I've worked with several mediums over the years and was very impressed by my reading with Joanne. Not only is she compassionate and kind, her reading was detailed, personal, accurate, and extremely comforting. The main two people I wanted to hear from came through along with plenty of names and identifying characteristics so that I felt certain I was hearing from the people in question. I highly recommend her whether this is your first visit to a medium or you are a seasoned pro. 10/10 read more

I remember having an amazing experience with Joanne. I was quite surprised at what she picked up on and trust me, she could have had no idea about any of the info. I hope to speak with her again. read more

Amazing and spot on reading. You just have to have a reading from her to believe; words cannot describe how accurate she was.

Literally blown away! I had a reading with Joann on Friday, May 23rd, 2025. I specifically asked about certain subject that involved the legal system, a child and a parent incarcerated. I thought Joann's information was a bit off at the reading. However, yesterday (May 25th) when picking up the child at the center of all of this, I was told of the latest legal updates pertaining to this case. All of the new updates were the new charges and pending cases that Joann mentioned two days prior at my reading! Joann was so pleasant, polite and professional. I will recommend her to my friends and cannot wait to schedule another reading. Thank you Joann! read more

I created this account just to write this review because I felt so compelled to. I spoke with Joanne when I found out I was losing my job in October. She gave me an important date of May 9th which ended up being the interview date for my new job. She was spot on with the industry and the type of building it would be. I had zero issues with rescheduling or anything like that. I actually just did a 2nd reading a few days ago about another topic. read more

I've seen a few mediums since my mom passed last summer, and none have connected with her the way Joanne did. Right of the bat, Joanne provided clear evidence of the connection, telling me specific things about my mom and mentioning something about my dad (living) that no one would have known. I've always been a believer in the general sense (I believe in the afterlife and mediums and all of that), but skeptical individually (is this person REALLY who they say they are). Joanne strengthened my beliefs and gave me great peace and happiness. read more

First , I'd like to say that even though I had to wait many months to get an online reading, it was not rescheduled, and went ahead as planned. I had really been hoping that Joanne would be able to connect with my mother, who had recently passed, to help alleviate the extreme grief that I had been coping with since her passing. . Unfortunately, there was nothing said during the reading that made me believe that she had connected with anyone I knew that had passed as everything was full of generalizations. There was also nothing about myself that was even remotely accurate. Things she said would've applied to many women in my age group. For example, she mentioned that I had been holding onto some things like my grandmother's jewelry that my grandmother said it was OK to turn into a necklace or keeping old dishes_Things that could apply to many women my age. I was highly disappointed as I was told that Windbridge had a highly rigorous screening process and really vetted their psychic/ mediums. Maybe others have had a better experience, but based on mine, I would not recommend. read more

Hey, you need to understand that even mediums may have off-days or maybe they get bad Intel from the spirits beyond? I hate going off half-cocked and declaring anyone or be a fake when I myself cannot understand their world. I know Joanne sometimes see these so I would like to take the moment to give thanks. Look, I don't know if foreshadowing based on the spirits you communicate with can always be accurate or even right. But within the first ten or fifteen minutes of my reading you mentioned that something was wrong with my father, and you even specified that it was in his legs and that it may have to do with his heart. No one knew that at the time, only my mother and I knew that his legs were swelling up. Certainly wasn't anything on social media. A few days after he was taken to the ER due to fluid building up in his legs and an enlarged heart. That is not something that one merely makes up. I'd have given you five star if you would have been more detailed but I intentionally set my standards high as I want my word to mean something in reviews. I'd have a reading again if I saw the desire arise within. read more

I set up a reading with Joanne for my mom about 6 months ago. We paid upfront and were eager to be able to communicate with my dad who recently passed. We had so much build up and excitement for this moment. On the day of our scheduled reading Joanne called and let us know she was feeling ill and would need to reschedule the appointment for 2 weeks later. This was totally understandable and although we were a bit disappointed, we figured there must be a good reason the reading didn't happen that day. The day before the scheduled reading, Joanne called and let us know she was incredibly backed up on appointments due to being ill and advised us she needed to reschedule again. Today, the day of our rescheduled appointment, Joanne notified us 2 hours prior to our reading letting us know she was still not feeling well and offered to reschedule our appointment for July or August, or refund our money. At this point, we elected to take a refund and cut our losses. Someone being sick is completely understandable, but notifying us 2 hours before our rescheduled appointment was unprofessional. I don't doubt Joanne has abilities, but running a business this way shows blatant disregard for the clients that are trusting her to provide a service, which often carriers emotional weight. When you book with her you may be one of those who's reading isn't rescheduled and you have a great experience, or you may experience what we and many others here have. And before she responds declaring this a fake review- I have the receipts. read more

DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH THIS PERSON. SHE IS A SCAM. I would rate 0 if it was possible. Believe the bad reviews, I didn't and went ahead and scheduled a "reading" anyway. I waited 6 months to get a "reading" hoping to hear from my dad who passed. I read many reviews that she rescheduled last minute or never gave a reading and took people's money anyway. Before she disputes anything written here, I have all the receipts. She texts me only hours before the scheduled reading that she is "home ill" and if I would be able to do it in 2 more weeks. It seems she is always "home ill" and rescheduling. Very fishy business going on here. If you are sick, you know sooner than only hours before your appointment, c'mon. I told her I was not interested in waiting any longer and to refund me. She said she would though complained of "technical problems with her website so it would take over a week to process a refund." I'm thinking whatever I want my money back so I waited. I waited 2 weeks and still nothing. I contacted again and she said because of the "holidays" it would be another 10 days. That's when I took it in my own hands and disputed with the bank, shown them all the receipts and they refunded me. I can't believe someone so shady and scam-y would be an actual medium, therefore it's safe to assume she is a fake, and charging $250 for 30 minutes of lies to grieving people is a shameful act. Take it from me and all the bad reviews on here to take your money elsewhere, j wish I listened to them in the first place before eagerly waiting six months only to be caught up in Joanne Gerbers scam. Hope this helps someone. read more

Joanne was able to connect me to my father who passed away 3 years ago. She was accurate on everything she relayed to me. There were a few things I didn't understand until after the reading when they became clear. What Joanne and other mediums do is interpret signs and symbols from people who have passed on. It's not a message in English. You have to go into these appointments with an open mind and an understanding of what may or may not happen. Joanne can't "make" a soul communicate. The soul has to come forward and be willing. It would be a good idea if people read up on how this works before spending any money. Lastly, Joanne's job is taxing both mentally, emotionally and physically. Understanding that it can be difficult I would think that people might be more flexible. Joanne has a gift and is sharing it with us. Yes, she makes money from the readings but she has to live and eat. Personally I appreciate that she does share her gifts with those of us who aren't as gifted. Thank you Joanne. I'm hoping to take your beginners class. read more

Joanne assistant Rescheduled 3 times then Joanne herself tried to reschedule 10 min before reading and at our insistence did the reading 2 hours later than scheduled. She did NOT connect anything and blamed the client for not being open. I feel she was not open to receive during her busy day of errands. I Couldn't have been more open to wanting to connect to MANY departed loved ones. Do not waste your money. Very disappointing. UPDATE!! If you leave her a bad review, Joanne will send you numerous harassing txt messages threatening to sue you for slander. Joanne you are not helping yourself by responding with more lies. I just hope more people look at your reviews written by all of us fake clients that somehow had the same bad experience. read more

I had a great reading with Joanne that brought me great comfort. My mom and sister even resonated with some things that I didn't understand.

I've had several readings with Joanne Gerber. Each reading brought through evidence that my loved ones are still with me. Joanne Gerber is a beautiful person and extremely gifted Psychic Medium who shares her her gift to comfort those left behind. Joanne has brought a " knowing " to me that eases my heart and soul. If anyone needs to hear from a loved one who has crossed over, give her a call and book a reading!! Do it!! A+ read more

If you're able to afford to lose a few hundred dollars for an appointment that may or may not happen, Joanne is absolutely the psychic you're looking for! It seems as if she has a history of canceling original appointments on people but if your mind is not "at ease" as she suggests it should be on her website for your reading and you try to reschedule last minute, not cancel.... reschedule for another day when you can be at ease... she will charge as if you received service. If you dispute the charge with your bank, she will lie to the bank about it. The mental state of a grieving mother who lost her son 6 months ago? She could care less. Her schedule is more important than her showing compassion. She does not care if you're a bereaved mother of a three year old. She does not care about compromising with clients. She does care about profiting from grieving people who lost a loved one. She does care about what is said about her but not enough to rectify an error in her judgment. Not professional, not compassionate. read more

Psychic Medium Joanne Gerber - When you try to reach out to her about her bad business practices, you either get blocked and reported, or threatened. - Psychic Mediums Near Me

I would not waste my money. It felt to me that she did not come from a place of love or a sincere desire to help. Her approach seems money-oriented (and she even seemed a bit impatient). I should have known just by the way her payments work. It really was a dead give-away. I should have trusted my gut and looked elsewhere. Rather than"reading me" during a psychic sesion, she simply asked if I had any questions - almost like she didn't want to work that hard and do the real work. (Of course I had questions, but it is not at all what I expected or hoped for.) After $450, I feel I know little to nothing more than I knew when I began. It was quite disappointing. read more

