Dr. Thomas was pretty great, but their front office staff is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of. For a psychiatrists office, I find this unbelievably unacceptable. Hire more staff if you cannot handle incoming phone calls. Ridiculous. I have taken my business elsewhere and will not recommend this place. Dr. Moore frequently did not refill prescriptions in a timely manner so that every month there would be a lapse in medications. Only after months of calling the office every month and reminding them to refill after assuming my pills were auto refilling from HEB, did they tell me they Don't do auto refills nor take faxes from HEB. My phone doesn't support their tele calls on my audio, and after cancelling one appointment because I couldn't do the tele calls, I was charged $150., even tho I went to the appointment the next day. On one appointment, Dr. Moore asked how I was doing on one medication, in which he forgot he stopped me cold turkey from taking it previously. I was bummed to not go to the therapy sessions there all because of one person and the office practices. read more

My psychiatrist herself is fantastic, I love her. But the front office is incredibly unprofessional and difficult to get ahold of. I've had a few good experiences with front office staff but they always seems very quick to get you off the phone. You have to book appointments like a month out because they're always completely booked, and then they can't give medication refills until you've seen your psychiatrist. I pay good money for an appointment that's meant to last an hour and it's only ever 10 minutes max. It is so ridiculously expensive and frustrating. On top of that it's like pulling teeth to get anybody to get back to you. I have never once called and actually spoken to someone, they always have to call me back. read more

I am extremely disappointed in the concern for the patients at the Georgetown office. Last week my son and I drove from our town for my son's required in-person visit. We left early to account for traffic and were still going to be 5 minutes late. I called the office with 45 minutes to spare before his scheduled appointment and was told there is NO grace period. Thankfully they allowed us to pull over and have the appointment. We still needed to go to the office for a routine drug screening. They had moved offices and the GPS (I used Google Maps AND Waze) kept dropping me in the middle of an intersection. I called again and they let me know that since moving offices they've been having this issue and patients have been getting lost. That alone should have them readjust their "No Grace Period" policy otherwise patients WILL be late and left without their needed care. After returning home and going to the pharmacy to pick up his extremely necessary medication the pharmacy only had 10 out of the 30 because there is a nationwide shortage. They let me know I could have those 10 and then to call around to different pharmacies to see if they have the remaining amount and then call his Dr. to send in a new RX for the remaining amount needed. (I have to do this with my youngest son's meds as well and it has been a seamless process!) I found the remaining amount at a different pharmacy which had the exact amount he needed still. I called BACK Psych Dimensions in Georgetown and was told because I picked up just a portion, the remainder is forfeited for the rest of the month. I explained that is not how it works for my youngest's office and it would be helpful if they let patients know that ahead of time so they don't risk not having their NECESSARY medication. It is my sons' senior year of HS and this RX has been the thing that has made the difference for him for the past 3 years. The woman I spoke to told me it wasn't their issue and the pharmacy should have told me that was how it worked. Well, it's NOT how it works. If that were the case I would have run into this with my youngest son. I also would not have only picked up the partial amount. She in no way attempted to help me feel better about the situation. I asked that they let patients know this policy in the future to help others not go through this. I did not get any indication she would be doing that nor the office would do that. When dealing with clientele who are visiting an office because of Mental Health issues, clear and concise verbal, as well as written, information is imperative. Certainly empathy is the first line of communication that should be required. We will be finding a new office for my son's continued care and will not recommend Psych Dimensions to anyone. read more

