everyone is extremely professional, and they know what they're doing. Doughboy has done two tattooes of mine and fixed up a piece I already had. Adam has done twelve out of fourteen of the piercings I have gotten and they are all beautifully done. If anyone wants professional, good looking work done, I definately suggest Psycho City as your first stop. read more

I walked in and was treated like I was a bother. The guys at the front counter sighed and rolled their eyes when I asked for a consultation for my first tattoo. Their over all demeanor was just very sarcastic and Irritated. On top of that other than helping me they decided a good opener would be expressing their HUGE egos. Bragging about how they've been established "X" amount of years as well as basically trashing other artists and shops stating they "cover up" a lot of local work. They were extremely rude and classless. As if it couldn't get any worse One employee was very loudly talking about wanting to have intercourse, ( to put it subtle) with a woman who had walked in earlier and looked at me for approval! Disgusting. Better believe I warned all family, friends and coworkers to rear away from this dump. Unfortunately this was my first impression of a tattoo shop and it was horrible. Thankfully this Bad experience had me go to another shop near by and it was a complete 180 degree. My rating of this place is as low as it can get and I'd give nothing if I could. read more
