There is no way to reach them my phone or email and our power has been out for almost 24 hours after yesterday's hurricane winds uprooted power lines. This is INEXCUSABLE!! I had to swing by PSEG/National Grid to take care of some business and to my surprise it was completely empty inside! I had to look around to make sure I was in the right place and it just so happened that I was (timing is everything)! The first customer service agent to assist me at PSEG was Mary, she was efficient but her demeanor was distant and she seemed as if she wanted to do her eight hours and go home. She got the job done and I was sent to another agent named Omar for National Grid, he was great! Omar was quick efficient and did his job with a smile! All in all it was a pleasant experience especially since I was in and out 15 minutes! read more

Not only are they slow at fixing power issues, I don't even care about that. They are the nastiest workers I've even encountered. T E R R I B L E !!! I can't believe it's even legal for PSEG to exist WITHOUT PENALTY! My house has been without power for almost 24 hours now and when I try to make a report, the automated answering service says that power has already been restored in my area... If power has restored then why can I hear all the houses around me who have generators blasting them?!! If power has been restored then why aren't the air conditioners or the fridge/freezer in my house working?!!! WHAT'S EVEN WORSE is the answering service then says that it's my own fault because there is something wrong with my electrical breaker/circuit box (which there is NOT because I checked) AND THEN HANGS UP THE CALL! - I can't even report that I have no power! Now, next month when I HAVE TO PAY PSEG for power, will I be able to say "well, I didn't have power for 1-2-3 days, so I'm going to deduct the cost.."? My power broke down it took them 5 days to fix it I do not recommend this company at all they are garbage.

For whatever reason they don't seem to be able to handle a few hours of wind. They've yet to restore power from two days ago and don't even have certain locations on their outage map even though they're "aware". They won't pick up the phone so people are just left angry. I have an i law with dementia and an in law with stage 4 cancer and they are without their home, not knowing when they can get home. This is not ok. read more

1. The Company has a very antiquated payment system. 2. They rip off the people of Long Island/New York. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! I Called yesterday got a nice intelligent woman on the phone. Made a deal with her on the bill. Called today because I needed help making a payment because I was using a credit card and I got this impatient CREEP that was actually making fun of me for making mistakes.