My sons Dr recommended Psych Dimensions because his current therapist just wasnt helping him. His first appointment was over the phone. Within 45 minutes they completely changed his antidepressant. Typical, they didnt want to get to the root of the problem, they just wanted to throw more drugs at him. He made another appointment because he really needed to talk somebody in person. So they setup another phone appointment. What happen to face to face therapy. So we are in the process of finding somebody else that will make an effort to actually work with him, not over the phone. I wish I could give zero stars. The entire place tries to give off the "cool" or "chill" vibe, but instead comes off creepy and weird, especially with their low lighting and fake statues lining the wall. The "psychiatrist," Dr. Benoit, is smug, arrogant, and doesn't listen. All he wants is your money, which is no problem obviously when you have insurance. Their cancellation policies are RIDICULOUS (48 hour notice, $100 fee, plus possible cancellations of future already scheduled sessions)!! I had a friend who went there and they constantly change appt times and then when you miss, cancel your scheduled appointments for the NEXT FEW MONTHS. They expect you to self-diagnose. Just tell them what you think is wrong in less than 15 minutes, don't worry you'll get what you want in terms of meds I'm sure. The very first thing I told him was that I was working with a therapist, which is also obviously indicated in the paper work I filled out (as well as mentioned this during the first appointment), so I asked if he'd consult with her about my concerns, and he said, "Oh I didn't know you were working with a therapist." Imagine someone not listening, slouched down as far as possible in their chair, arms folded, legs extended and crossed as if he is sitting on the beach relaxing. Would you like to talk to someone, or take advice, from a "professional" with that body language at a vulnerable moment? I took the same concerns to a different psychiatrist and it was a much better experience. The new psychiatrist took the time to compassionately discuss my concerns while providing sound research and education, rather than just saying, "So...what do you want me to do for you?" It also took almost a whole hour to discuss an actual step by step treatment plan based on what didn't work in the past . He ensured I was relieved of any concerns, as well as provided external resources. All this to say, the complete opposite of Dr. Benoit. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service and completely unprofessional! I called the same day of my first scheduled video call to let them know I may be a few mins late as I don't get off work until the same time as my scheduled call. She said "OK, no worries, I'll make a note of that." Then after having difficulties connecting to their telehealth system, I was a grand total of 7 mins late. The lady on the call said THE PROVIDER was no longer available and I would be charged $100 missed apt fee. I explicitly & clearly stated that I would NOT be paying that fee. I even emailed them the day before my next scheduled call to confirm that I would not be paying that fee. They waited until the call was supposed to start to try and enforce the fee. Which I refused! It's not about the money at this point, it's about the principle of the matter. As a NEW PATIENT seeking help with ADD / ADHD tendencies, this is a completely unprofessional way of handling business. The best thing about them is they offer their services remotely and accept my insurance. That's where it ends. The doctors have severely reduced the amount of medication they give me for anxiety attacks over the last few years and it's degraded the quality of my life significantly. Either way a month back they had me come into an appointment to see another psychiatrist without informing me. Now they're wanting me to drive to San Antonio from Austin just so I can still see my same doctor and take a drug test. This feels like probation and punishment. They hardly give me enough meds to survive. They consistently push higher doses of medications that make me sick. It's pure insanity. I was going here because it was cheap however at this point it's just not cheap enough. I have no desire to work with doctors that believe the meds that make my life better are problematic and the ones that make me sick are the best option. I'm officially on the hunt for a new doctor and I'd suggest not wasting your time here. These people probably have 15 minutes for an appointment while billing you for much more. Feels a bit scammy. Another notable issue is how troublesome it is to actually get help with FMLA or Medical Leave paperwork. The place is an absolute nightmare and nobody that answers the phone has any authority to make simple decisions. They'll hide behind company policy without actually having anyone who can speak to the purpose of a policy or the reason it exists. Getting people to return my calls has always been problematic. The front desk people are your average angry customer service people that are angry at the world