Extremely disappointed. I started with Joanne in the late 90's, she came to my home for a psychic party, then sister-in-laws house, then a friends. Every few years I would follow up until her prices were out of reach. My life changed a lot in the last 10 years since I spoke with her, mostly, my gifts were activated and I found myself constantly surrounded by psychics, mediums, shamans, channelers, etc. as this is now my career field. I was extremely excited to speak with her yesterday after it had been postponed for about a month. I told her what I was looking for. She started telling me everything I knew, like basic stuff, your worries are out of your control, you are overwhelmed and your house is messy because you are scattered and working too much. NO KIDDING. That is why I called for an appointment. Nothing about my gifts, nothing about the spirits in my home causing issues (haunted), nothing about what I specifically asked for. I started crying 1/2 way through because we had spent 6 minutes or...$50 of my session with hellos and explaining psychic and medium to me. I AM BOTH. I KNOW. How did she not see any of this on me? Why did we spend another $40 or so talking about her visit to the senior center for a handyman or how she found her assistant and I should get one, they could work at our location or remotely. I am sorry, I know an assistant is new to you but did you not see that I've had up to 30 employees at one time and this is not a novel thought to get one? Get a massage to relax...was that a message straight from Jesus? She went over a few minutes and I wasn't even grateful, I wanted to hang up so I could cry over how I wasted the money for a 30 minute session which is $250 and got no guidance, nothing of what I asked for. She did channel my grandma. I told her I didn't want to speak to the dead unless they were offering help, but I got, she liked her house clean & kept her hair nice. I KNOW! I knew her. She is dead as are all the other dead relatives. 'They are with me and they are happy.' I KNOW! They all are. I don't need confirmation they are OK or nearby. I don't care. She also said spirits don't give messages only information that they are them and they're OK. This is 100% false. Do you know how many times a friend has said, so and so (dead) said look for this or focus on that. She used to be good. Maybe she still is but for someone at my level, I just paid for 30 minutes to partake in a kindergarten class. I have had better sessions with students in Life Coaching. If you are an advanced healer, you might want to try someone who actually sees you and can meet you at your level, not 'grandma says she loves you'. Grandma was not nice as Joanne portrayed and was the last I wanted to hear from. She's with me? GO AWAY!! So disappointed, I unsubscribed from the mailing list and told my sister and niece to not schedule with her. I sent her A LOT of business. Now, our karmic contract is complete. read more

Hi Joanne Followers my name is Morgan Rachel Shanaghan and I am grieving mother who lost her son in February due to cancer treatments. Joanne and I have scheduled a meeting and I paid 400 dollars. Joanne then cancelled on me due to a medical appointment that ran over time; the day came for the "new" appointment and I had asked to reschedule because I had some family issues come up. Joanne then stated that there are no cancellations allowed, I would have to pay full money again 400 dollars. But yet it was okay that she cancelled our originally appointment the DAY OF. 100% off base. It took 5-6 months to get this session and she cancelled many times and nothing she said in anyway resonated with my life!

Complete scan. She charged for the session then reschedule last min and never produced a reading. $400 for nothing

I am not sure why the poor reviews but I had a reading with Joanne and she was excellent. Very different from other mediums. I felt very comfortable. She knew information about my brother that we only knew. Every was spot on. She is very kind and patient. She has a gift. She gave me such peace and comfort. Highly recommend! read more

This was a life changing event for me, no hands down. I went to see her with a few of my friends and I have absolutely no doubt she was in contact with our family and friends. She gave each child's name in my family from my parents to say hello to, deceased aunt's names that I had to check with other family members who they were because they died before I was born. She knew things we had kept from our parents like tool boxes and harmonicas, that we had just re-done our kitchen and re-sodded our yard. They came through with their personalities and she described them so accurately, it was at times funny. The smell of the pipe smoke, the bobbing crossed leg etc. Makes me feel good just remembering the evening. read more

**UNPROFESSIONAL** Had an appointment booked since February 2017 for a June 21st reading. First, called me two days prior to change the time from 3pm to 1pm. I've been looking forward to this reading for five months so agreed and took the day off work to accommodate Joanne's schedule. She then called me 30 minutes before our scheduled phone reading to cancel. Pretty sure if that was me, I would have to forfeit the entire 335 dollars I ALREADY PAID. However, I kept it cool because again, I was still emotionally invested into this happening so I agreed to the date change of Sunday at 1pm. I had plans to go away for the weekend, as many people do in the summer months, but decided to stay home so I wouldn't be late and be ready for my reading on Sunday. Yes, you probably guessed it. Joanne this time only called me 22 MINUTES prior to the reading to cancel because she was home sick. If she was home sick, I would think someone who is professional and even caring of another persons time would maybe call me in the morning? So I wouldn't have wasted an entire day? AGAIN, going against her own cancellation policy. She never even thought to mention if she could make it up to me, maybe an additional 15 minutes? Maybe a gift certificate? Discounted reading due to the second cancellation on short notice after a time change? Again, nothing. I lost an entire days pay on Wednesday when I had to take off work because of her time change and then a weekend away with my family. Never mind the fact I was emotionally invested - laid out pictures, lit candles, really tried to get ready for the session and the possibility of my Dad and other loved ones reaching out to me through spirit. I couldn't help but cry after being cancelled on again in such short notice and putting the pictures away for the second time in less than a week. I never write bad reviews as I would never intentionally try to harm someone's business. However, I have had a sick feeling in my stomach since this happened to me and I don't want anyone else to experience what I did. Especially those who have lost loved ones and have the anticipation of a connection. I should have listened to one of my co-workers and a family friend who told me multiple times her telephone session was NOT WORTH the hefty 7 dollars a minute price tag. However, I stayed optimistic and was looking forward to her proving them all wrong. But sadly, she never gave me the chance. If you are thinking of a medium, I would maybe take my search elsewhere. Her assistant Lisa is very nice and professional. read more