and showing it at any opportunity. First off, the doctor I have been seeing is great. The office staff have made it no longer worth going. It's a long story, but worth knowing before anyone else makes the mistake of going to this office (Georgetown location). I started a medical leave claim through HR, which the doctor agreed to sign off on. All paperwork goes through the office staff. That's not where my problems begin. The first issue was when I ran out of medication & I called to ask if they can ask the dr for a small refill or something to get me by. Scott interrupted me & flat out said "no she won't fill it, see you next week." I am sure they are understaffed and overwhelmed, but when you work for a mental health facility you must treat patients with more kindness than elsewhere. Every time I've called I felt rushed and that the staff is very short, not friendly. Don't get me wrong, not all of them are like this, but when I spoke to the dr about this medication incident & how rude Scott was, she said she wished that was the first complaint about him but it was not. She apologized & said she would have filled it, had they asked. I went 2 weeks without meds & was suffering because of it. I'm also pregnant, so hormones are raging. Fast forward to this claim I had started, HR said the office sent a form for intermittent leave instead of continuous, so they would put my claim in a grace period. Mind you I had been on leave since December 16, it is now February 12. I cannot get paid until HR approves all paperwork, but in order to do that the office has to send the right paperwork. I called the office multiple times asking they specifically put the return to work date so I can get back to work ASAP. They knew it was a continuous leave. I called them and said I'm sure it was a mistake but to please send the continuous leave form so I can return to work & get paid. I called multiple times through waiting for this claim to go through, I'm sure they were annoyed with me. The man I spoke to had a bad tone & said they were doing the best they could. It sounded like they are very understaffed, but I should not have to walk on eggshells every time I call because I'm worried about someone getting mad at me. Fast forward to today, HR has now fully denied my claim because they had not received the continuous claim form, only visit notes. I am so mad I am crying, & this leave only made my mental health worse. When I looked up reviews for the office I found many others talking about how unprofessional the office staff is. I wish I knew that before I started seeing the dr, because it is not worth it when everything goes through the front office. Something has to change here. I wish the best for the staff who I am sure are going through their own rough times, but certain kind of people need to work in this office. If this had happened to anyone else I am sure they would be getting an earful, but I am soft spoken & hate confrontation, so here I am leaving a review trying to save others from this. I REALLY was looking forward to meeting with one of their doctors, specifically Dr. Jeanne Blakeslee, because of my faith. Sparkle the scheduler was very unprofessional and unkind. I said, "Just to let you know, your music while I was holding seems very inappropriate for a mental health place.  It was the song "Crazy Train" by Ozzy.   Personally, I don't mind Ozzy. But I just thought it was VERY weird. I come from a background of having psychosis, paranoia, and delusions.....so I felt bad for anyone that might be struggling that way and have to listen to that song!!! After I said that.......Sparkle says....."I dont think this place is a good fit for you".  She got everyone on board. NO ONE will schedule me an appointment. I even had a counselor call them to help figure out what is going on! NOPE, they refused. I was devastated and very discouraged!! They said I was " difficult". I mean, really!!!!??? You're a MENTAL HEALTH ORGANIZATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Yes, I know I am difficult....THATS WHY I NEED HELP!!!!! My goodness!! I was really hoping at least a doctor would contact me.  You would have thought I called them names or threatened their lives!!! They have NO REASON to shut me out. I'm so sorry to read all of the negative reviews. My experience with my therapist and psychiatrist has been awesome. I only gave 4 stars because I too have had some less than desirable experiences with the staff. Mainly Scott. I usually talk to Melissa and she is all business but very nice. Other staff members have been curtious. But I think the doctors I see have helped me so much. I've gone from not being able to get out of bed to feeling actual happiness and contentment. Jeanne kept on working until she found the right medications. I see Martha, my therapist, virtually. I've seen her a couple of times in her office in Waco. She has helped me so much. I'm 4 months clean and don't sob everyday! I am just so thankful she was the one assigned to my case. It's all been a good experience. FYI, I'm on medicare so that may alleviate some of the payment complaints for me. read more

At first I was so happy with them. Then all went out the window. I'm on sad. Needless to say I'm on a limited budget. The first several televisits I was not charged a copay. Then 24 hrs before my appt. they wanted $40. Ok. I thought I will pay it when my payee gets my check. The day of the appt. they would not let me make my appt. So they charged me $100 more. I can't do that. So now I have 5 days of meds left ( addicting meds) and am on a list for bluebonnet trails. Shame on you. You should not mess with someone's meds. It isn't right. read more

Warning - read and choose somewhere else! Psych Dimensions Inc. is really unscrupulous, greedy, and rude. My wife booked an appointment. Later that day, they deleted her insurance details and sent us a nasty-gram demanding money for their mistake. After reading the message demanding money, I took this as a red flag. So I told her she should cancel and look somewhere else because the place was shady (and it really was). Well we weren't in the 48 hour window, we never were because the appointment wasn't even booked 48 hours out. So we got charged a $150 cancellation fee. Most legitimate Doctor's offices, that aren't out to scam people, only require 24 hours notice and maybe $50 cancellation if it's outside that window. Not this place. This place just wants your money folks, even if it means trapping you to get it. My wife tried to resolve it with them over the phone, but their Manager, Michael, decided to be rude to her and demean her over the phone. Michael did not want to talk to me because he would rather talk down to and bully women instead. I also had the feeling that Michael was frustrated with his job because it seemed like he was just a Manager in name only because it seems like the office didn't trust him or thought he was competent enough to make decisions affecting their business like a normal Manager is empowered to do. "Here you go all you can do is hold this clipboard and pretend like you're in charge." We just paid it to just to get rid of them once for all. Here's your $150 for doing nothing. They probably need to corner people with a $150 cancellation fee in order to stay afloat seeing as how they are a two-bit operation with a Nurse Practitioner. An NP is basically just a Nurse that can write prescriptions. You want a Nurse, that isn't as qualified as a Doctor, writing you prescriptions that could alter your brain chemistry, and pay like you're seeing a Doctor, then go ahead. Avoid this place and find somewhere else that isn't as detrimental to your mental health or to your wallet. read more

First, let me say that I am a 71-year-old woman. My doctor retired and I went here for help with the meds I have been on for the last 20 years. Yes, I went there because they accept insurance (my BSBC). I have never been in a Psych office and have them do an EKG, 8 tubes of blood (I had lots of blood work they could have), piss test & a cheek swab. I would have said something however after my experience with Victoria Sewell (she is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) but calls herself a doctor (I guess they can do that now), my anxiety was off the cliff and I just was not thinking. I guess she can call herself a doctor but that is a front this place puts on. There are cameras everywhere and probably listening devices as well (saw cameras - suspect recorders) everywhere. The phlebotomist (hence the 1 Star) was about the only respectful courteous person in the building. She gave me a baby dose of a depression med I told her did not work for me & scheduled me to come back in 2 weeks. Not going to happen - in my opinion - go there at your own risk look over their website carefully & all those forms you sign even after all the paperwork you do prior those in office forms. I believe there is something very shady with this group of Nurse Practitioners. read more

The entire staff is very warm and welcoming. From the moment I walked through the door, I was impressed with their efficiency and friendliness. The entire establishment was extremely clean and well-kept. The clinician I saw for medication management was caring, understanding and was amazing in pinpointing my anxiety. In a very short time, she was able to suggest strategies to assist me in seeing my cause(s) of anxiety in a new light. I have already recommended Psych Dimensions to other family members. In response to the negative reviews, I can only write the following: ALL medical establishments have set protocol they must adhere to in order to run efficiently. I've been under medication management with Psych Dimensions for three years. My experiences have all been excellent. On the free occasions when I have needed an emergency adjustment to meds, they have been able to get me in within a few days. They also did some genetic testing to help determine which medicines would work best for me. The current combination is working extremely well. I love the current telehealth option, as my home is more than an hour away from their office. I switched to PDI from Scott & White mental health care, with which I was deeply unsatisfied. The decor is unusual for a psych office, but if I had a business of my own, the decor would also reflect my personality. I have not had any issues with sudden cancellations, nor have I had any personality clashes with the personnel. read more