I've called about five times and left three voicemail send a few emails and I have yet to receive a response from anyone. Very disappointed

Bereaved mother of a toddler, made an appointment, almost $300 for a 30 minute phone call. She called and cancelled on me the day of the appointment. I said it was fine! We rescheduled, and when I needed to cancel, I was told it was against the policy and I'd have to pay ANOTHER $275 for a 30 minute phone call- for some reason it's acceptable for her to cancel at the very last minute, but I can't. As someone who has been very skeptical about mediums and was hoping and quite literally praying I could get a connection to my 3 year old, to be cheated like this is a huge, hurtful blow. It seems very cheap and insincere. There are many other reputable mediums out there. I would recommend literally anyone else. read more

I had the opportunity to sit for a group reading with Joanne Last night. She called it an evening of spirit communication. There were about fifty people it attendance at the yoga studio. Being a skeptic, but being open minded, I sat quietly as to not give away any information by accident. She was spot on with a lot of people and knew information that seemed very personal and couldn't have been looked up. I definitely want to go see her again. I'm impressed! I had heard she gave dates, descriptions, etc. I was very eager to believe. The information she gave me I could've found on the internet. About a third of the information she gave me was wrong. I'm the family historian, too. I asked others in the family, and their conclusion was the same as mine: she was wrong. She made some educated guesses that weren't difficult to arrive at. General stuff that my granddaughter could've come up with. She asked me how I liked the reading. I said I wasn't impressed. She argued with me! She did a lot of fishing to see if she was on the right track. I could be doing her a disservice, however, she made me feel like she was picking my pocket. read more

I just had a reading with Joanne Gerber and she appears to be a total fraud. She claims that she is an "evidential" medium and can provide evidence. Yet, she kept talking on and on about some "grandfather" who I never knew and never knew me. When I explained to her that I had no idea who she was talking about, she started using "cold reading" questions to elicit information from me. I made a comment about this and she immediately became extremely defensive and argumentative and started yelling at me and then hung up on me. Of course, she kept my money. So, she walks away with my money and all I got was a load of BS. Whoa, why are you so defensive if you're doing something legitimate? My recommendation is to stay away from her and do not get a reading from her. You will only regret it, as I do now. read more

I had a medium reading with Joanne yesterday, January 31, 2018. I was absolutely blown away by this reading. More than one spirit came to talk with me, and the detailed and specific information that Joanne was able to provide to me was mind blowing. She gave me names, dates, relationships, descriptions and so much more. I was speechless from this reading. There is no possible way she could have known the things she was relaying back to me. I shared the information I received with family members and friends, and the ones who were skeptical about a spirit world are now believers in Spirit. In fact, my father, who thought I was insane for contacting a medium, is going to schedule his own reading for himself and my mother. Joanne is truly gifted. She was extremely comforting throughout the reading, and I am in awe of her and her natural abilities. I HIGHLY recommend a reading with Joanne. I will absolutely be contacting her for another reading in the future. Thank you, Joanne! You are amazing, and have changed my life. read more

I went to her medium demonstration, and was impressed by the details she was able to provide to some of the people in the room. Afterwards, I had a scheduled phone session, and was looking forward it. The reading didn't blow me away and didn't provide me with any spiritual healing. I had a 1/2 hour phone call. With in that time frame I would say she had hits 25% of the time. The rest was either completely wrong, and she gave me so many random names and for me to remember them for the future and to pass along a message.. Which she either never gave me.. Or it was to say hi to them. I didn't pay good money to hear things that could have possibly applied to a lot of people, "messages" that didn't directly apply to me, or random names, or completely wrong info. Again she was (maybe) 25% right, but didn't blow me away. She may not be fake, but definitely not the best out there... Not worth what she charges. I want my money back. read more