I never even got past their required forms. The language and requirements to been seen buy them is silly. They require a card on file with them. They have all this stuff about late appointments fees. Then you go online and they have zero ways to manage the appointments. You cannot cancel or make an appointment request. You have to call. Only took me three calls to cancel and zero call backs that i requested twice before getting ahold of them. The forms reminded me of the shady credit card company terms of service. I am paying you for service, you are not doing me a favor by treating me. The people i talked to on the phone where nice and that is the only reason i have put two starts. I definitely would not recommend this place. I have two children that have had to seek psychiatric care. One has an absolutely wonderful warm and caring Psychiatrist and the other one has very little money and had her first appointment with the therapist and had scheduled in advanced two other appointments. They would not let me talk to them and my daughter cancelled one of the appointments due to not having the money her ins requires for each visit. My daughter is only 22 and and obviously has problems interpreting and understanding things. I told her I would help her pay due to really needing care. When she called to reschedule they told her they would not see her until she paid 200.00 for two missed visits. You should explain this to a young person that has never even scheduled her own appointment!!! They obviously only care about money and not the patient. She just cried and cried!!!!!!!! read more

**APPOINTMENT CANCELATION SCAM ALERT** First off, full disclosure, I told them I would be writing this review after my last interaction with them. The scam alert has nothing to do with the quality of their counselors, who I found to be pretty good. The scam alert has to do with their cancellation policy. Here is the short version of my son's story: My 13 year old son has multiple diagnosis that could hinder his ability to problem solve and deal with technology. He logged onto his appointment on time. He stopped the session accidently one time but then due to connectivity issues he was kicked off again. So what did these neuro-typical adults do? They ended his session, called his mom to say they stopped his session and informed her that she would have to pay a $125 cancellation fee. When asked why they didn't call me immediately after the first disconnection, I was told I could have chosen to stay in the room with him to ensure connection. Really?! Does that sound like counseling, your mother staying in the room while you're in session in case your connection goes down? No, it does not. This policy is a SCAM so that even if your child only gets 30 minutes, which you have already paid $50, you as the parent will eat the cost since they can't bill insurance. This policy shows flagrant disrespect for the client's time (why not just turn it into a phone call- oh, then you wouldn't be able to get your juicy $125. This policy shows a complete disregard for 2 ethical principles that applies to all medical professionals, altruism and first do no harm. Principle 1#Altruism, or putting the need of the clients above our own, was not honored because what any client needs is to be heard. By just ending the session instead of reaching out to his parent for help with problem-solving Psych Dimensions showed that solving the issue was not the priority. They called after the session had ended to tell me that I had to pay them $125 dollars but couldn't be bothered to call me 10 minutes earlier to ask for my help with the internet connection. That makes sense because if they called 10 minutes earlier they wouldn't have been able to bill me $125. Principal #2: First do no harm: by not allowing the child to have the time that he has paid for and instead creating an increased financial strain on his parents, you are effectively forcing that child to miss future, needed counseling because you have taken the resources that would have been used to pay for those services. This is a huge blunder on behalf of Psych Dimensions. Anyone in any field of healthcare understands the sacred manner of first do no harm. Taking resources from families for your own financial gain, when you know they need those resources for counseling is despicable and goes against the foundation of what counseling stands for. Psych Dimensions basically punch my son and family in the face. They put a huge financial and emotional strain on us and I can't say enough about their lack of integrity. Do not use them for their cancellation policy alone. You deserve better and your family deserves better. read more

These people care nothing about their patients or their long term health. Staff is shockingly unprofessional. Their billing practices are at the best a complete disaster at worst sketchy. They basically won't ever do a copay they charge you each time for the whole visit. You never see a dime of that overcharge either. The woman at the front desk has no clue or care to how to deal with people who have anxiety issues she makes them 100x worse. If I could give a zero I would have. When I first started looking for a therapist it took almost 4 weeks to even get a therapist to call me back. I finally got a hold of Psych Dimensions. They got me scheduled that week. Set me up on some medication for depression and got me scheduled with a therapist. My therapist Jana is great. She has given me some great advice and is a good listener. I've never had a problem with billing or scheduling. Mr. Benoit was always attentive and listened. He has since moved on, but that hasn't affected the service. I am baffled to know that a psych facility has treated me as a patient who has come for help this way. It's been a negative experience since I first asked for an appointment. The scheduling manager was beyond rude and not helpful. Unfortunately because I was in need to help ASAP for my condition to succeed in my career path I took the appointment. I made a mistake on the history of paperwork ( considering I do have adhd and the reason I'm coming in the first place ) and they did not offer any type of solution rather than a 150 fee to not complete the paper work and a 100 fee if I missed the meeting to do so. It was the worst feeling. Stress times a million more. I called back for a follow up because the physiatrist was a help and the " scheduling manager" was ruder than she was before and offered no constructive feedback for possible solutions and had the audacity to hang up on me. I have mixed feelings about this office. I came here regularly (about 6 weeks at a time) for almost a year. Dr. Moore (and more recently Dr. Benoit) are very friendly and do their job well. However, the facility itself is not very patient-friendly. I didn't feel like I could make my own decisions as a patient and their schedule is absolutely inflexible. There are DNA and other types of testing that they do to "help identify the correct medication." Dr. Moore was able to prescribe me something that worked on my first visit, so I had no need to do any of this testing, but I did anyway because I was lead to believe it was required. All of the costs were covered, but I still received very big (and very scary) bills in the mail that I was simply told not to worry about when I brought up my concerns to the staff. My DNA test was unsuccessful, so I was asked to do it again. Because I was taking the right medication and didn't see it as necessary, I tried to refuse. The staff kindly told me it would be good to have, but they basically gave me no choice, so I had to reluctantly comply. I was also having several issues with scheduling. Certain days of the week are reserved for certain types of appointments, and there were rarely any times available when I was able to come in. My schedule wasn't necessarily unreasonable, and I've had no complications making appointments anywhere else. Most times at the end of my appointment I would just be handed an appointment card with a date and time and be expected to show up then. I'd always have to ask them to change it. It was an ordeal every time, and now I am unable to continue coming here because of the very limited schedule. I understand that there are several people who schedule appointments here, but there should be reasonable flexibility. Overall I would not recommend this establishment if you're coming in for a more "normal" reason (depression, bipolar, anxiety, etc) unless you have absolutely nowhere else to find a prescription. If you have special needs of any kind and those services are offered here, then by all means make an appointment. I was a very tolerant and loyal patient, and I did not mind most of the issues, but not being able to make my own decisions or create my own appointments has lead me to seek services elsewhere. read more

Very disappointed and discriminated against. Lied to and they canceled my appointment with hardly any warning and no direction to further assist. Hung up on among other sad things. Stay away because they don't care. read more

This felt like my final attempt to get some help and after 10 plus years of very dark PTSD/DEPRESSION/ANXIEY, and the debilitating feeling of not being able to even try anymore was lifted off of my chest and I was taught that we all need tools to help us learn about how to handle situations all over again or since the events that changed me into this person I became. I was listening to the new groove carved into a record that just played on loop in my head all day and night without any form of escape, until I finally got help through P.D. / Psych Dimensions with a 3 prong attack method or approach to the problems. TMS therapy, the correct med.s and Psychiatric therapy which I was able to do via faectime, through my phone in my home. I feel like most people need talk therapy, but they won't know until it is very bad, I would highly recommend anyone needing mental health help to use their facilities. read more

The front desk staff are always very friendly and quick. The person who does vital signs is quick and does not make you feel uncomfortable when doing weight check. Erma FNP is great! Easy to talk to, listens and never rushes you. She always make sure you understand plan of care and medication schedul. read more

I love the staff at this clinic. I usually see Anthony at their Round Rock Clinic. He is amazing. Front desk staff and lab staff are always very pleasant. As someone who works in medical billing and coding myself, I'm pleased with how their billing department does too. I only pay my co-payment to see them. Very wonderful experience. read more
